  We came here for the second times : the mushroom risotto was excellent, the grill plate a little bit boring. Starters like the taco were OK but overall not worth the high price. The restaurant is too warm and we were rushed even though it wasn't too crowded - with aircon and better service it would be a better experience.   We stopped at the Green Affair on our first night in Lisbon, and are pleased to report that they made a great first impression on us! We had the katsu curry and a veggie burger, both dishes were delicious! We felt very comfortable in the restaurant and stayed for extra drinks after our meal. We will definitely return when we are next in Lisbon.   The atmosphere was very cozy, we came quite early so we had the restaurant to ourselves. Therefore we had no issue with waiting time at all. We started of with the Take Couvert! and the Cauliflower Wings, both were really delicious. Especially the cauliflower was good and very nice and crispy. As main we had the Pumpkin Flaky Crust, unfortunately the portion was a bit smaller then expected as the main part if the dish was the flaky pastry. The filling itself was delicious but very little compared to the amount of crust. The cauliflower puree was good in taste but in was very little and more like a sauce, very liquid. The dish was good in flavor but the overall ratio and texture leaves some room for improvement. The second dish we had was the Seitan Barbecue, the quantity if the dish was good but it was not really outstanding in flavor. The coleslaw was really missing flavor it was very bland in taste. The seitan was okay in taste but there was not a lot of sauce which also ended up leaving the fries a bit dry. A sauce or dip would've been nice. As a drink we had a lemonade which was more like a lemon water so I wouldn't recommend that but we also had a white sangria with gin which was really delicious and had a very unique flavor. Overall it was nice dinner, the starters were really good compared to the main course. Would definitely try again and maybe try some of the other main dishes. O segundo prato que comemos foi o Seitan Barbecue, a quantidade se o prato fosse bom mas não tinha um sabor realmente excepcional. A salada de repolho estava realmente faltando sabor, tinha um sabor muito brando. O seitan tinha um sabor bom, mas não tinha muito molho, o que também acabou deixando as batatas fritas um pouco secas. Um molho ou molho teria sido bom. Como bebida tomamos uma limonada que mais parecia uma água com limão então não recomendo mas também tomamos uma sangria branca com gin que estava realmente deliciosa e tinha um sabor muito único. No geral foi um jantar agradável, as entradas eram muito boas em comparação com o prato principal. Definitivamente tentaria novamente e talvez experimentasse alguns dos outros pratos principais.

  We went to the green affair on a quick google of vegetarian restaurants in Lisbon. We enjoyed the food - some veggie takes on Portuguese classics. The decor was cool, unfortunately was a bit quiet, but it was a midweek night in January. I would think in peak times, this would have a great atmosphere.   OMG, this all vegan restaurant is amazing. The food was so good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff attentive without being overbearing. We had two starters, drinks, dinner for two, and the most delicious chocolate cake for dessert with a cappuccino, that can only be described as pure ecstasy. All for about €50. Plus because New Year’s Eve crowds we were late for our reservation and the were most gracious about it and seated us immediately with our choice of upstairs or downstairs.   It was once my fav restaurant in town, but the quality of the service dropped so much. We waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. They didn't even smile or were nice. Then they were always confusing our order with the table next to us. It's not a cheap restaurant in Lisbon. The customer should feel cared for. The was great at least.   We liked The Green Affair. In an effort to sample as many of the vegan eateries in Lisbon as possible, we arrived for our second meal of the day at Green Affair. The restaurant wasn’t very busy on a weeknight & the service & wait time was excellent. The starters elevated the bar high - breaded cauliflower wings & chik’n tacos were the highlight of the meal. My partner ordered the pesto pasta & I had the seitan steak. The food was properly hearty & healthy, we agreed something about the delivery / textures just didn’t “wow” us like the starters did. Nonetheless we emerged from the meal feeling elevated & happy to have dined there. We will be making a return trip to Lisbon & would be more than happy to dine here again! Thanks GA!   