  Came here to find somewhere vegan in Lagos when we arrived, but honestly you should try here whether you're vegan or not! I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a meal so much.   O restaurante está localizado em uma rua tranquila e é muito aconchegante e bem decorado. A equipe é muito simpática. Demorou um pouco mais para conseguirmos nossa comida, mas isso foi comunicado de antemão. Os pratos foram preparados com muito carinho e a lasanha com berinjela e abobrinha em particular tinha um sabor excelente. A salada com falafel não foi nada espetacular; por exemplo, você poderia ter adicionado um molho (vegano) de iogurte e menta em vez do aioli. Os pimentões recheados também ficaram deliciosos, mas nada que eu não consiga fazer fácil e gostoso em casa. No geral, gostamos muito e foi uma ótima experiência, mas achamos um pouco caro (alface e pimentão cada um a 14,90 é um pouco demais).

  Worst restaurant experience ever. I was sat at 19h20. Order was taken at 19h45. I got the drink at 20h. I didn't see the starters before 20h10... And I took as time as possible to eat the starters because I saw how desperate were the other tables... The main dishes came at 20h45... Even the bill was a nightmare... I had to wait 10min to get it. No apologies there.... I was so desperate that I left the money on the table and left... It was so good I came back the next night & ordered the seitan salad, which was great too (they make their own seitan). I also ordered the mousse for dessert, which I preferred over the panna cotta.   WOW, that was an awesome experience! Got a table last minute and sat fairly close to our neighbours. But this was a minor thing because the food was a revelation.   Decided to try out the restaurant as I knew that they exclusively sold vegetarian and vegan food and I was not disappointed. I opted for the vegetable lasagne and it was amazing.   Absolutely sensational!! Basically everything on the menu was vegan and it was so delicious. We had the fried tempeh which was stunning and then shared the lasagne and the sriram medallions. Both dishes were packed full of flavour and the textures were perfect. Probably the best vegan food I’ve eaten in portugal and abroad overall. The service was super friendly and lovely - we booked in by popping in the night before but seemed like they had space for a couple of walk ins if you forget to book. Highly recommend!!   Lovely place, great range of vegetarian and vegan options. We had the "mixed cold entries" and it was wonderful. Falafels are super tasty, olives and veggies stew as well. Also ordered the Lasagna, it was ok, quite filling so I wouldn't advise ordering one per person if you already had entries (unless you're super hungry ofc). The chocolate mousse is crazy good.   We returned post C-19 and we were NOT disappointed. 18 months later and this establishment is going from strength to strength. Monika is the perfect example of how to run the front of house. Inviting, pleasant and interested. We hadn’t booked in advance, but Monika managed to facilitate us at short notice. The menu was varied and extensive. I opted for the Soya sweet/sour with perfectly cooked vegetables and a side of Basmati rice. Presentation was magnificent and brilliantly prepared by Monika’s husband who’s the head chef. We didn’t have a desert on this occasion as the main was quite substantial. We did have a couple of drinks and the measures were generous. The ambiance in this cosy establishment is brilliant and the toilet facilities are clean and well maintained. I recommend you book in advance to avoid any disappointment as this is the best dining experience in Lagos. I should point out that I’m not a vegetarian but I’d gladly dine here over any other restaurant in Lagos. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Brian. Ireland.   The first night in Lagos I came by to this restaurant with my partner. The menu is quite limited but all dishes seemed very appealing. We chose some baked potatoes as starter and the curry and a red pepper dish as main dishes (can't remember the name). The dishes were finely prepared in their aspect, equivalently the taste was something exquisite. I really enjoyed the curry which was accompanied with a nice portion of rice. The prices are above average for a portuguese restaurant, but I can justify it considering the touristy city and the the different type of menu they are offering.   I was sooo looking forward to this place. And especially the seitan steak. I’ve had seitan many times in restaurants and I’ve made it myself. I’m genuinely sorry to say this, but it was the worst seitan I ever had. It had the texture of toast bread and it was really bland. They grilled it, so it was also really dry. No juicy seitan steak at all..... The potatoes were okay but the sauce was also tasteless. We couldn’t finish it, it was not pleasant to eat. The green salad was amazing as well as the carrots.   Well what can I say, I wouldn’t even give it one star! We walked into the restaurant, we said to the waitress can we had a table for two, she goes sit wherever! Then we sat down looked at the menu and we decided on what we was going to have and drink. We waited 20minutes still not even been asked about a drink order. It was so good we actually wanted to come back a second night, but decided to go next door in the spirit of trying as many different places as possible.   This is one of the best vegetarian meals I’ve ever had. My husband and I got sangria, olives, mint water to start- I got the falafel meal and he ordered the lentil lasagna. We split a chocolate mousse dessert with raspberry sauce and holy cow everything was truly amazing. The service was awesome too, very friendly staff. Highly recommend.   When you dine here don't come with the mentality that you will be eating vegan or vegetarian food, know coming that you will be eating amazing food. We ordered 3 of the 5 main dishes and each was very good in it's own right. The only complaint I have is that they run out of food rather quickly. At 9pm they ran out of 2 of the dishes, which is why we only ordered 3. At 10pm they ran out of 4. They close at 10:30 so logistically it makes sense, however, I was disappointed to not get what I really wanted when I arrived at 9.
