  Lovely restaurant with terrace under trees and umbrellas to hide away from midday heat and still admire the beautiful sea just stone throw. Staff was friendly and quick, same like food and drinks. Didn't like the grilled squid as it was covered in ton of garlic. But that's personal taste.   An amazing evening @trescoroas1970 on Friday 25th August. We made a reservation at 6.30 p.m so we can see the sun set. I recommend parking a little up the road and walking down to the restaurant, as this can get a bit tight parking wise. We were served authentic Portuguese dishes and finished with a shot of Port!Thanks to Angelo and his amazing team for making our evening a memorable one.   ambience was amazing with sunset! really enjoyed this one. the food was okay but nothing special sadly.. we ordered a filet steak medium cooked and it was more than overcooked and dry. But i still recommend this restaurant. Maybe other dishes would be better served (i hope). Sangria and garlic bread were amazing.   Definitely a hidden gem! A short walk up the hill from old town you come to this lovely little restaurant with a view and nice outside dining area.   Went there 4 persons (2 couples). Very pour experiences. First, we have been asked to wait in the back room few minutes, time for the waiter to place us but it was like an oven, After 10 min and still no sign from the waiter, we had to ask him to place us inside. He said to us to take our time to order as they have a lot of customers inside. Then we indeed had to wait another 20 min before we manage to have someone taking our order. The food was ok but nothing crazy for the price. They made us pay the bread and the top water 3 euros ! The restaurant was like an oven...since they simply do not have air conditioner !   Had a beautiful lunch here. I wanted clams but they were unavailable so I went for mussels and octopus salad. Both were nicely presented, well-seasoned and fresh.   the most romantic spot here for sure. Large terrace over looking the sea, it’s a complete hidden gem situated in the small streets of albufeira amongst peoples homes, the food is definitely what I would call ‘boujie’, I had goats cheese and honey for a starter, definitely not your usual menu even for Portugal. Food was excellent, have heard mixed reviews about their food but I think people need to remember cod =salty and octopus= chewy to some extent before bashing a business.   We visited for dinner. The staff were all great, friendly and helpful. The outdoor seating area is amazing, it overlooks the sea and is very nice at sunset time (they offer a blanket if you are cold). We ordered the prawn pasta and codfish specialty, they were good.   We visited this restaurant on our holiday in Albufeira last week and I must say it was excellent. You have stunning views of the sea sitting out on their terrace area and the staff are all brilliant and very accommodating. We were initially going to be a table of 6 people and this quickly escalated to 23 when our whole family who were over for a wedding decided to join us too! This wasn't a problem at all for the staff and they quickly sorted the tables and chairs out and waited to us all incredibly. The food was delicious and you get a good variety on the menu.   Such a lovely spot for lunch with beautiful views of the sea! Very nice food and drinks, the red wine sangria was excellent. The Veal dish was one the best meat dishes I've ever had. It was quiet when we visited which made it a very nice and chilled lunch, which we were looking for! If you're not a fan of the busy tourist restaurants in the centre then this is a good place to try.   So we didn't actually get to eat here (we really wanted to) but let me just say that the owner is a gem! We got our car stuck in the super tight alley because there were some cars stuck ahead and we had to reverse out. He came out and actually got into the car to help us drive it out (we're american lol not used to the roads). So i can only imagine that the service is impeccable at this spot.   The food is extraordinary, local food sourced in local markets, excelente thoughtful staff. For sure the best place you could pick in downtown albufeira. Starters of stuffed mushrooms or roasted goat cheese were delicious! Tryed a tipical Portuguese dish the roadted octopus with sweet potato, that was amazing! The sangria was very balanced, fruity and cold for a warm night in the terrace with the ocean view. I would say the perfect place if you want a peaceful enjoyable evening.   Really lovely restaurant which is tucked away off the main streets. The view is just stunning. Excellent service and really good seafood. They were so kind to our bay daughter too and gave her a blanket as the evening got a little cooler. This is a brilliant option for a nice quiet evening out in Albufeira. There is nobody standing outside gesturing you in which for me is very attractive. Good vibe - do try and find it, it's worth a visit.   