So, lets start with saying I applaude any restaurant making a move to 100% vegan and trying their best at it. And then this place has a very nice atmosphere, great helpful staff, beautifully styled and clean toilets and extremely friendly prices. The food…. It’s fine, everything is cooked well, the choices on the menu are interesting, but everything could do with a little more flavour. A little salt/pepper, maybe some lime & chili, or some garlic or ginger here or there, just to give everything a bit more ‘balls’. The flavours were a little bland, which might be good for families with kids, but people trying vegan for the first time might see a truth in the prejudice that cooking without meat or dairy gets boring.   We were denied the upper floor which remained empty for the entire night. We had to stay next to the door, smelling cigarette from the street. The food is very good but the service is terrible 🤮 The waiter was very rude and we remain waiting for the starters after the main dish!   Food was ok. The gyoza were quite good. Katsu was pretty bland for the price and the salad was wilted with some slimy leaves. Staff was friendly enough except for the bartender who was very rude.   Lovely, smiley staff. The Cascais burger was delicious, best vegan cheese I’ve ever had by far. It had a lovely relaxed atmosphere too.   This was a great experience in Lisbon. The food was good. Experimenting with vegetables and not just manufactured stuff trying to replicate meat flavour and texture. The ambiance and service was good. Great mocktails. The only negative i had was their menu and ordering system. You have to scan a QR code and the menu is on it and you order from it too.   Such good vegan food, unpretentious and just so good. The steak dish had an absolutely delicious sauce and perfectly crispy and salty sweet potato fries. The texture of the steak could have been a little firmer for my taste and the coleslaw on both main courses could have used both salt and vinegar. The Cauliflower on the starter menu was delicious and crispy and the dip was excellent. The ribs were good, but the seitan could have been crispier and a slightly spicier sauce would have made the meal a little better.   Booked through The Fork for a get-together with a few friends. The place was very nice, perfect lighting for a quiet dinner out, and the staff was very pleasant. The menu showcased a variety of vegetarian delicacies which you don't have to be a vegetarian to thoroughly enjoy!   Really wanted to like this place. The menu looked great. Ambience was nice. However, this turned out to be one of the worst meals we had in Portugal. The appetizers were okay, but the seitan (my wife’s favourite) steak was horrendous and the ribs were barely edible. Even the fries were not good. The servers were nice, but they brought our mains at the same time as the appetizers, and then brought them back a few times after we sent them back. Eventually when we were ready for them, they brought them back stone-cold. It was a cute restaurant with potential, but unfortunately was a very disappointing experience this night.   super glad i tried this amazing vegan restaurant in lisbon! we came here spontaneously and were very impressed with the quality of the food and the large amount of appealing menu items - it was hard to choose a meal! we went for the seitan ribs and the tofu lagareiro, both of which were amazing. the tofu lagareiro is a traditional portuguese dish whicj is usually made with cod fish, so that was really great to be able to try! the atmosphere was also great but the service could have been a bit more attentive. overall id definitely recommend coming here!   The starters are good but my meal did not feel fresh and it wasnt great anyway. Seita stake was more like a liver casserole and lacked the fiber I was expecting. It also cooled down really quickly which made me feel like it was heated under a lamp or microwave... Also the sweet potato fries and side of regular fries were not crispy at all. For the price I'm not recommending it. Maybe the good chef had a day off because many recommended it. We didn't have to book a table in advance and the staff was super accommodating and friendly. We felt very welcome. Also, definitely try their homemade ice tea, it's very unique and delicious.   Amazing food here. I ordered two starters and my partner ordered a main. The mushroom tacos were delicious, but unfortunately I didn't get my other starter as I think the waiter thought I ordered a similar dish as a main - just an issue with me not being clear considering the language barrier and the fact most people order a starter and main, so it wasn't much of a problem to me. The main I received was a cauliflower steak with vegetables and what I think was a beetroot puree. It was very nice anyway. My partner had the seitan steak with sweet potato fries and it was amazing. The sauce with it was so good and the texture of the seitan was very nice. The waiter was very nice and provided good service.   