  Just had a wonderful meal here, staff are very welcoming and attentive! Three of us had 2 starters bruschetta with cherry tomatoes garlic and basil and one with goats cheese walnuts and honey, mains was duck with orange sauce sides included, chicken breast with garlic cream sauce, bottle of Merlot, fanta orange and 2 bottles of water for €88, great value and great portion sizes!   Absolutely brilliant Italian food in a nice setting. We sat outside but there are lots of tables inside with an open outlook onto the fairly quiet street. It felt busy but not as overwhelmingly busy as much of the old town. The service was excellent. The waitress actually made a small mistake with our order but the first we knew about it was when she arrived at the table with her apologies and two glasses of wine on the house. As it was, my lasagne was only a couple of minutes later than my wife’s pizza, so there was no problem. The food was also excellent. The lasagne was fresh and very tasty. I also tried some of my wife’s pizza, which was the best we’d had on holiday. All round, a very good experience at Il Brigante!   Been coming Albufeira for years and finally ate here. Lovely. Grilled sirloin which was delish. Could've had it on a hot stone to do yourself but thought it was bit of a faff.   We ordered few things, secure - we thought, for children and us. Pizza, Lasagne, shrimps and french frites. All occur to be really bad. We all waited really long, than our children got their dishes and we needed to wait around 20-30 min more for ours, that was really unpleasant. Pizza - like from cheap super market pizza from freezer. Lasagne - more like tomato soup than lasagne. French fries - as if they were old and reheated for few times already. My wife shrimps also not the best. As always when you see so many items on the menu there is no specialisation. But probably because of that it was soo crowded. I went up to appeal their decision to not refund it and after a heated argument they eventually refunded it and told me never to return.   Me and my wife had a lovely bruschetta starters. Main course we had steak on the stone "Sirlion" and a ribeye on the grill. Both steaks were expectational quality and the rib eye was cooked like i asked "Medium rare" The owner was sitting on the next table he was rly nice with us all the time.   A fantastic restaurant with great service! The staff we're amazing, extremely polite and friendly. The food was amazing I got the grilled stake which was devine! My girlfriend got a pepperoni which was nice but the sauce was a bit sweet for her liking. Also one of the cheaper places for cocktails, €7.50 each which wasn't too bad We topped it off with the chocolate cake desert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.   Fantastic place, this was the second time we've visited. First time we had bruschetta and pizza which were delicious. This second time we brought friends for a table of 6. Service was excellent, lovely wait staff, great outdoor terrace if you can get a table there rather than indoors. They serve a range of dishes such as seafood, duck etc, we tried these instead of sticking with pizza, and everything we had was so tasty. The chef's special octopus was a highlight. They gave us a shot of port each for free at the end of the meal. Only one negative was that the sangria was a bit too sweet and a little expensive. Everything else very good for the price.   Disappointing. Ordered jalapeno bombs, they were cold inside. Ordered chicken from the specials of the day, and they brought steak, after waiting 10 minutes for the chicken, it came but we had ordered regular salad instead of coleslaw, but got coleslaw. When we got the bill they charged us the regular menu price for the chicken instead of the specials of the day price, 3€ more, when we questioned it they said they brought the regular menu size, thus the higher price.   This a tremendous restaurant I've been coming to albufeira for 15 years and this was my first visit. The staff were friendly, polite and professional and know let's get down to the important part. I consider myself a prawn lover and here I was treated to the best cooked prawns outside of Asia. The main course didn't dissapiont I opted for steake on a stone it was presented perfectly the only worry was I thought they'd given someone else's meat there was so much, it was frightening it was sesonned to perfection and the accompanying dishes were great. By the time I had finished my meal or was time to retire to my bed. I would like to thank all the staff for supplying a memorable birthday. On a sad note visitors are here for a short period and there's nothing worse than trying to find a good restaurant. We ordered 3 pizzas for takeaway, which were small, not baked well ( their dough was chewy ) and were overpriced, too ( pizza costs much less everywhere else in Albufeira ) . My first rating of 2 stars changed to 1 star thanks to my experience with them AFTER the first rating was given: due to the exceptional rudeness and impoliteness towards their customers, which can be seen clearly in the way, the restaurant reacted to my rating.   Omg, if there is a thing as heaven on Earth it is surrounded by this wonderful and delicious bolognese sauce. Homemade by Claudia, Authentic Italian meals prepared every single day, right here. You will fall in love with the pasta, the sauces, and if you know you know... The 🍕 pizza 🍕 is delicious as well. Arrive early 3pm time frame and meet Frederico and Claudia the owners. They will greet you with a smile and warm friendly greetings. Thiago (our server) was tremendous helping us with not only our Portuguese, but also helped me brush up on my Dutch.   I was in June 2021 during the Soccer Europe Championchip in Albufeira at the Restaurant Il Brigante. The Food was so amazing that we went there the next day again and the both Owner Federico and Claudia where really nice to us. At the end Federico gives me as a gift a Cigar to join it after the meal. If you are in Albufeira you have to join this nice place and food.   Great service from the moment we arrived, I use a walking stick and they helped me on the steps. The food was delicious we had bruschetta then lasagne for myself and linguine for my husband. Good wine house dry white nice and crisp. All the staff very friendly but with special thanks to Alina who came to my husbands rescue after a slash it tomato sauce on his shirt she brought a spray of something sprayed it on left a few minutes brush off and it was gone so thank you again, unfortunately we're going home but we'll be back as soon as possible. My linguini cadre was fabulous, all ingredients seemed fresh and full of flavor. House wines were priced at €15 a bottle which was more expensive than many other restaurants which I’ve visited in the algarve. Overall really enjoyed our meal.   Lovely restaurant with excellent food. We were looking for a cheap and gluten-free place to eat. This was suggested via TripAdvisor and it turned out to be excellent. The food was very delicious. The portions were the perfect size and it tasted wonderful. The drinks were very cheap. We had half a litre of beer for €3,30, so that was very nice. The waitresses were excellent as well, no complaints at all. Paying by card was available, which is always nice as a tourist.   Fabulous restaurant. We are there 3 times last week and each meal was fantastic . They made fresh gluten free pasta for my wife. The staff are very friendly and helpful.   went here last summer and liked it so much went back again and again .The food here was outstanding staff really friendly and will be going back there again this summer coming .
