  I ordered take away. This is probably the worst food I had. I ordered aloo kulcha which had small sand particles. Chicken tikka had tonne of salt.   Have eaten here twice in our one week holiday. Surya Paul & his brother are perfect hosts. Our first visit was as a couple, so impressed we brought six friends with us the second time. A vast menu freshly cooked as you like it (with advice given as to spicyness, hotness etc) . The food was delicious and everyone was of the same opinion .   Well we must have gone on a bad night,what we experienced was not what the reviews would have you believe.The onion bhajis were dry the mint sauce looked radio active with bright green unnatural colour. My wife ordered a taken Rogan Josh more like a chilli tomato sauce prawns tough, the pilau rice dry but Bombay potato ok. I had the Goan fish curry again lacking flavour just 🥵 hot and we asked for medium heat.we have eaten many Currys in our life but this was one of the worst.Sorry guys but it was below average and your Menu is way too big, maybe concentrate on quality rather then quantity,just a thought 🤔.   Good meal on a nice space. Aside from the menu choices, they had a promotional offer vegetarian and non-veg menu for 14,50€ choosing from a bunch of options for starters, side and main dishes. For starters I had the vegetable pakora and the masala papadam, both were amazing, the papadam was the best thing in the meal . For the main dish I ordered Daal tarka for the main course, it comes with butter but staff told me they would make it without. It was good and filling, nothing to point out. All in all a nice meal.   This is my first time in Portugal and the food was an issue until I found this hidden gem. The restaurant has halal options along with Vegan options perfect for Vegetarians or Muslims who follow a halal dietary and is often hard to find in Europe. The curry was amazing and so tasty, the fries were fresh and the chips too and not to mention their homemade kulfi ice cream. Please do give this place a go because it will simply blow your socks off.   We came from the UK and struggled to find somewhere to eat that caters for Coeliac disease, until we found Curry Leaves. Large menu with a variety of tastes. Dishes are served mild, so suitable for children but can request how spicy you would like your meal.   We went to the Curry Leaves in Sept 2022 for the first time and were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our experience. We were met by friendly welcoming staff who could not have been more polite, and when asked about availability of certain dishes were told "if it's not on the menu but we have all the ingredients, then we can make it". The food was delightful, so much so we visited three times in all and look forward to returning next year. Now firmly in our list of favourite restaurants in the resort.   We had promised ourselves an Indian before we left and based on the reviews popped in. We were seated promptly even though they were busy. There was a clap of thunder and we retreated inside and were accommodated with a nice table. We had poppadoms,peshwari nann, a veg korma and a lamb balti. The lamb was ridiculously tender, the balti was tasty but the rice was next level. The best mushroom pilau I've ever eaten, my other half said the same thing about her coconut rice.   The staff here are lovely. The food was very good. The 3 stars is because the hygiene of the place wasn't great. Our plates were dirty and a wine glass had lipstick stains on it from a previous patron. We ordered the Tikka masala and butter chicken and both were lovely but tomato was a very predominant flavour in both dishes. Waiter explained all the options including tourist menu which is discounted and all the other options on menu including extensive vegetarian options with homemade Paneer so I was in my element! This was one of the best indians ive had the man was lovely he changed the menu to suite us since were vegetarians the fresh home made sauces was delicious , the desserts was too good the price was normal for a indian but i would of payed more for such a great meal definitely high quality!   Me and my group of merry men entered this restaurant with 5 hungry stomachs. We were immediately greeted and accommodated by a well-spoken young Indian man who could answer all of our awkward questions about the menu - 3 of us being vegetarian/vegan and 1 being completely incapable of handling the tiniest amount of spice (he orders plain at Nando's). The overall bill was 136 euros and we were happy about it comparing to Germany the amount of food we ate and taste was good too. We have spent 2,5hrs waiting for the food and only have put up with the time as we wanted to try the curry.Few other people were upset waiting long time too.   Went looking for a Indian restaurant in Albufeira and Google Maps suggested me Curry Leaves. Well and thank’s god it suggested it. Even during all this craziness of Covid the staff was very kind and the cleanliness was top notch. The food? 5 stars. Everything was very tasty with good portions. The touristic menu sounds like a tourist trap but nothing like that, it’s a very balanced price wise and food selection. If you like Indian food and a good bank for the buck this is the place.   Hospitality was great. My toddler son had a stomach upset and threw up in his high chair but the staffs were very helpful which was excellent.   The gem of Praia Da Oura. We are both massive Indian food lovers and this restaurant did not disappoint, in fact I think it exceeded expectations. I can understand why so many people have left glowing reviews of this little place. The food was exceptional. My partner said it was the best keema naan he has ever eaten and I think its the best curry I have ever had too and having been to India, I think that's quite the accolade. The service was fantastic. The staff couldn't do enough for us, even noticing that it was my partners birthday and bringing him out a traditional Indian cake with a candle in it. They also asked how hot we liked our curry, something I think all Indian restaurants should do especially as we like it hot. What we ordered: Onion bahji Jalfrezi Chicken curry... Sounds nondescript but was full of flavour with ginger, garlic and coriander. A not too tomato intense dish which worked perfectly for me who is not a tomato lover. Mushroom rice Onion rice Keema naan All washed down with a very nice jug of sangria. All for €44 euros. Bargain. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Couldn't fault a thing.   Proper Indian food, I'd say likely the best in Albufeira. The place is very decent with outdoor and indoor seating, perhaps 20 tables or so. Service is excellent.   We live near the Manchester UK curry mile and it is fair to say this is clearly one of the best, if not the best India restaurant in Albufeira. Freshly prepared ingredients, I could taste fresh prawns, pepper etc this chef can really cook. Attentive staff and wanted to please.