For some reason this place has quite high raiting on Google but I have to say that I don't really understand why. Each time I went there (3 times in total), the food was without flavour, missing the seasoning and imagination. The last time, my salad was lacking the dressing and it was probably one of the worst salads I have ever eaten. The waiter took it back and came back with what was supposed to be a "seasoned" salad but it was still very unsatisfying. The staff is really friendly and welcoming but this won't make up for a poor quality of food. The majority of food they serve is quite healthy but that's about it. Wouldn't recommend.   The food here is truly amazing and affair is a really suitable word for the experience you have while eating it! The only thing missing for me is that they don't accept dogs inside, because of thag we had to go to the terrace and there was a very loud machine there and no music to disguised it and at the beginning, as the restaurant only had people on the other side, I swear they forgot about us there for a bit, but I had a lovely time and the service was very good nevertheless, just weird that a vegan restaurant is not more pet friendly... The layout of the restaurant is a bit awkward for service though as there’s an upstairs and a downstairs. The downstairs was often forgotten, and servers would literally run down and apologize.   We visited Lisbon and had a very good lunch at The Green Affair. This is a vegan restaurant along Rua Serpa Pinto in the Chiado neighbourhood. Opening hours are 12pm to 11pm daily. They have a modern and nicely decorated indoor seating area as well as terrace section as well. Staff were friendly and timely during our late lunch as well. On the occasion we tried their Chestnut Risotto and chickpea & quinoa burger with pesto and a side of sweet potato fries. Both dishes were prepared well in the kitchen and presentable. They tasted very good and as expected for a quality vegan restaurant. We'd have no problem ordering both again and would be interested in trying other dishes on their menu. Overall, very good job to the team at The Green Affair. This is a solid vegan restaurant with quality dishes and very good service.   Delicious vegan food with a varied and exciting menu. I was travelling the next day so I probably went for a very 'safe' option — the Katsu curry. It was a delicious sauce with crispy panko vegetables and a nicely dressed salad, exactly as you'd hope for! The brown rice was a touch underdone for me, but that may just be personal taste. I really enjoyed the dish anyway, and also had the gyoza which were particularly tasty. I like the interior decor of the restaurant, the music, and the general atmosphere. Staff were also very attentive. My only complaint would be that halfway through my dinner (probably around 18.15), they dramatically turned the lights down, making it almost impossible to see my food. I would have liked it if the lighting was just a bit brighter. Overall though, great food, and I'd love to return some day and try more of their menu options!   I hate to leave bad reviews for fully vegan restaurants but unfortunately I can’t recommend green affair. We arrived for an early dinner and asked if we had a reservation, we said no and after looking around the empty restaurant the server seated us in a dark corner with a broken light, next to the kitchen, clearly the worst table in the place. We assumed this meant they were soon to be full and we had the only table left. The food sounded fresh and nice to have some healthier vegan options after holiday indulgence, but the food was pretty bland. I had the winter bowl, with tofu, roasted sweet potato spinach and rice, none of the food was seasoned and there was no sauce to give flavour either. Vegan food doesn’t have to be plain and tasteless! By the time we had eaten the restaurant had seated many more walk ins at much nicer tables, leaving us feeling like we made a massive mistake thinking going earlier without a reservation was the best plan. The restaurant still wasn’t full when we left. We had to ask twice for our bill and saw a few other tables have to ask to have their orders taken.   The food really wasn’t all that great. Two of our five dishes were good so I’m giving it two stars. The staff were uninterested in helping anyone. Everyone was constantly trying to wave down the servers. We had Miguel taking care of us as well as everyone else and he was spectacular! He was great and was the only one who was taking care of ALL the tables. The tofu & dumpling dishes were great, the hummus was a such a small serving that it felt like a joke. The croquettes were really unappetizing, sticky and stuck to the roof of our mouths. Overall it just felt very thrown together and not well thought out about. I rarely have desert but wanted to give it a try and the chocolate brownie (?) with pineapple sauce (on the side!) was good. If there is a next time I’d like to go for the marinated tofu dish.   This was so delicious!!! Oh my lord... the Cauliflower Wings were crisp, savoury and the sauce was so nice. Add to that the Vegetarian "Meat" Burger with pepper spiced fries, delicious juicy roasted vegetables and a creamy pumpkin risotto and you will not go home hungry. The waiters are super friendly, the whole atmosphere is like smooth jazz. The location and decoration are great. Full vegetarian menu.   