  Went here with friends to watch a rugby match. Great atmosphere, and it was packed as Ireland was playing. Good Guinness and cocktails. Plenty of screens so everyone could easily see the rugby action. Very competent bar staff managed to keep up with demand no problem. Good fun.   Called in to check the place out and see how the place was before I decided to tell friends who were sat at another place wether to go. Look ok how ever can only give 4 star because wasn't a lot going on at the time so not really any atmosphere to speak about. The Staff were friendly drinks good price and it was clean.   It was our last stop before we got a taxi to our hotel. It was a 35 minute walk to Alvor and about a 6 minute taxi ride back.   Went on a quiet day and the bar itself is nice inside and I believe the owner may have been in and he seemed super friendly and welcoming which was nice to see. But they could be more visible with their pricing, I was a little taken aback by €10 for two Magners as the price wasn’t obvious and the barman was incredibly blunt too - no level of service or welcoming attitude, just said “ten” (literally that was all the conversation) whilst looking like he didn’t want to be there.   I normally avoid Irish bars on holidays but was drawn in here by the sound of good music. I had a 3 large Sagres - nice at €3.40 each. My wife's first drink was an Aperol Spritz - the Aperol and wine were measured out, or should I say rationed out, using a spirit measure into a glass with too much ice, for which we were charged a whopping €10.50 - for the worst Aperol Spritzer ever.   Third attempt to try and review this great bar. We visited for lunch/snack and went back in the evening. Great live music. A super young and very efficient barman ( he will go places) almost ran the bar. We were very impressed.
