  Unfortunately the food wasn't too great for me, had a table for 3 and others enjoyed their food. But my steak was a sinuey (not spelling that correctly) onion rings are very very small and not worth the extra cost. Staff were incredibly friendly onsite and i know steak is usually a lottery type of food.   I went in there with the expectations to eat dinner, but after the appetizer I decided to end my patronage there. I ordered the calamari appetizer and I literally received seven rings of calamari for 7 Euros. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty but I would have had to have spent 60 euros for me to be full as I was told the pasta was as stingy as the starters.   Food was hot and tasty. Service was fast, especially for Portugal. Red wine was warm :( Restaurant is on the second floor in a strip of restaurants on the marina. Nice view if you sit by the window. We were one of 2 tables and they sat us right next to another couple when a table was available by the window. Only 5 tables while we were there and it was loud!   The red wine was bitter and acidic bit staff were not able to remove it from the bill, the prawns were cold and have made me unwell, the spaghetti was to garlicky.   Very disappointing! The pizza menu looked great with sourdough pizza and great topping. Though the topping was good and new thinking, the dough was very bad! It tasted like a pizza you would have bought at the supermarket… Nice waiters, though we did also got some wrong orders… The portions isn’t the biggest, but that’s a general problem on this side of the marina.   Used to be a favourite on our holidays , thenumber 1 place we used to go to every year. Gone down hill this year unfortunately, menu downgraded and quality poor. Not really Italian anymore. Prawn starters v good , Bruschetta on stale bread, and Piri piri chicken swimming in oil and chips were tiny oil soaked. Came across as a cheap fast food meal.   Honestly its a great spot and wonderful views over the marina, but food wise we were waiting a bit to order, and then to get our meals, and even at that they were coming over with other tables food for us before we actually got ours. The food itself was good. Nice portions etc, but we skipped the desert as even getting coffee meant they went to another restaurant to get the coffees and even then they managed to get part of the order wrong.   Stopped in for lunch and ordered a Pizza Margherita and my partner ordered the Pizza Vegetariana. The Margherita was just basic with a pre-made crust and sauce that tasted pre-made as well. The cheese was fresh and good. Overall, not a bad pizza but not fresh either. The Pizza Vegetariana was much better with all the flavors on top. The food is basic. Only negatives were it was very hot ( perhaps having some fans to move the air around), and there was no wifi and no credit cards accepted.   We loved this restaurant last year but it's really gone down hill. They serve dishes that aren't as they appear on the menu (garlic bread that turned out to be stale plain baguette cut up). The chips are undercooked, the waiters are rude and they stop you as you leave claiming you haven't paid for a drink that they failed to add to the bill and make it out like it's your fault?! It has really gone down hill. Avoid at all costs and eat at other restaurants in the marina or in the town.   A good restaurant overlooking the marina. Dinner for 2 with no alcohol 45 Euro. Starter was a Cesar salad that was described as excellent. Rocket & spanish salad was good. Raveoli was very good and well prepared. The polo Piri Piri was too salty and tough. It appeared the chicken was cooked while frozen. Vegetable side was a modest salad. Sure they are veggies but normally I would not classify that as a vegetable side. Where are the potatoes, beans, spinach or carrots? Service was fast and efficient. I did not like the fact I could not pay by credit card only cash accepted. Its been like that for a while now. Overall a good impression but not outstanding.   Seemed like a good place to eat. Made reservation and came back the next night. Service was very poor. Had to keep asking for things like just being waited on. Food was ok. Will stick with Portuguese restaurants from now on. This was not an enjoyable experience and food was average at best! My wife’s seafood pasta tasted like the sauce was out of a jar.   Been here many times before and food has always been great! Last meal we had here wasn’t the best but thought we would try again tonight but it was even worse . Had lasagne which was basically a bowl of melted cheese, one overcooked sheet of pasta and tea spoon of mince! Mentioned to waitress but no response ! Went somewhere else for dessert !   Have to say I wasn’t sure about this place after reading the reviews but was told it had really improved so my wife and I met a couple of friends for lunch. First time there so no knowledge of past performance but everything we had was excellent and service was friendly and efficient. My wife’s lasagna was one of the best I’ve had in Portugal and my tortellini were also incredible! Will definitely eat here again!!   My wife and I had a good experience at this restaurant. We made reservations in the afternoon for 7.00 for a table by the window. We were promptly seated by the gentleman at our table and our order was taken right away by Daniella. She was efficient and polite. The bruschetta and wine arrived soon after and was lovely.   Honestly, who does this restaurant think it is? Asked for a table for 3 at 7.30pm on a Sunday night. Rudely asked by an old man if we had a reservation and when we said no he just turned us away. The place was half empty but I guess that if they can afford to turn away customers then they are the only business anywhere that hasn’t suffered recently. Went to an Indian restaurant instead. We ordered an Aperol Spritz- in the menu it was listed for 4€ in the end it costed 10€! You would get an original Aperol at the Marcus Square for this price, and it was mixed with orange juice so a real italian would shake his head! The best thing was that the owner himself acted like it was the most exclusive restaurant in lagos… Mamma mia 🤌🏻 never again! To end up with something positive, the pasta was way too soft, but… the lasagne tasted pretty delicious and the staff was (maybe a bit too) friendly.   