  Our group of 6 came in right at 5pm and got a spot inside but it filled up fast! The space gets cramped later in the evening. The Truffle Gorgonzola Pasta was the best dish in our group of 6, very very good! The loaded focaccia was also great, and the Bolognese and Italian salad good.   Wow what incredible food. The staff were amazing and suggested one of the specials which absolutely blew us away. Portions were huge so we took left overs home and had a delicious lunch the next day. I just wish we were staying here longer so we could have visited again. Definitely don’t miss this place out!   My wife previously lived in Italy and is quite frankly, notoriously difficult to please when it comes to Italian food, which always makes me a bit hesitant to get Italian when we're outside of Italy for fear that she may end up dissatisfied. With that being said, this place was really good and she left very pleased! We had the truffle and burrata pasta that was on special (sorry, don't recall the name) and the orecchiette alla sorrentina. Both were gigantic and very delicious. Wife also had an aperol spritz which was gigantic, the way they are in Italy. Everyone around us looked very pleased with their food. Would recommend!   After seeing some of the other reviews, I was expecting exceptional pasta. It was good, don’t get me wrong, I had the pasta with the arribiatta sauce and it was good but didn’t quite live up to expectations. The portions were huge, I wish we had know ahead of time because we could have easily split a pasta dish instead of both eating half a dish and having to waste the rest.   Another highly rated restaurant serving average food by bored wait staff. On the plus side, the cozy decor made me feel like I was seated in the dry pasta section of a small Italian grocery. We were seated then left (famished) for 10 minutes without a look or a menu. Then they forgot our appetizer, but thankfully agreed not to charge us for it. Plus, 5.50€ for a glass of house wine??   Although there was a bit of a queue to get a table (30-40 mins), they do offer a glass or two of prosecco while you wait, which is a nice gesture. Didn't take long for the food to be prepared and customer service was great. The presentation was fabulous and the food was just as scrumptious. Portions are generous and decent value for money. I had a starter, soft drink, main and dessert for €27 and still had half my main and dessert left, that i packed and took home. If you enjoy indulging in creamy and cheesy food, definitely give the pistachio burrata pasta a try.   Cute little spot in Old Town Lagos. I was skeptical about eating Italian while being in Portugal, but man it did NOT disappoint! I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was served with a huge chunk of delicious Parmesan cheese. It hit the spot 👌🏼 Couldn’t recommend this place enough!   As an Italian, I have to unfortunately say that this place is a TOURIST TRAP! They make their own pasta, which is of average quality, however this restaurant has a fast food concept, which is far away of what you would expect from a good Italian restaurant. I ordered the "Pasta alla crema di pistacchi" and what I got was a (poorly executed) Pesto sauce (!!!!!!??) with some Pistachio crumbles within 10 min or so. A DISASTER, it tasted dreadful. Moreover, it looks like they PRETEND to be full, when in fact when I got inside there were 3 empty tables, despite a line of people outside waiting to get in. So it looks like they use the common trick of bad restaurants "make it harder to get in and it will look like it is good", I fell into the trap, I hope you will not.   The food was good however I beleive it’s not worth the wait. At 6 when kitchen opens the place was already full and the line was huge I heard people being told to come back at 9 and it was only 6:30. So if you come ,come very early. The food was tasty don’t get me wrong , the portions where huge too. However I wouldn’t say it was any different to other Italian restaurants in Lagos. You may read people complaining about the wait time or the slow service and that's because it's very popular, my advice is to show up earlier than 6 to get a table , anything after and you're waiting 2 hours.   Would thoroughly recommend this place! It’s super busy and the system for getting a table was a bit confusing - they don’t take bookings so your best bet is showing up at 6pm ish (when they open for dinner) and get your name on the list. There was a bit of a wait (for us it was just over an hour for a group of 5) but it was definitely worth it. We also specified that we wanted to sit outside which could have increased the wait time, but it was nice to have the choice. All our dishes were amazing and arrived super fast, and there were very good vegetarian options, both on the specials board and the main menu.   