  Don't know why I have not been here before because I should have already been lots of times. If you want an Italian restaurant that has a relaxing and fun atmosphere with fantastic knowledgeable waiter's and waitresses with amazing food then you need to dine here. The manager took the food order which he explained and helped me choose the food right for me. The sommelier Aleixo was brilliant and helped me choose a lovely Rosa which was local from the Algarve. There was other waiter's who served me which I don't have there names but were fantastic. This is a must vist Italian restaurant. Highly recommended.   Went here for a birthday dinner and wedding celebration, and had an absolute blast. Great wine, cocktails, and fish appetizer. The pasta and veal were absolutely delicious. The staff were great too! I wish I remembered the name of the server who recommended a great bottle of Portuguese wine. He also served us some cocktails out front since we were early for our reservation. His service made the night extra special!   We ate here on our first night in the Algarve and it was amazing! The restaurant is stunning, we received such a warm welcome and the food was authentic and beautiful. We had oysters, mushroom risotto, beef carpaccio, breaded veal and carbonara. It was all absolutely beautiful in taste and presentation, as was the wine. The service struck the perfect balance of being utterly professional and formal, whilst being fun and good humoured… which is not easy to achieve but the team (who seemed super close knit, which was lovely) got it just right. Special thanks to Miguel (in photo), Jorge, Sandra, Aleixo, Manuel, the chefs and all the staff who made this such a special and memorable evening.   If you are to eat in only one restaurant in Quinta Do Lago/Vilamoura area whilst in Portugal this is the place. On arrival you are greeted by the lovely host who brings you into the beautiful space they have created for you to dine in. Tastefully decorated throughout. The main host was fantastic, with great energy and attention to detail, he and his colleagues looked after us at every turn. The menu has a great selection. Our starters - the beef tartare special and the burrata salad - were phenomenal and the flavours were on point. Our mains - sirlion steak special (advise getting sides) cooked to perfection medium rare and the Tortellini with monkfish sauce was beautiful and so fresh. We shared the limoncello tiramisu for dessert- also fantastic. Complimentary limoncello shots from our main host which went down a treat. We followed dinner with one of the best espresso martinis we’ve had on this planet. I can’t remember the last 10/10 I gave but Limoni deserves it. This 10 is based off the other 12 restaurants we ate at each evening, Great ambiance,value for money & exceptional service. A Must!   Limoni serves exceptionally well made Italian food, from the pasta to the desserts. The parmigiana and seafood linguini were to die for!   Finally a real Italian restaurant! Absolutely fantastic and authentic menu. Delicious antipasti, a risotto presented in a Parmesan tuile and pasta with truffle that melts in the mouth. Cannoli for dessert which was exactly what was needed, a hit of sweetness with pistachio cream and candied fruits. Heaven! The staff are amazing.   We loved everything about this place. They have a talented bartender which makes his own cocktails (especially the one that’s infused with earl grey). The host and staff were an experience in themselves - a lot of energy and personally. That combined with great Italian food made our evening special.   Meu parceiro e eu fomos para Limoni na terça-feira. A entrada parece requintada e luxuosa, assim como as boas-vindas. Ouvir italiano falado no Algarve não é comum e depois de sermos escoltados até à mesa tivemos a oportunidade de conhecer quem mais tarde descobrimos ser o dono do lugar: Giuseppe. Giuseppe é a alma do lugar e você sente isso em cada detalhe do restaurante, ele cuida dos pedidos e garante que o jantar seja perfeito para cada cliente. Pedimos beringela à parmegiana, vitela com molho de atum, linguine de queijo e pimenta e ravióli caseiro com trufa. Acompanho com Valpolicella Ripasso. A parmegiana estava extraordinária, uma observação: cortei a porção ao meio para que ambos pudéssemos provar, não tive tempo de terminar a operação quando um garçom me trouxe uma colher e um garfo para ajudar a tudo correr bem, eu ficou de queixo caído, esse serviço é muito difícil de encontrar. A vitela com molho de atum estava excelente, mas quando provei a primeira mordida no cacio e pepe, fiquei com lágrimas nos olhos. Massa al dente perfeita e um ótimo creme. Os raviólis são bons (não gosto particularmente de trufas, mas meu parceiro gostou muito). Vemos uma costelinha milanesa passando e não podemos deixar de pedir. Como em casa, um poema. Vemos alguns profiterols caseiros passando mas não aguentamos, quem sabe na próxima!

  My family went to Limoni to celebrate an 80th Birthday. My son is autistic and can find new places, especially busy ones overwhelming. I have to say that we didn’t need to have worried about this - the staff (without any encouragement or info from us) made My Son and Daughter feel at home straight away and it quickly became their favourite place to be! The food was wonderful and atmosphere brilliant. My favourite dinner out since our kids came along, Thankyou Limoni!!!   restaurant is a MUST !!!! We ate twice here on our holiday , we loved it so much we were over the moon when Barbara could fit us in for our final evening on holiday. The whole experience is just wonderful , the greeting from Barbara at the front desk is so warm & entertaining ! Giuseppe is just amazing & funny.   What a wonderful evening with such incredible Italian food with the best local seafood. We were warmly welcomed by Barbara and it was so nice to meet Giuseppe who makes all his guests feel so welcome. We felt like family and we can’t wait to come back!   We waited an hour and a half for our food. No explanation as to why, no warning that the food would take so long. No offer of a free drink whilst we waited and waited. My wife had the pizza and he said it was okay but not great. We also could see from our seat the food being passed from the kitchen to the waiting staff. A lot of meals sat under the hot lamps for a long time before being taken out. I think they need better systems and processes in place and better supervision/staff training.   Below is my first review in Aug 2021, which I rated 3 🌟 I have rerated to 4 🌟 (Sept 22) based on a return visit where everything was excellent. Going again soon. Dined here with friends. It is new, few months old and we were looking forward to it. Met the owner and the staff were lovely. Decor is lovely. Menu is great and prices are in the upper quartile for the area. However it's hard to rate as we had 3 excellent meals spoiled by the 4th one. They did not charge us for that 4th one however it was a spoiler. He ordered the steak, medium. It came well done. They took it away and then nothing for 20 minutes while we ate ours. After asking a number of times, it arrived back well done again and not medium!   Amazing meal here for our wedding anniversary. The setting is lovely overlooking the pool area and the decor is very attractive with marble tables and beautiful bar. This is our second meal here and the new a la carte menu is very welcome as it allows you to enjoy a wide range of amazing dishes. I had the antipasto mixto for starter and the quality of the foccacio, cheeses and meats was as good as I have ever had anywhere... I had veal cheek for main course which was slowly cooked over 24 hours and melted in your mouth. Wines and cocktails were excellent. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful.