Based on the good reviews we had dinner here and ordered Octupus and Cod. The Location and service was really nice. In regards to food we were not very satisfied; the Octupus was not very well prepared (poorly seasoned and very tough). The cod was breaded and came with junk food sides (deep fried potatoes) which was not stated on the menu. That said and based on our experience in the area it seems fair to say that for what you get it is quite overpriced or with other words you get better (prepared) food for the same price elsewhere.   It's a picturesque restaurant, with amazing views to the ocean, from a well decorated terrace with fig, olive, pomegranate trees and flowery plants. The service is good, with really nice staff. To eat, I had one of their main specialties, the Octopus (à Lagareiro), recommended by one of waiters and it's was really good. The octopus was well cooked, tender and full of flavour. I've added a bit of olive oil and vinegar and taste was espetacular. To drink, I had a sangria and finished the lunch with a nice expresso with an Amarguinha with ice and lemon (Algarve's sweet Almond licor). I highly recommend this restaurant.   Wonderful experience in a beautiful restaurant with great staff. The terrace looks out over the sea, with figs, olives and pomegranates hanging overhead. The food was amazing. Between two visits, we tried the fish of the day (seabass), Portuguese steak, prawns and piri-piri honey chicken (my personal favourite).   Finding this little gem was a truly happy accident. We were lured in by the promise of genuine Portuguese cooking and a friendly atmosphere. All that was true, but also, the food and drinks were delicious. We ordered a jug of sparkling Sangria, made, at the table, with a full bottle of Prosecco. The jug sat in a bowl of ice, so as not to dilute the Sangria, and, as it was being mixed, we were told that the pink colour comes from the homemade strawberry puree that they add. Truly delicious! (He said that if we ordered a second bottle, he would open it with a Sabre, but we couldn't manage a second. My daughter ordered some cocktails, which she said were extremely tasty. The food is freshly cooked, and they make a point of telling you that none of it is frozen, all fresh ingredients. Between us, we had a selection of seafood, Golden Bream, Octopus, and Squid. I can't fault any of it. So delicious! The restaurant itself is simple and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Oh, and I mustn't forget about the free glass of local port before you leave. A truly enjoyable experience from beginning to end.   Found this absolute little gem on our way to another restaurant, the lovely guy outside enticed us inside promising real Portuguese food and a relaxed atmosphere and he was completely right! The food was sublime, the seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. I had the grilled squid, which was absolutely delicious.   The food is very very good . Great choices and the way its prepared with the spices and wine, just melts in your mouth. There was five of us and each one of or dishes were supreme.   Got a tip from my travel agency to eat here. It was good. Had the cataplan seadevil (included mixed sea food) which was really tasteful. My friend had the salmon which tasted also good but had some fish bones in it. The soup of the day was tasteless but it was not expensive. Prices were okay (not cheap and not expensive).   An awesome spot with the view, good service and prices. The local cocktail was loaded 👍 - we were a group of 6 (paid 120€ total with wine / cocktails / and main dishes only, no apps) had a great time. It gets chilly though so dress warm for that cold evening breeze. - the menu is loaded with meat / fish options but the salad selection is little. - the fries with piri-piri honey glazed chicken were not homemade. They need to beef up their side steamed veggies to compensate. The chicken was delicious. - the sirloin steak was good. A bit tough but it's what you expect from that cut. - the fish was fresh and the chef cleans the bones for easy consumption. Would come again to try more fish.   We stumbled across this restaurant on a walk along the upper shore whilst keeping an eye out for eating, a more traditional place with a good menu choice. The food was superb, the atmosphere friendly and personal, so much better than the cattle market of eateries down in the main tourist haunt, ideal for a good peaceful relaxing dinner with a sea view from the elevated outside table area (inside dinning also). reasonably busy but never had to book, but would recommend booking to guarantee to front tables over looking the sea. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Enjoy!
