  Food was amazing!! Definitely has excellent steaks. Steak (we had the ribeye tomahawk) was truly delicious 😋. Denise and Dan run this place and it's like a family.   Totally wonderful place. It is classical but at the same time inventive. Had a great cod dish and the dessert was papaya icecream something not like anything I had before and I will dream about it.   The restaurant is off the beaten track and hard to find but I’m glad we found it . My daughter and I both ordered steak which were perfectly cooked and served with amazing chips a lovely mustard honey sauce . The service and the owners were so lovely. Highly recommend this place .   Very quaint little restaurant. Decided to try based on reviews. Ordered the picanha. They came out with homemade sausages, hummus and bread. All were delicious. Steak came out with 2 different sauces to compliment the steak. One was a tomato, onion and vinegar. The other was a standard chimichurri. Both complimented the steak well. The steak was good on its own also, albeit a bit overdone. I ordered Med rare and it came out medium. I still enjoyed my meal and will stop in again the next time I am in town.   Steak had too much salt on it and quite chewy - I had better steak in this town. Also playing music, but turned down on request. Service was quite good , but had to remind for bill and decline dessert several times. We were only guests for dinner on Friday during the length of stay during the meal, while other places were crowded were seated inside which was quite stuffy and no windows were open.   Realmente a carne é saborosa, mas o que esperar em Portugal? País onde come-se muito bem em qualquer lugar. Para nós todo o resto não faz jus a carne que servem, acompanhamento pobre ( farofa, vinagrete, alface, batatas fritas congeladas em corte gourmet), querem que comente os preços praticados?? Deixo esta parte para pagares para veres... Uma casa para ingleses que estão habituados a comer mal e pagar demasiado.

  If more people knew this place existed, you'd struggle to get a table without booking well in advance. As much as I want to keep this place a secret, I just can't. The steak here is So good! My partner and I have been in quite a few times now but the owners/staff have always greeted us like old friends right from the start. You walk in through a small door off of a back street that you'd easily walk past if you didn't know better and into a restaurant that instantly feels like you've been invited into someone's home. The welcome is warm and genuine, you're seated quickly, waited on attentively but not overbearingly and other tables are not too close so whilst everyone is talking and having a good time, you don't feel like you're almost in their conversations as you often do in smaller restaurants. Everything about this place screams passion for what they do from the small but carefully chosen wine list that compliments the food perfectly to the way the staff talk about their produce when you ask what's good on the menu. I'd definitely recommend a visit to any fellow carnivores. Wonderful.   I was travelling without my partner exploring Portugal after a work trip and loving the place. Downside is dinner time eating alone can be uncomfortable particularly in holiday destinations like Cascais. The owners and staff recognised this (I told them haha) and made me feel instantly comfortable. The service was fast and friendly with some jokes dropped in along the way (do you want a glass or bottle of wine to share with your friends? My kind of humour). The steak was awesome quality perfectly cooked by the owner chef. I ended up having a couple of after dinner ports at the bar chatting with the owners and staff.
