  A miserable rainy night, we were two slightly downhearted and damp walkers with little expectation of anything other than a warm meal. Instead we were greeted with sunny service, a crackling fire, great local beers and dishes based on recipes shared by the owner’s Brazilian grandmother. Casa do Mar sem Fim has a whole lot of heart and the feijoada with black beans, chorizo and eye-watering chilli sauce is the dish that proves the point. A thoroughly cheering evening that we can highly recommend.   I had the Hell Boy burger and my partner had the squid skewer. We were both silent for most of the time whilst we were eating as it was so tasty, no time for talking! The service was great.   We stumbled upon this place after a full day of hiking and sightseeing and it was so perfect. I had the feijoada and my husband had the chicken- both were perfectly done and so flavorful.   We visited all the restaurants in Azoia and went to Casa do Mar sem Fim 2 times because it was the best!! No matter what we tasted - fish, burger, vegan+ libanese food, starters, fries - everything was extraordinary. The libanese Mezze was a highligt - all the other libanese dishes, too. The prices are very fair. Furthermore the staff was so lovely and friendly. We felt very welcome and well served. It's a family friendly restaurant, they have an extra menu for kids and some toys.   We visited Caso do Mar sem Fim today (5 March 2023) and we chose them as they have a variety of options on their menu (fish, meat and vegan). We had to wait 15-20min until a table was free but I am glad we did (we had no reservation)! The food was delicious, the service was quick and the people were super nice and friendly. The restaurant is also very child friendly, they have high chairs and a small small corner with toys for children to play with. Definitely a restaurant you should consider if you are in the area.   My husband has been wanting to go here because it has a 4.9 star review so we stopped here for lunch and were not disappointed! The Vegan Special was delicious and my hubby's Jalapeño burger was juicy and tender with delicious flavors.   We were driving along the coast on a cool evening and saw this place had good reviews. Stopped in and had a very enjoyable dinner. Creative decor sets a nice atmosphere along with friendly servers. We had the Kafta and the Feijoada. Both were fresh, full of flavor, and well prepared. The Kafta meat had excellent seasoning and a delicious side salad.   We have always had gorgeous food here and the staff are wonderful and welcoming. It's a beautifully decorated restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The burgers and ice cream tasting platter are outstanding as are the sardines and pretty much everything else we have tried! Not to be missed if you are anywhere nearby. The house wines are fabulous and everything is reasonably priced. They are very very child friendly and don't mind our dog sitting outside with us under the table.   Out of the many restaurants that were recommended casa do mar sem fin caught our attention and it was a blast. Both the mezze and the grilled octopus (huge portion, super soft) was a blast. Paired with the amazing house wine it was one of the best meals we had on our Portugal vacation. They have a lot of dessert options including a very tasty cheese cake.   I love this restaurante and I go there every time I get a chance. The fish is amazing, it’s even served without the spine (first time I see this in Portugal). The food has a home made feel and they care about the details. Everything is wonderful there, including the customer service. One time I was not feeling well and they even made me a tea with a plant they cultivate in their garden. They have serval desserts without sugar as well. The feijoada is excellent too.   After visting the stunning Ursa Beach, we went to the next town Azoia and tried this restaurant. What a good surprise! The Brazilian Feijoada is very interesting to us as well. In fact, it’s simple (beans and sausages), but well-combined with rice, fruits and vegetables. The red spicy sauce is strong, but very flavorful, so I enjoyed it a lot. The staff are nice, speak English and happy to help. Inside the restaurant, it’s bright and decorated peacefully. If you are in the area of Cabo da Roca or Ursa Beach, this restaurant will be a good choice!   What can I say other than GET THE PRAWNS! The fried prawns here are absolutely delicious. Incredibly crispy and flavor peels fried nicely and delicious prawn met within. The calamari is also excellent, and though it feels weird to say, my only complaint would be that the portions are almost too generous! We barely had room in our stomachs for our mains after ordering soup the two starters! The burgers here are also excellent and the fried fish filets were perfectly prepared. This restaurant was one of our favorite spots in Portugal and definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the Azóia, Cabo da Roca, or even Sintra areas. An absolutely fantastic meal.   I noticed this place on my drive to see the cliffs of Cabo da Roca and decided to stop for dinner on my way out. The owner, staff and their regular customers were very friendly. They are known for freshly made hamburger Patties, however my business trip was already filled with enough hamburgers and I chose the fish fillet for dinner. I was very good, and would order it again but I promised I’d try a burger if I come to Lisbon again. I was shocked that they were mostly empty, but that may be due to European’s later eating schedule (I was there at 6pm) and COVID’s damage to the economy.   It's difficult to put into words how our lunchtime sojourn unfolded but it was very memorable and when we eventually left the restaurant we felt that we had had a very special experience. If you are like my wife and I and are willing to go with the flow, ask questions and appreciate the effort the chief puts into every item on the menu then I don't think you will be disappointed. The restaurant doesn't look anything fancy from the outside but the attention to detail regarding the food and drinks is wonderful and is one of the reasons that we come to Portugal to find little gems like this.   We have been in Portugal close to two months and this remains our very favorite place. What can be said? The attention to detail, from the decorations to the local products that they sell is the sign of a couple that truly cares. The food is world class, with the standards of international cuisine knowledge, and the careful sourcing of local products combined. I was not surprised to hear the Chef is working towards a PhD in Philosophy because the vibe of this place shows a lot of depth. Thank you Thiago and Maia for making such a wonderful place!   My wife and me drove 30km to have lunch there, and we didn't regret at all. It's a very cosy family place with great hospitality and excellent service. During our vacation we have tried a bunch of grilled fish dishes all over Portugal, even Michelin star one, but this grilled see bass surpassed all of them. The variety of the menu is also great. Despite of the size of the fish, we could manage to eat some homemade ice cream, including vegan ones. If you drive to the coast, you must stop there for lunch or dinner! This place impressed me so much that I actually wanted to write a review. All the best and we'll come back on our next trip to Portugal!   Enthusiastically recommended! After a chilly and windy evening at the lighthouse of Cabo da Roca, my girlfriend and I decided to visit this special restaurant, and we are so glad we did! We started with the rustic potatoes, which were the tastiest, most pleasingly textured fried potatoes we had in Portugal. I ordered the Vegan Special. It uses the recipes of the manager's grandmother. The flavors were so interesting and subtle! Part of it was a pumpkin kibbeh, and I swear, I could eat that all day! I think this dish is unique to this restaurant. My girlfriend ordered the Lagareiro Octopus. The serving was generous to say the least, and again, the textures and flavors were intriguing and delightful. She was so happy! Overall, if there's an idea that tied together our meal, it was "comfort food," because this food was so wholesome and savory, it made us feel at home (if it were possible to enjoy such fine cooking at home!).
