  This is our go to Irish bar in Alvor. A fantastic place to relax and have fun during the day or in the evening. Made better this year by England beating Ireland by one point and winning 2 euros of Claire. But thanks for a great time and see you soon.   Went here on saturday for the six nations. Good atmosphere, beer was cold, staff attentive and good service. I understand that it's an irish pub but was disappointed at the lack of respect shown to the english national anthem before the game started. They turned it off.   Very friendly Irish bar with very friendly customers. Barman very efficient in a small very busy pub. If you purchased a bottle of beer there was a napkin placed on top for you to clean the neck of the bottle. Superb service 10 out of 10 all round.   A group of 4 of us visited but had to leave as a talented young lad was learning the electric guitar and loudly pinging out random sharp chords in practice. Whilst we encourage the confidence building and enjoyed listening to the lad play one of his tunes, the practice session went on for way too long, taking over the room & interupting the social environment for everyone. The staff were efficient & friendly & we think that even they had, had enough & in the end the only people that were impressed were his parents. We met others in 'The Church' bar that had decided to leave for the same reason. It seemed like a good bar and we otherwise would have stayed, on other occasions it probably has a great atmosphere with reasonable prices.   Staff are good but the bar is in bad need of an overhaul.
