  The best fish I've had in all of Portugal. Sandwiches have a contemporary twist to an otherwise traditional Algarve dish. Owner is extremely kind as well.   I was hoping for a little better. The bread seemed over toasted, or too much of it. I was too busy eating bread and not really tasting the octopus inside. And the octopus was pretty rubber like when I did find it in there. Presentation was nice and the chips were amazing with the type of salt they use.   Everything on their menu is available either as a burger version or a tapas version. We were intrigued by several of the dishes so we opted to order one burger and 3 dishes as tapas. They delivered with the flavours (exactly as described). I was especially impressed by the espresso powder in the shrimp.   The mash potato in the tapas and burgers really elevated the dishes. The prawn with mash potato tapas was our favourite, while the sardine tapas was our least favourite. It’s a self service and order at the counter set up, so it functions more like a fast food place rather than a restaurant. Friendly service from the owner, even if they don’t open exactly at 12.30pm. There was a crowd already waiting outside at 12.30 on a Saturday but thankfully there were enough seats for everyone by the time the tables and chairs were set up around 12.45pm.   I recently visited “Eattico” and had an amazing time. The sandwiches I ordered, one with octopus and the other with shrimps, were simply outstanding. The bread was fresh and had a delightful crunch to it. The french fries was also fabulous.The restaurant itself had a cute and clean ambiance, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Fries were quite good, too, but for the complete 10/10 excellence I would recommend making your own house sauce to go with fries instead of Heinz.   Interesting place with something different than what you usually find in Portugal. Had two tapas: roasted shrimp and fried sardines plus fries. Fried sardines were very interesting and delicious combination, shrimps perfectly cooked. Tapas are very small, but are something special.   Sad to leave a 3-star review after reading all the other excellent reviews, but our experience was not that great for two reasons. We ordered 2 boxes of fish & chips. On the plus side, *most of the fish was very tender, flaky, and had nice flavor of fresh fish (unlike the fishy cod flavor you often find in Portugal). The batter is also very light, making it a “healthier” version of fried fish. However, some of the pieces of fish seemed to be just barely cooked enough, and one particularly thick cut of fish was still raw in the center. We couldn’t even tear it apart, it would’ve required a knife to cut through. So that piece was inedible. The other negative thing is that the chips/fries were not freshly prepared and hardly warm. To end on a positive note, the prices are reasonable and the restaurant is cute and clean with a small outdoor patio on an unbusy street. It probably deserves 3.5 stars but I want to draw attention to the owner about the raw fish issue. With some small changes, this could be a fantastic restaurant! If i had to pick one I would go for the shrimp with hummus I know it's sounds different and it was, in a good way.   Hidden gem in one of the alleys near to the heart of Lagos old-town. Traditional Italian sandwiches with carefully selected ingredients. Healthy and delicious. Only thing is that they are very pricy for Portuguese standards with €10 per sandwich. I would come back though. The only "contra" thing was the A/C blowing in my back when I sat outside. Tried different dishes and all of them were super fresh. Especially happy with the taste palette of the octopus sandwich!
