  Not an Indian restaurant anymore. Very misleading. Please change accordingly. The new Asien Fusion restaurant offers Indian style food but in very bad quality in my opinion.   A wonderful restaurant. A little off the beaten track. The manager was lovely, very friendly and a great story-teller. I had the chicken pakora starter, delicious. We walked by and it smelled great but we already made plans to eat somewhere else . So we came back the next night and we were surprised on how good the food was .   Although off the main road, this restaurant is well worth a detour. Muhammed made us feel so welcome and the customer service, attention to detail and our satisfaction was his priority. The food was delicious, well cooked and well presented. We had the poppadoms, chutney tray, prawn pakora, chicken tikka for starters and then the chicken balti (which they made to my wife's request of more chilli and garlic). I had the prawn balti with a shared mushroom rice and garlic naan bread (yes, we were hungry!). We would highly recommend this Indian restaurant if you are in the Funchal area and it is definitely worth taking the detour off the main road.   This was the second indian restaurant that we tried in Funchal. I have to be honest the other place was slightly better due to ambiance and slightly better food and service.
