  Iam a non smocker just went there after lanch about 16h to have a drink , the restaurant was almost empty and the guy was taking everyone to the outside , with the bad weather , saying that we couldn’t have a table inside , after asking , so we went outside with the bad weather and around smokers !   I never felt treated this badly by a waiter ever. We ordered the only vegan dish on the menu. It was a few florets of cauliflower on a tomato sauce and rice with a bit of corn in it. 15 euros for the dish! And in the menu it said it comes with sweet potato fries but we only realized this after we finished our plates. We talked to the waiter. He said they were out of sweet potatos. And then went on to say that we should have said something in the beginning, now nothing can be done. And he smiled in such a demeaning way, I got so angry. We confirmed that then the portion is just tiny and we didn't get a complete dish. He kept on smiling and confirmed. Didn't even offer a compensation.   Stumbled upon this place as it was the only one near the beach so basically our only option. It did not disappoint. Honestly some of the best Mexican I’ve had. Great views and atmosphere. Margherita’s were tasty but to be critical maybe just slightly watery. Overall a fantastic meal with refreshing cocktails. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll be back here for sure.   The classic tourist trap that is just becoming worst and worst every year. I know this place for 15y and the quality that once was not bad is now almost an insult. The place is very nicely decorated and its by the sea which add the extra charm - these two aspects are my first star. Margaritas are good and the price is not so bad for the quantity - this is my second star. The food is a joke, a TOTAL joke. This is the reason there are no other starts given to this place. Guacamole is a dark green liquid - obviously a canned option - tasteless. Can you imagine a Mexican restaurant where, at least, 70% of the dishes have avocado as an ingredient using anything other than a real avocado? The breaded shrimp taco were cold and tasted like oil. The Al pastor gringas were ok. The food was served not even 5min after ordering which, once it got served, justify the poor flavor - it was all prepared way before ordered. If you are vegetarian you have two appetizers and jalapeño potatoes to choose from. Overall, do come for a drink and to enjoy the atmosphere and the view but avoid the food - completely overpriced for the quality and, even thou I understand we also pay the place and view, the least is to serve fresh ingredients that are prepared when ordered.   Good atmosphere and the drinks are pretty good too , along with the staff, though the food is overpriced. I spent around 32,50 eurs along with 4 more people giving a total of 160+ eurs total and I didn't feel like the meal was that worth it. The food is good, don't take me wrong but I don't think it's good enough to justify it's high price.   Best pico de gallo I’ve ever had… super yummy margaritas… I wasn’t a fan of the chorizo quesadilla… loved the jalapeño poppers they were 10/10. We were too full to have dessert. Nice ambience & lighting. I had to physically move forward in my chair several times though to accommodate waiters walking past way too close to me which was annoying & unnecessary as there was plenty of room for them to get by normally. Also a couple of the waiters had a huge staring problem which they should work on… not good to make guests uncomfortable.   The service was good but the fajitas arrived cold with a meagre 2 tiny tortilla which was not enough for even a third of the meat. We had to ask for more and another 2 arrived which were charged at a further 1.60, while not much these were tiny and just felt rather an insult. The tortillas arrived in mangled plastic containers warning of their hot contents, they were at best luke warm. The black beans had clearly been sitting on the plate for quite some time to the point where they had dried up leaving an outline of where their hydrated prior outline once was. The meat was extremely oily and overall the experience one I would chose not to repeat.   I visited the restaurant on a Monday night, mostly because on Mondays they offer a margarita with your order. I had cauliflower tacos, guacamole and tried the new shrimp tacos. The guacamole tasted store bought, but it wasn’t bad. The shrimp tacos were good, but the cauliflower tacos were a huge disappointment. The desert was the La Bomba, which was alright, but I’m sure you can find better alternatives for the price.   Was thinking if I’d give 2 or 3 stars and I am amazed to see it as a 4 star review. Seems people don’t know good Mexican food. One word for this place, disappointment . Very good location service is ok and good decoration but then comes the food. Insipid or exaggerated In Flavor very far from an average Mexican place. The fajitas of meat and shrimps for example we couldn’t almost see the shrimp. And the margaritas, frozen ones, like from and industrial place! It’s a killer mood. 50 euros for 2. People forget in a restaurant good food is the main goal. Great potential but a disappointment. Hope they improve the quality until then for me its an one time bad experience.   