We found this place by coincidence. Then we found out it was highly recommended by Trip Advisor. We stood in line for two hours on a Saturday night. While waiting the staff had to apologize for so many customers who were still flooding the place up to closing time. They are closed on Sundays and they close at 10 pm. The wait list process was super organized. They had a list in which customers added their names. The staff passed around some complimentary drinks for the people waiting, nice gesture!! We were happy to see the food was authentic Italian, delicious and worth the time waiting. The food we ordered was spaghetti basil and tomato sauce, taligatelle pesto sauce, orecchiette pasta with tomato and burrata. We loved our cheese and olives appetizers and focaccia.   We waited 3 hours and we still didn’t get a table. They expected us to wait on the street for hours for our table. We decided to go for a drink nearby while we waited, while one of us constantly walked over to the restaurant to check if table was ready. After 2 hours, all 6 of us went to the restaurant to wait . We were told we would be seated “soon”. We did have a party of 6 people which I know if difficult to accommodate, but smaller groups were seated ahead of us while we waited for the 3rd hour. We were told that our name was called but we were not there waiting. One of our friends was 6 months pregnant. We told the waitress this as she stood on the street waiting until 10.30pm, no seat for her. I asked her would be get a table or not as we were waiting since 7.30pm. She stormed off and asked the head chef to come out who shouted at us for having “no respect”. He shouted at us and humiliated us in front of his customers and people on the street. We left, disappointed, tired, hungry and upset. We went to the restaurant next door where we were welcomed with open arms at 10.45pm for dinner.   We waited for three hours, we were told every 5 minutes that we would get a table. We missed our spot which was arranged by a staff member calling our name. We went to another bar as we were told it would be an hour and a half. We came back every 30 minutes and we still had our name there. We were like sheep. We were very happy to wait 1.5 hours but it was the 2nd hour where we were told it would be “soon” and then still kept waiting. It was upsetting because we were led to believe the table would be in 5 minutes and then each time told there was no table for us. One of our group is 6 months pregnant and was waiting for three hours for a drink, food and a seat. We appreciate how hard it is to accommodate a bigger group in a small restaurant but we would have been happy to hear to go to another restaurant rather than give us “false hope” . Uma pessoa do nosso grupo está grávida de 6 meses e esperou três horas por uma bebida, comida e um assento. Compreendemos o quão difícil é acomodar um grupo maior em um restaurante pequeno, mas ficaríamos felizes em saber que iríamos a outro restaurante em vez de nos dar "falsa esperança" .   After having lived in Italy for a while I've become quite demanding when it comes to finding good, quality pasta where the proper ingredients (real guanciale, quality pecorino, pasta trafilata al bronzo, etc.) are used and the dishes are prepare following the rules of the art. Much to my surprise, I stumbled on this hidden gem in Lagos. They definitely know what they are doing here, it was so good that I ordered a second pasta dish and came back the day after!!!!   1) The resto is 12 tables. The service was extremely slow. Why? No bussers, no food runners. I had to flag a server down for the table beside us that was waiting 20 mins for the bill. Not ok. 2) The dinner arrives in a frying pan. It's not amusing. It's a pain for your servers and just looks ridiculous. Simple bowls would suffice. 3) The starters portions are mammoth. Be mindful of that. I can see this developing a ton of food waste. 4) My ravioli was drowning in butter. And came with a gigantic hunk of parmesan and a grater. I used a quarter of the hunk. More food waste. My partner's meal was under a sea of truffle sprinkles that overpowered the flavour of her dish. 5) Because the place doesn't turn over tables faster, it feels like you're eating in front of a hangry audience eyeing your dishes, drinks, and body language the entire time.   We went early to avoid the queue, from being sat it was 40 minutes before we were served and I had to go in a find someone to take our order. Then I had wine poured down me. Then when we asked for the bill we were there for another 20 minutes and I had to ask again. These things happen yes but it wasn’t busy. Maybe 15 tables and 3 waiters!   Excellent all around experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I only had to wait about 5 minutes. I knew it would be excellent when Italians were eating there, speaking Italian. The burrata, tomatoes and basil dish was light and fresh, using high quality olive oil. The pasta meals are huge, served in a metal pan like I’ve experienced in Italy. I had the arrabiata pasta. But we were not even 3 bites in when our main course was served.. so we had our starter at the same time as our main course.   