  Arguably one of the best seafood restaurants in Lagos. However, in my opinion they are a good restaurant all around. We ordered the spicy lamb curry with rice and it was the absolutely best one we have had in Portugal. The staff were super helpful and made the dishes with proper spice levels as we had asked and it was truly delicious. The noodles were also well made with considerable amount of shrimps in it. The Prawn pakora was also well cooked. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good seafood or indian food.   A great experience is what I have each time that I go to Restaurant Pinhāo. I love the Nepalese food, especially Prawn Curry and Lamb Curry. The Nepalese staff is also super gentle, friendly and kind. I definitely recommend this restaurant in Lagos that is very close to the Pinhāo Beach.   A big smile greeted us on the street adjacent to the path to Praia do Pinhao ( Beach). I believe this friendly young man may be our server's brother. After a gorgeous day enjoying local beaches, we found this gem and will certainly be returning. Our server, Surya ,treated us like royalty. He and ( his brother?) were quick to find a location for our bikes, fill my water bottle with refreshing cold water and be patient while we got seated. They took care of so many details : folding our napkins, rearranging the table and offering assistance in such a non intrusive manner. The food was scrumptious. We shared a prawn pakora and each enjoyed the fish burger , salad , fries and coke . While we were seated a beautiful couple hesitated at the entrance. We told them how good the food was and to encourage them to go in. The man pointed to himself and said with such pride “ Katmandu , Nepal” and at that moment Surya came out and announced this couple were his parents. Warmth, kindness and respect radiate from this family. Mother and father’s names are Chandra and Tul. They were kind enough to permit a photo that sadly I cannot seem to include. This visit to their restaurant will be a highlight of my first trip to Europe. A strong regard for this family is not enough.   This is an unpretentious little restaurant just outside of Lagos’s old city walls. A mix of Portugese dishes and South Asian fare, with curries and noodle dishes. We had a chicken curry and a beef noodle dish for mains and ice cream and kulfi for dessert. They will prepare the curry dishes to your desired level of spiciness — but be cautious, the spiciest level is VERY hot. Best part of the restaurant is genuine, friendly service from the staff.   Don't be deceived by the sign outside the restaurant "Grill Fish and Burgers". They also have wonderful curry dishes and soups and the service is personal and outstanding. We have ordered the lamb curry, dourada, beef thai noodles and all were amazing. It's an infusion of Nepal, India, Portuguese with wonderful flavors and offered as mild, medium and hot spicy.   Very disappointing given the prior reviews. I took the salad (nice, very fresh) then the mixed fish (dry, overcooked, possibly frozen?). I specifically asked for no balsamic drizzled over the latter dish; but it arrived with it...how hard can it be? They took it away, brought it back 'cleaned'.....if I hadn't walked 25km today and had been more on point I'd have sent it straight back. I should have. Staff and owner were really friendly and prices are reasonable.   Our first time trying Nepalese cuisine so we ordered 3 out of the 4 daily specials and what a treat it was. The shrimp curry, mix noodle and chicken mo mo along with some fish pakoras were all excellent. A very enjoyable and memorable meal with wonderful service and hospitality.   The Fish Noodle caught my attention and did not disappoint with the “hot” being nice and tasty with a bit of a kick that did not overwhelm the taste. We also had the lamb curry as the daily special, “hot” was a good choice there too; with very creamy texture and the lamb was very tender. What really made this feel 5 Star was the waiter’s attention making us feel like they really appreciated us being there and based on their interactions with other people it seemed they liked to have conversations with their customers.   Hidden gem in Lagos. Especially if you like Nepalese / Indian food. We had a prawn curry, deep-fried marinated fish and the goat cheese plate. All three were legendarily good, especially the goat cheese with honey and pumpkin jam was something next level. The waiter was very sympathetic.   We liked this place enough to go back for a second meal. The prawn pakora with salad was lovely and the shrimp deep fried in a flour-based breading. Ask for the slightly spicy momo sauce instead of ketchup for dipping. On our first visit, my dinner companion had the curried veggies with medium spice while I had the curried prawns, mild spice. Both curries were delicious and perfectly spiced to our individual taste, and the prawns were wonderfully fresh and not overcooked. On the second night I had the shrimp pakora and cheese plate. The cheese plate was beautifully presented (as is all their food) but not to my taste. My companion had the robalo (sea bass - a delicate whitefish) with veggies and potatoes and pronounced it delicious.   What a great spot. The goat cheese with pumpkin jam was a great rich starter followed by prawns curry which the nice server asked if I wanted spicy, which I responded yes. Boy, spicy is spicy here. I should have gone medium if it was offered. The mixed fish platter was a winner, with octopus and tuna being knockouts. The 12 Euro Periquita red wine is another winner. The wonderful waiter from Nepal kept checking in me with my spicy curry and brought us a homemade mango coconut ice cream to cool my mouth down, on the house.   A large group of us were looking for a dinner option. We called about 30 minutes before (530pm) and asked if they could acoomidate us. The team could not have been nicer about it. They rearranged the tables for us before we arrived and had everything prepared. The food was very good and came out quick considering the number of people we had.   We visited here on our first day in Lagos. After having some not so great food in Lisbon this restaurant definitely delivered! We were served by Surya who was very friendly and checked in on us during our meal. We tried their goat cheese app, mixed seafood plate and prawn curry, and shared their pistachio kulfi for dessert.   Amazing restaurant! My wife had lunch here and brought me back for dinner as she claimed the prawn curry was the best she had ever had. I had it for dinner and it honestly was. Such beautiful flavours! She had the fish plate and it was exceptional, so fresh and flavourful. The staff were amazing and so accommodating for our 1 year old. The house wine was delicious. Going back there for lunch again today. Couldn't recommend enough. Well worth the short walk from the old town and nice to eat somewhere a bit more off the beaten track. You won't regret it.