No idea why they got anything below 5 stars. Amazing food! We had the linguine with pesto and the risotto with asparagus and pumpkin. It was heaven on earth.   Had a great lunch experience at the Green Affair - their lunch menu is a great value and the quality (and quantity) of the food was impressive. I really appreciated that they offer a plan based take on typical dishes instead of simply offering a veggie burger. Staff was also really friendly and service was quick.   The gyoza’s and watermelon tahini were very tasty and promising. The waitress that waited our table was super friendly. The rest of our dinner the service was really slow and messy. Our main dishes were terrible: a burger and the seitan steak. As pretty the mise en place of the appetizers was, as unappealing the main dishes looked. Burger was cold and had a weird flavor and texture. I couldn’t finish my seitan steak because it was so terrible: the look, the taste, the texture, the green sauce. As dessert we split the chocolate cake. It was edible, but not more than that. I’m very sorry to say this: if you want to have a vegan dinner in Lisbon, go for it, but choose a different restaurant!   We had Katsu curry which was amazing. Seitan steak was alright. Vegetable gyosas were so nice. Cauliflower wings were crispy and nice.   At this restaurant I’ve met the best and the worst waiters, when returned. Short hair woman is the best, I loved her so much, but two times we returned we got the long hair woman who was so bad at her job it made us not very eager to go back unfortunately. I don’t know if she is still there but I will try my luck again when come back to Lisbon next time. Food is good, nice wine, love the interior design.   A bit of a mixed experience...but overall we did enjoy it here. Service was great, restaurant interior was lovely, and cocktails were delicious. The starters were very experimental- watermelon as tuna, a fruity style cerviche and some classic focaccia. All were delicious and not usually things I would order. We shared the seitan steak and tofu dish, which were both just a bit lacking in flavour. Veggies/greens were great, but the main focus of the meals just missed the mark. I would definitely visit again to try some other dishes, but maybe the mistake we made were choosing veganised "classic" dishes such as "steak".   Bad experience from the beginning 😬 Yesterday we’ve eaten in another Green Affair and everything was perfect 👍🏻 In this place the waitress was not very nice. We asked if we can seat near the window, she said they prefer we stay in the zone upstairs (obviously it’s more comfortable for them to have all clients close to each other to serve, but c’mon 🤷🏼‍♀️). The zone upstairs is completely closed from natural light and window and feels claustrophobic. So we just walked away, it was not right mood :( Very sorry because we loved the food in another restaurant and wanted to eat there again.   Beautiful restaurant with lovely staff. The food is nice but a bit bland. Especially the Seitan Steak could’ve used more flavour. Also the crumble was not what I expected when I ordered it. It was more like a cake rather than an actual crumble. Nonetheless it’s a good vegan option when you’re in Lisbon and I recommend going there.   Service was excellent, the waitresses were very nice. Everything else was mediocre at best. The appetizers were incredibly oily, specially the dados de tapioca (you could barely taste the tapioca!). My friends had one of the vegan burger and were incredibly disappointed (Also, they brought them out really cold and we had to ask them to warm them up. They were very nice about it and re made them burgers but that left me eating alone for most of the meal), I had the risotto which was ok, but nothing special.   Had a really relaxing and enjoyable lunch with a good vegan rendition of katsu curry but the vegan steak with fries my wife ordered was even better. The dessert was a great low sugar berries crumble with lemon whipped cream that tasted like Sweden on a plate. The restaurant decoration is also a big plus, a hip modern art deco combined with a super chill mood. Everyone waiting was super nice and helpful also, so a big plus there.   Nice, stylish yet affordable casual dining place with positive atmosphere : I ordered a tofu dish mocking a Portuguese national dosh so o should've guessed it would taste like fish :) the coarsely mashed potatoes the tofu was served on wasn't the best if i may be honest. But a perfectly good vegan option in town. Would recommend it.   The food sounded (from the menu) and looked awesome. Unfortunately it was cold when they brought it and tasted quite bland... But the worst part about our experience was the service/organization: Although we explicitly mentioned when ordering that we wanted a break between startes and main course, they brought the main while we were still eating the starters 😔 we weren't offered a second drink and just felt like they wanted us out as quickly as possible.   