What you would think would be an authentic italian restaurant turned out to be the scam of the summer. After waiting 1 hour in front of the restaurant, we ordered and received all the appetizers and meals at the exact same time. With confusion on their face, they were insulted we wanted to eat salads first, and pasta second, when we specifically requested this. I physically got up to get cutlery, napkins, plates, and then continued to get up to ask for our meal, which they kept drying in the oven, since it was prepared at the same time as our salad. The spaghetti tasted like alphaghettis, the service worse than horrible, and our waiter was not only absent, but non existent. Nobody cared, nobody came to see us, and I was extremely let down and worst of all, hungry. They DID NOT offer more drinks or dessert, I had to practically beg my waiter for service and another bottle of wine, and was overall a big 0. Save your time, do not go here. The only good thing was free Prosecco while we waited for the table , but even then, they cheated us on the amount.   I love the hospitality of this place. I went there just for dessert in the evening and could sit down with a huge (and quite delicious) tiramisu. The next day, we wanted some sandwiches to take away and we were actually invited to sit down at a table because the sandwich is quite huge. They are huge, but most of all, they are DELICIOUS.   I'm giving Pomo two stars because of the terrible and rude service. We waited in line more than half an hour. No one would acknowledge our presence or even let us know how long the wait would be or if it was too late for the day. After being seated, we waited another half an hour to order food. Kept flagging someone and saying "we are ready to order" they just kept nodding and not taking the order. After finally ordering we waited 40mins for them to just bring out some olives, crackers and cheese. It was so late it arrived at the same time as the mains. They are also meant to be a deli/ food store. I asked if I could buy some fresh cheese, olives etc -, they said only during the day and wouldn't sell it because it was evening after our dinner. Went back the next day at 2pm to buy produce - was once again ignored and finally after asking for assistance she just said, come back at 5pm to buy some cheese. The service is terrible and makes the food experience very bad. The food itself is delicious - but unfortunately I do not have the patience to put up with being treated so poorly. Eles também devem ser uma delicatessen/loja de alimentos. Perguntei se poderia comprar queijo fresco, azeitonas etc -, disseram que só durante o dia e não venderiam porque já era noite depois do jantar. Voltei no dia seguinte às 14h para comprar produtos - foi mais uma vez ignorada e finalmente depois de pedir ajuda ela apenas disse, volte às 17h para comprar um pouco de queijo. O serviço é péssimo e torna a experiência alimentar muito ruim. A comida em si é deliciosa - mas infelizmente não tenho paciência para aguentar ser tratada tão mal.

  We had to queue a bit outside to get a table, because the pastas are so good that everybody wants to eat here ! While queuing we could get a glass a prosecco for free, which is a nice attention. I took the bolognese and my partner took the pasta truffle/Gorgonzola, and we absolutely loved it! Absolutely delicious pastas ! The atmosphere in the restaurant is really authentic and beautiful!   I had this recommended to me many times so I was very excited to try it out! The food itself was amazing - everything tasted fresh and was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had. The burrata was incredibly soft and delicious. The service, however, could’ve been better. It was a quiet Monday night, there weren’t many people sitting inside or outside but I had to wait at least 15 minutes before I could place my order. The food didn’t take that long to get there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant because of the food, but just be aware that you might have to wait a bit longer especially on busy nights.   It happened to stay around this cozy corner restaurant and we decided to check it out. It is so warm, typical, lovely! You get proper Italian vibes, it is not in the main touristic area but still in the city center and it is absolutely worth it!   We've been walking up and down the Enfante de Sagres for years now and noticed how popular this little restaurant is in the evenings so we thought we'd give it a go. We had a starter to share but there was easily enough for two, an Italian bruschetta style bread coated with an amazing spread with lots of lovely italian ham's, salami's, sun dried tomatoes, some of the nicest mozzarella I've ever tasted and garnish. We were so full after it we couldn't finish our main course, I had lasagne cooked to perfection and my partner had penne served in a saucepan (there was easily enough for 2 people possibly 3) in a lovely chilli and tomato sauce. We asked if they could box the leftovers for us and they did. My only one criticism is that my lasagne was served on piece of slate which subsequently extracted all the heat out the food, nothing major by any means but I like my hot food to be just that, hot. If they're looking for feedback then I would say make the portions smaller, you can easily get away with it. We definitely be visiting again.   