I would not recommend going there - if it would be possible I would give zero stars! First they wanted to send us away because we didn’t have a reservation even though many tables were free. After asking whether we can sit outside they let us stay (the Terrass was almost empty). We waited almost 2 hours for our food. As a starter we ordered scallops - we got 3 Tiny little scallops in something like curry sauce with Chorizo (??). The pasta was very overcooked, the calamari had the consistency of rubber. All waiters didn’t know a thing and always had to rush inside to ask whenever we wanted to order something or had a question. For dessert we got a tiramisu and panna cotta. The panna cotta was fine but the tiramisu was covered in (definitely not self made) chocolate sauce (why??). When we got the bill we politely mentioned our very long wait and the overcooked pasta but the owner reacted in a very rude manner and told us to come back in winter since then it’s less crowded and also that without reservation we have no right to complain at all. He started a fight with us which we ended by leaving the place. We never had a situation like this in a restaurant.   I ate a pasta vongole here and honestly it was the worst pasta vongole I have ever eaten. The clams had not been washed at all, there was so much sand in them. When I told this to the waiter he started to defend himself that they receive the clams closed making it impossible to completely remove all the sand, he didn't even apologize? How can you work so close to the sea and not know how to prepare clams? I am not a professional cook but even I know that you have to soak shellfish for a considerable time so that they reopen and spit out the sand. I have never eaten clams whose insides were completely covered with sand (see photo). In addition, there was also a dead insect present.   Me and my Goose went here for dinner come evening. Beautiful view of rich old yachtsmen and they're teenage wife's enjoying the sun and the food was also beautiful. We would certainly recommend.   Really amazing and delicious food! Also a very upscale restaurant compared to the other Italian restaurants in the area but is around the same price which is great. Staff were really friendly and accommodating also. Beware, you do need to book or they may turn you away. I got there just when it had opened so it was fine. If you are in desperate need of sustenance I'm sure it will suffice, however if you are able to walk 5 minute further you will find an abundance of restaurants serving quality local food which will leave you feeling much more satisfied.   We went for dinner this evening May 23rd 2022. We didn’t have a reservation but they said we could sit outside. Happy to do so as we were 2 adults and 2 children. After our starter I took my daughter to the bathroom, there was no soap so I asked a staff member to which she replied “ oh yes we don’t have any” here is a wipe. Ya know the wipes you get after having chicken wings. I was horrified. Then we realised they were turning away customers who didn’t reserve. They tended to the people with reservations and we waited 1 hour for our mains. The white wine was warm. Food was actually decent but would never go back due to the service and terrible hygiene standards. There was one toilet on the premises.   Having read the reviews I was really looking forward to a meal here with my 83 year old father and 2 crew members after berthing in Lagos marina. Sadly all four of us were very disappointed with the quality of the food presented. My father had meatballs in a tomato sauce which were average at best, I had chicken cacciatore which was described as being cooked in a red wine and tomato based sauce, but actually was served in a bowl swamped in the same thick tomato sauce with not even a whiff of red wine that the meatballs were served in.......with several strings of spaghetti which was bizarre! One crew member had a pizza which was over cooked, dry and burnt round the edges and the other crew member ordered fillet steak medium rare which none of us believed was really fillet steak.....it looked anaemic and he also commented that it was less than average. After a 6 hour sail from Albufeira we didn’t have the energy to complain but we certainly won’t be visiting again. We’ll make the effort to cross the drawbridge into beautiful Lagos where there is a plethora of excellent restaurants to choose from.   Very nice meal. Ordered the meatballs and the dish was packed full of flavour. Meatballs themselves a smidge dry but it's a very minor criticism. Panacotta light and very tasty. Everyone else enjoyed their food too. Was around €65 in total for 3 adults and 1 child for two courses although we only had a soft drink each but still reasonable. If Google allowed it, I would have knocked my review down to 3.5 stars just because the deserts took a long time and we had a young child in tow.   It took over 45 minutes from sitting down at the table before we received our first drink. Another 15 before any food!! The restaurant seemed to be under staffed and unable to cope with a busy evening! Make sure you book a table in the high season as we wanted to eat there again, turned up at 6pm but was asked if we booked, which we hadn't and couldn't squeeze us in until 9pm.   Had to make a reservation, but worth the wait. The best food we've had during our holiday in Lagos. Particularly recommend their fillet steak and carbonara pasta. Lovely setting overlooking the marina, with friendly service from very helpful staff. It was an unexpectedly windy, chilly evening, but the staff distributed cosy fleece blankets to us ladies at outside tables, which was a thoughtful gesture. Very enjoyable evening.   Really nice restaurant. Looks kind off fancy, but it has a nice warm atmosphere. A nice view over the marina. Really friendly waitresses, with proper knowledge of the English language.
