  Spent a week recently in Logos and it rained most of the week ! However not all bad as we had to shelter a lot and this was our go to bar.   We had excellent burgers, and the French fries in Europe beat the pants off of many restaurants in the US, and these were outstanding. Service was also excellent, our very charming servers were fast, fun, and very fluent in English, like most were in Portugal. Beer menu was great, I had the blonde ale and it was so satisfying! I highly recommend Beer & Co Lagos, you will not be disappointed.   Was super excited to try this place as the selection of beer looked great and had a fab atmosphere. We were looking at the selection of beers through the fridge, one was sideways so couldn’t see what it was. My partner opened the fridge to turn the can around so he could read the label and one of the people that worked there stormed over and exclaimed ‘you cannot open the fridge you must ask me!’ The attitude was just a bit uncalled for, might be an idea to put a sign on the fridge to say ‘do not touch’. In reality I can’t imagine asking someone to come over just to turn a can of beer round, just all a bit weird and made us feel unnecessarily uncomfortable. It’s not like we’re a big group of unruly people, just a couple wanting to enjoy a drink. We ended up walking out and not drinking here due to her being a bit aggressive when talking to us, there’s a nice way to go about it and that wasn’t it.   Well positive first, the caiprioska's were good. Good big screen TVs and surround sound for the sport. Peoples food looked good. But after asking two different staff members if you are showing the rugby and replying yes, don't say you are going to show a rugby game and at half time put on a live act and turn off the sound. I'm sure if that was a football game there would of been a riot. There are plenty of other bars that have the game and we could of gone there if you had made it known.   I went here a few times when I was staying just outside Lagos (Atalaia) last week. They do a great variety of beers with a taster menu of three for €9 which is an excellent way to decide which one you like best. Fab place to watch the football and the staff are so friendly and brilliant at their job, particularly the lovely Tania. A must visit place if you're in Lagos Old Town 😀.   My parents attended wood stock and to this day they speak about this cultural significant event. I always remembered this story and went through life feeling like something was missing like a Kardashian without a boyfriend from the NBA. I found myself in a graduation trip in Lagos but what can I say I didn’t feel real satisfaction , life was going by fast but with nothing really to show for… Then I enter a bar called beer & co and sat down and ordered a Moskva mule. While I was sipping on my drink a singer with a guitar started singing Wonder wall. All of a sudden I started seeing color again as this golden deity continue to sing.   We popped in for a bite to eat and a few drinks here yesterday. The staff were very welcoming, we got a couple of burgers, a BBQ and a feta cheese or goats cheese, both were very tasty. I got a tasting tray of craft beers and one nice pasty stout from the fridge which was decent.   Probably a nice place to just hang out with friends and have a beer, but there is not so much choice of beer if you call it “Beer&Co”. This is definitely not the place to eat! Food was not good, they use frozen meat for their hamburgers, any normal person who eats quality food will know something is off with their meat. The nachos was a disaster, is it nachos at all? It’s not, it’s just tasteless chips with sauce on the side. Other dishes from their menu were of the same quality.   Understanding this is probably a review within the first weeks of opening, there are some really great things about Beer &Co. Cute location on a side street in town. Great sports events. Great selection of beer. We had great burgers here that were truly great although the serving of fries was extremely small. Good but small. Maybe serve in the basket without the paper to fit a few more. Service is good . Some servers more attentive then others but again, they are new. On a second trip we stopped by for wine and nachos. Great house wine. It had a really great taste. Skip the nachos until they figure out how to make nachos or don't bother. Eight euros for a small plate of chips with some onion, cheese whiz and a little sour cream and guacamole on the side. It really needs an upgrade or a huge price cut. Overall, I think there is potential here but a bit of a way to go for a 5 star rating.