We think it's a touri trap. The good reviews are either from tourist with rose tinted glasses or people who go there for instagram. The food is presented nicely, good for taking photos but it taste only decent. The portions are big but the price tag is as well.   Good simple food after we had a huge seafood feast for lunch. We got there shortly after 7 and didn't really have to wait. The service was a bit strange, at one point the waitress was telling us they only had one cook in the kitchen so they were only making pasta that night, and at another point the same waitress was discussing salad options with our neighboring table??? That aside, the food was good and portion size was great. I had the special which is tagliatelle with truffle and a very generous ball of burrata cheese in the middle. It was great!   I loved this restaurant for the fact that the aesthetics was one of true beauty. It is a tight restaurant that always seems to have a wait list (because it is that good). The food was delicious and filling. My wife and I enjoyed the experience after our 45 minute wait time to get in. My only point of contention was the relaxed services. I attribute this more to the Portuguese culture where everything seems very relaxed, but after we were given our table, it took some time for the servers to get our orders, bring out the food, and the bill for us to pay. Besides that, the staff members were courteous and helpful for the most part. The food is a 12/10, the restaurant space is a 12/10, but the wait time and relaxed pace overall was a 6/10 for me. It was sooo worth the wait, the staff were lovely and the food was beautiful, I went for the Pesto Pasta and boyfriend went for the Lasagne, both gorgeous & was one of our favourite meals of the holiday!   Number 1 Italian spot in Lagos on trip advisor but I would have to kindly disagree!! The place is gorgeous, really rustic Italian feel to it, staff were all super helpful and attentive! If you dont like pasta al-dente make surw to ask them to cook it a little longer!! Food was presented amazingly as you can see from the pictures but it lacked the oomph I was expecting for the Number 1 spot!! I could honestly make comparible food at home however it might have just been the dishes we got as I could see everyone else thoroughly enjoying their food! For one I got the amatriciana(I think) with pork cheek and there was maybe 2 or 3 pieces of pork in it, otherwise the sauce was delicious and the pasta cooked q little al-dente for my liking it needed another 30 seconds in the water..came presented beautifully in the pan the cook it in! My partner ordered the Orecciette Alla Sorrentina with Burratta..again presented amazingly but the sauce was missing something and the pasta was even more al-dente than mine! All in all I would go again to give them a chance at redeeming themselves but I would try the lasagne and al forno dishes as they just looked much better!! We politely asked the staff to check on our food after waiting for 1 hour and having no staff check on us and still never received anything until 10:30.   Food five stars. Everything else knocks this down to a two star. This place is kind of chaos. Staff and manager were rude on arrival. They overbooked the reservations had way more people than seats available. I don't know why a restaurant would do this. Also you had to specify your reservation where you wanted insider or outside they made it clear distinction that all reservations were outside. Another table beside us waited an hour and a half for pasta. They forgot to order the food and then when the customer asked about it they lied and said that it got lost on the floor. The manager didn't do anything except for drinking Aperol spritzes. The waitresses were nice but they were inattentive and it took them 30 minutes to bring your bill. This is a genuinely lovely little business and it couldn’t be more different to the dozens of restaurants catering for the tourists which this does not.   Amazing food, the pasta is organic and incredible - much better than what you'll find in many other restaurants. The quality is similar to what you would expect to find in Italy from a family owned restaurant, I can only compare it to three or four places in Italy I've eaten at and I've been to hundreds all over the country. I can also say luxury/high end restaurants in London don't compare for freshness. Now if they only made pizza too! The portions are big, very well priced and the staff are just happy people - love to talk with you (if you want to know more) and make you feel at home.   This restaurant is amazing! The staff is great and they truly understand celiacs. They cook all food separately and are very knowledgable about cross contamination and making sure everything is gluten free. The gluten free chocolate cake is the best I've had.   Fantastic place to eat in Lagos. A large variety of pastas to choose from (some unusual and different) and the Italian staff member who took our order was very helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant is decorated very well, with lovely touches such as each table having a different sculpted model of one of the pasta shapes they sell.