Absolutely loved the food here. Some of the nicest and most well thought out vegan dishes I've had. I went here with two of my friends who aren't vegan and they really enjoyed their meal too! I took one star away because we were put at a table in 'the garden'. It was a bit cold, lacked atmosphere and felt like the overflow table for the restaurant.   You have to make a reservation/booking to get a table but it is absolutely worth it. It's very nicely decorated, great and friendly service and the food was really good. We had the watermelon tataki as a starter (never had anything like that before and never thought of watermelon this way), the asparagus risotto with mushrooms and the boneless lagareiro as a main dish and the cheesecake as a dessert. Everything was really good, but the boneless lagareiro was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my whole life. I couldn't believe it. It was absolutely amazing. The tofu was flavorful and the mashed potatoes were absolutely delicious! We also had the Katsu Curry, which stated it was spicy but it wasn’t at all. There were only two small pieces of tofu in it, which was very disappointing. The Curry was good but I would recommend they add more tofu to it.   I went into the restaurant with high hopes and was even more excited after arriving because the ambience is amazing - it is neatly organized, the colour theme is eye-catching yet relaxing, and the decor has a lot of character. But I was sincerely disappointed with the food. We ordered the gyozas, cauliflower wings and Bao for starters. Of these, the gyozas were quite delicious but the other two weren't very tasty. For the mains, we ordered the serloin steak and katsu curry dishes. Not the best vegan takes I've had. The curry lacked a spice zing and was on the sour side with tad too much tumeric flavour. The steak was mealier than necessary, but the sauce was quite good and brought some flavour to the dish. For the dessert, the Charlie Brown was enjoyable. In the drinks, I recommend the pumpkin spice latte and the mango highlander cocktail. You may skip the kombucha. We started with the Bao for an appetizer and got the Caril Katzu and Lagareiro for entrees. Everything was delicious but it was especially neat trying the Lagareiro which is a traditional Portuguese dish but veganized :) On top of all of that we enjoyed some fabulous Portuguese wines and had amazing service.   Nothing negative to say about the Green Affair. Both of their restaurants are amazing. The food is always fresh, really good portion size, the staff is super friendly and the place looks lovely too. We had the hot dog which was delicious.   Went here twice during our stay in Lisbon. Great elaborated food and good service. Special thanks to the lady who worked the first time we came, she seemed to be the boss and we had such a great conversation and felt so welcome. Second time here we even were a little disappointed because nobody started a conversation or was particularly friendly. Would always come back to this gem! Agradecimentos especiais à senhora que trabalhou na primeira vez que viemos, ela parecia ser a chefe e tivemos uma ótima conversa e nos sentimos muito bem-vindos. Na segunda vez aqui ficamos um pouco decepcionados porque ninguém iniciou uma conversa ou foi particularmente amigável. Sempre voltaria a esta jóia!

  Great vegan restaurant with professional service and high quality menu. Presentation and taste is amazing. Interior is in muted green and takes a bit of time getting used to, but would definitely come again.   We had lunch here and really enjoyed it. The restaurant looks very nice, like it had just opened and it is much bigger than it looks from the outside. The staff was really welcoming. They have a special deal during lunch with soup + main + drink but we chose our dishes from the normal menu. We also had the bruschetta with avocado (but not on the pics) as starter which was really good. Would definitely recommend. (Traduzido pelo Google) Almoçamos aqui e gostamos muito. O restaurante parece muito bonito, como se tivesse acabado de abrir e é muito maior do que parece por fora. A equipe foi muito acolhedora. Eles têm uma oferta especial no almoço com sopa + prato principal + bebida mas escolhemos nossos pratos do menu normal. Também comemos a bruscheta com abacate (mas não nas fotos) como entrada, o que foi muito bom. Definitivamente recomendaria.

  We had a great evening. I had the hummus bruschetta, mushroom linguine and the crumble while my wife chose the avocado bruschetta, pumpkin gnocci and the chocolate pie. Everything was delicious. Also a very good price as we payd 55€ for the food 2 beers, one cocktail and 2 sparkling waters. Give it a try! (Traduzido pelo Google) Tivemos uma ótima noite.
