  Chinese food that tastes real, fast service, very friendly staff, amazing selection of dishes for anyone, they have the pre made platters or you can just choose what you want. We had a portion of egg fried rice, beef with shasha sauce (not too peanuty) as they said on the menu and indeed it was perfect, some vietnamise rolls which were super naturally flavoured same as stir fried veggies. Just the perfect combo to try it all, definitely happy we chose to try this place, good one for a chill evening at the crazy Oura street.   BE AWARE!!!!Got food poison !!!!!All was fine at the start , I wanted to try first time Sake and got recommended to drink It on its own , that what I did and it was way too strong got some Coke to drink with it . We ordered some deep fried chicken with salt and pepper chips and curry , food taste so weird and chicken was so hard , it took me so long to even eat quarter of the dish and I couldn’t bother anymore to eat it , at the end the guys charged me more for Sake than specified on the menu where I said that I was showing which one I want and they drop the price, the old Lady was very nice I can’t say anything about her and the guy who was serving us and who talked English , but unfortunately I arrived home and start to have a strong pain in stomach , couldn’t breath properly and thought I’ll die or need to call Ambulance , I had to throw up and guess what it was ? Chicken which I ate in Chineese and it came out all green from my stomach , and I did not eat or drink anything green, it is first experience where I throw up from food and in that short amount , after 1 hour I got very sick and only throwing up helped me . Please guys be aware that something isn’t right there , my partner did not have that big issue but had stomach pain also , I am more sensitive to this but please just be careful cuz I got poisoned and it’s very dangerous especially when you are on holidays . Frango que comi em chinês e saiu todo verde do estômago, e não comi nem bebi nada verde, é a primeira experiência onde vomito de comida e nessa pouca quantidade, depois de 1 hora fiquei muito doente e só vomitar me ajudou. Por favor, pessoal, estejam cientes de que algo não está certo aí, meu parceiro não teve esse grande problema, mas também teve dor de estômago, sou mais sensível a isso, mas por favor, tomem cuidado porque fui envenenado e é muito perigoso, especialmente quando você está ligado feriados.

All of it was yummy, portions didn’t look big but they were never ending 🤣 So yummy. Bill ended out to be 25€ and we were full full.   After reading reviews 5 of us dined at this restaurant. Im unsure if they have a new chef to when these were made but I can not agree with any of them. Our dishes were tasteless and greasy. One of my fellow diners left his dish after one bite, I tried a number of different ones as we'd ordered a fair amount of food. My concern was how they mannaged to get all the food out withing 5 minutes of us ordering. The venue was lovely but as for everything else I wasn't impressed at all. Ive had tastier meals at an all you can eat global buffet restaurant. This was such a shame as we were all looking forward to it.   First visit here in spite of many years coming to the area. Service was good. Plates were not heated, neither were the dishes in which the food was served. This resulted in the food cooling quite quickly. Most restaurants in the area give customers a small glass of port after their meal. Golden Garden doesn't. Minor point perhaps but gives an insight into attitude to customers as the management must be aware what happens nearly everywhere else.   Gorgeous Golden Garden! After being greeted by the very happy man at the front we just had to go in! We started off with a couple of beers and prawn crackers whilst browsed the menu. Our order came fairly quickly and was piping hot which is always a good sign! Started off with mixed hors d’oeuvres for 2 (there was a lot! Big portions!). The spring rolls were packed full with filling. The prawns were so juicy and plump. The spare ribs were great to get your fingers messy! For mains we had the Szechuan chicken and sizzling chicken in black bean sauce. Both were packed with flavour and delicious! Personally the noodles were a bit bland for me. Slightly dry and just not too much to them. The portions are very large so bare that in mind when your eyes getting bigger than your belly!   Would rate 4.5 stars. Great value for money, we over ordered on food and the bill was still very cheap. The waiters were very tentative and friendly, but they did start to struggle a bit as the venue got packed. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was probably the best I've ever had. The starters were good, no complaints, the shredded duck was good, we had two 1/2s for the table, one was perfectly cooked and the other was slightly over done, which one of our party actually preferred. The banana deserts were sizable and surprisingly tasty, if you can get over the fact that they are battered like the prawns. We didn't get offered a complimentary liquer at the end though, which is standard in most Chinese restaurants.   Staff was very polite and the place appeared very clean. However, Sui mai dumplings were out of stock for the days supply by 630 pm. Won ton were basically tortilla chips with no filling though staff removed them from the bill when they noticed they were not consumed. No egg drop soup on menu, also there is no mushu pork, which isn’t the end of the world, but this is basically the most westernized version of a Chinese restaurant. For some people that’s great for others it will be super disappointing. For main course, the noodles were increasingly bland, and the orange chicken wasn’t good.   We went there yesterday based on the reviews we've read. However we were utterly disappointed. My friend, who usually eats very salty, barely ate half of her food, as it was way too salty, even for her taste! Both of our main meals were so so so oily, it was basically oil and some of what we have actually ordered. And they must have had onions going bad or something as both of our meals had so much onion, it was ridiculous. We wouldn't go back there!   This place is bang for your buck, we tried 2 Chinese restaurants both being cheap but this one was delicious and they give huge portions. We spent €43 for 2 adults and 2 kids drinks included and couldn't finish so my advice would be ask about portion sizes but the food was beautiful. And the old Chinese man who welcomed us in and seated us was so accommodating to our young kids he came back with lollipops for them.   Fantastic tasty food. Only went there to keep the daughter happy but very glad I did . Food was better than back home. Good selection and very tasty. The Chinese guy on the strip trying to get you in to the restaurant is very funny. You will be laughing at him all night.   Tremendous value. Staff are very friendly especially the man who greets along the street. I would recommend the set menu. We had the set menu for 2 and the crispy duck was excellent. Add to that 2 beers and 2 soft drinks for less than €40. The only gripe is that service can be slow as the restaurant is always full. Would definitely go again.