Very lovely experience. Went with my family and was a great lunch. It's not a very cheap restaurant but its worth it. Different dishes and all were good.   As most reviews say - service is extremely slow. We had to ask for our starter after over 30 minutes wait, it turned out they had given our started to a different table by mistake . No apology for that was ever given. We had the kids with us and we had to chase them to bring the ice cream which is part of the kids menu. No apology either just the typical unfriendly “oh sim”. The reason I am giving 4 stars is due to the booking list procedure upon arrival of costumers, which seemed to me to be very confused and disorganized. I booked a table for 4 and when I arrived the staff couldn't find my table (booked table was already crossed on their notebook as my friends were already there). I looked everywhere and couldn't find them and the staff simply put me on a new table even though my friends were already there sat. It was confusing and I was expecting a bit more of an organized procedure. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend and I hope the booking list procedure has get better now.   I've been to some fairly bad imitation Mexican restaurants in my life. This is one of the worst. Not only is it not Mexican, it's simply bad food. The meat is dry and hard to get through. The chips and tortillas are stale. I think maybe they ran out of jalapenos. The margarita was essentially a slushie/melted syrup. The salsa and guac were a joke barely worth mentioning.   Tacos empanizados are the best. It's a little bit expensive (25€ per person but can be higher). The Margaritas are a problem. They're too good and you don't feel the alcohol coming. One jar gives you 4 cups. The strawberry one is the best in my opinion. You should definitely try this restaurant if you are near it and have the financial ability too.   I don't understand all the good ratings...here's my experience: you feel like you are not very welcome. Why? Waiters are very busy, don't smile, don't ask if everything is ok... Food is poor. The food seems primarily geared towards people who have had too much to drink and seems prepared without much in the way of care.   Terrible meal. It used to be great, returned there today and my God, how the mighty fall. The nachos (appetizer) - if we skip through the terrible aspect of the dish - came soft, absolutely not crunchy at all. The cheese were as artificial as it could be. Price? Slightly above 5 euros! Then the main course. If we were talking about a dish that cost 8 euros, in roulotte or fast food joint, it would be awesome. Here it costed above 16 euros and it was dull, with no seasoning and eventually just something you eat on a go. I don't need to go on as I will never return here specially with so many Mexican (real) restaurants we have in Lisbon. Avoid at all costs. Service, food, everything was just bad.   Literally the worst "Mexican food" I've ever had. I wanted to like this place. Nice decour, layout, live music, on the beach....but the food was a joke. Velvita cheese natchos with some green taste-less sauce, drinks with an ounce of booze in them and carnitas which was chunks of pork, not even shredded. I'm from the US, east coast, and we have Mexican cooked by Ukrainians, that blows the socks off this place. It's ok for families, but the prices are outrageous and food sucks. 67 euros for something my dog would not eat. You guys could do way better, simply by watching some YouTube videos.   Great location, nice decor, but unfortunately not great food. The only Mexican thing about this place was the jalapeños on everything and the decoration. Carnitas are cooked like Portuguese pork dishes with mayonnaise and lettuce, the guacamole is bland and the Tacos Locos are just wraps covered in melted cheddar with tasteless meat. The price is rather expensive for the quality of what you get. There are much better Mexican restaurants out there, and I CANNOT recommend this place. Service could be better, our table didn't get much attention and they brought one dish for the kids 10 minutes before all the other dishes came. This made it awkward for the kids, as one had his food and the other one didn't. When I made a recommendation to the staff to try and bring all the food together, he didn't take it very well, instead telling me that he thought the kids would share and didn't want them waiting (couldn't he just ask us instead of guessing?).   It used to be good but the service and the quality of food went down the drain. The only good thing is the view. In the last 2 times we have been there we found HAIRS on one of the plates. We thought the first time was just bad luck but two times in a row... TERRIBLE. Nas últimas 2 vezes que estivemos lá encontramos CABELOS em uma das placas. Achamos que a primeira vez foi apenas azar, mas duas vezes seguidas... TERRÍVEL. Nunca nunca mais

  A good enough Mexican restaurant to eat on but, on my opinion, the best is the view and also the margaritas (just order a pitcher). The service is not the best you will ever get and the food doses could be a little bigger. (Traduzido pelo Google) Um restaurante mexicano bom o suficiente para comer, mas, na minha opinião, o melhor é a vista e também as margaritas (basta pedir uma jarra). O serviço não é o melhor que você encontrará e as doses de comida podem ser um pouco maiores.
