  We didn't have a good experience. Asked for some recommendations and the waiter asked me to look at the menu. He did tell me in the end what to take and since we had kids we ordered some fries first but these just looked like warmed up and not fried on order and didn't look like fries at all. The waiter seemed quite annoyed as I didn't order food and asked for the menu cards as back. I then ordered a fish dish once the kids were settled and it wasn't worth the money paid for it had some grit and didn't taste fresh. (Traduzido pelo Google) Não tivemos uma boa experiência.   1. The outdoor heating was great even it was a windy night. 2. The cold plate was good too, we came at 10pm and we could still get refills. 3. The service we would given was also wonderful, the waiter were very kind especially Rakesh :) probably not the best in the world but definitely worth 5star for the night. (Traduzido pelo Google) 1.   We had a wonderful experience here! We had ordered the seafood platter for two, as well as the goose barnacles. The food was AMAZING!!! Our sever Rakesh was also AMAZING. He was very attentive, and made our already delicious dinner even more memorable with his excellent service. I would highly recommend anybody that visits Lisbon to stop by!!   Went at around 5pm, wasn't busy at all but the people serving us were an absolute delight. Thank you Rakesh for being so kind and helpful as we were ordering.   This was my first time seeing an octopus swim in oil and burnt garlic! Didn’t know it was biologically possible. I guess you learn something new every day. Would recommend the octopus for someone who’s allergic to salt or basic seasoning. Jokes aside, the octopus was not really great, it didn’t have any flavor, but the steak was really tender and delicious, as well as the fries. Good service and environment, the food not so good.   We visited Baia do Peixe today with 6 adults and 3 Kids under 2 and were welcomed very friendly. There were enough Highchairs for the kids so that there were able to sit at the table properly. Rachana took good care of us and was very friendly and polite. She made sure we and the kids had a good time and even took the time to explain the menu properly. We surely will be coming back again!   Absolutely amazing. The food was impressive, but I was definitely more impressed by the friendliness, courtesy and attentiveness of the staff. We were a party of 10 people who booked a table relatively late on Easter Sunday, but we were still warmly welcomed. We sat outside for dinner and although it started raining, the waiters did their best to make us feel at home (one even moved our luggages so it couldn't get rained on, helped with taking some family pictures and swapped our plates regularly). One family member of ours has got some dietary issues and yet they were extremely patient and helpful explaining their menu and asking us a while later if everything was alright. I have no words.   This was such a pleasant experience. We hopped in to get out of the rain, and we found a hidden gem. The food, service and view were fantastic. We were greeted with warm bread, garlic olives, cheese and tuna spread. Two glasses of green wine. Then garlic prawns (enough for 3-4 people), mussels and the amazing shrimp and clam pasta.   Seldom leave comments on Google but this restaurant gave us the worst dining experience out of all meals we had in Lisbon. Sorry that did not even took a photo because of such bad experience. When we sat in and looked at the menu, we were unsure if the 34.xx seafood offered fish. I understand it was all written on the menu but we just wanted to be sure so we asked the waiter. But he appeared to be annoyed and simply told us this is Portuguese, English and Spanish. We did not receive an affirmative answer. Anyhow, this is not the most terrible thing. We ordered the 34.xx seafood set (two people so ~70), a soup and a bottle of sparkling water. The fish soup was fine. The seafood was not fresh at all and there was no oyster on that day. The crabs were tasteless and the shrimps were not good as well. The seafood set does not worth that money in terms of quality and you can definitely find a better place in Lisbon. At least, it is not recommended to order the seafood set in this restaurant. The experience made us realize this is a typical place of earning easy tourist money because of its easy acces location. Believe me, the experience we had in other dining places in Lisbon was far better than this place, in terms of service, price and food quality. O conjunto de marisco não vale esse dinheiro em termos de qualidade e pode definitivamente encontrar um lugar melhor em Lisboa. Pelo menos, não é recomendado pedir os frutos do mar deste restaurante. A experiência fez-nos perceber que este é um local típico de ganhar dinheiro turístico fácil devido à sua localização de fácil acesso. Acredite, a experiência que tivemos noutros restaurantes de Lisboa foi muito melhor do que este, em termos de serviço, preço e qualidade da comida.

  Not sure why this place is so highly rated. I arrived just after the grill was closed, so I was only able to order the shrimp linguine and fish soup. It was average. Nothing special and portion of pasta was small with tiny pieces of shrimp. The location is great, so that must be why this restaurant is so popular.   Tourist trap. The only nice thing about this restaurant is it's location. The food is not made well for a specialized restaurant: srinl and prawns were dry, clamps were undercooked, the fish was bland. The service was horrible. The waiter put down the bread and only after we started eating it told us that we had to pay for EACH piece and for each little packet of butter. Didn't even give us the dessert that was a part of the all you can eat. The bill had items we did not even see on the table like olives and when we ask the waiter about all she did was smirk and walk away to "change it" and brought back the same exact bill expecting us not to check it over again.   We arrived without a reservation, but were seated straight away and made to feel welcome. The wonderful Rachana explained the menu options to us and looked after us throughout the meal. We both had the rodizio of fish, and what a feast it was - five different fish, plus squid, all amazingly fresh and grilled to perfection, plus an excellent fish soup to start and salads and new potatoes to accompany. We barely had room for dessert, but managed find space for a delicious coconut confection (me) and the best cheesecake (Mrs) of the three that she had tasted during our stay in Lisbon. The price was very fair for the quality and quantity of food, especially given the atmospheric location and the excellent service from the aforementioned Rachana and her colleagues. We arrived at Baia do Peixe and the sun was there from the beginning. This place is an oasis of delicacy. The fish is so fresh, just don’t forget to add olive oil and salt. Try the Percebes if you don’t know. And keep talking to the staff full of ressources and recommendations.   Not bad given the touristy location. For a restaurant of this caliber a bit odd they serve butter in little plastic containers and salt and pepper in little paper baggies, it really does kill the effect. Does the management have something against salt and pepper grinders? Or do they just like to produce a heap of garbage on the table …? Strange choices.   The food is fine except the mussels are quite dry and the clams are too salty. The Seafood overall is fine However, there was an employee that came and asked us to order drinks, and insisted that this is normal. We had actually good grilled octopus but could easily have shared @ 2…..soup was good and salad was good but basic. overall the staff seemed to really try.   Food is not bad, but menu is VERY complicated to read. It is not clear at all what are you getting when it comes to fish choices. They list two fish names under one line with price per kilo, but you only get one.. and, it is whole fish, so you basically won't know upfront the final size of it so it is hard to choose your other entrees or appetizers in case you do not have infinite stomach. Not clear what sides fish comes with. Upon ordering, they said they didn't have sardines, which we bet on to come here in a first place. Servers are somewhat impatient and rude.   My wife and I picked this restaurant based on reviews, and those reviews were spot on. The manager/owner met us at the door, and led us upstairs to a beautiful table that sat under a brick arch. The fish and shrimp were cook and seasoned to perfection. Even the water was delicious, but the best thing about this experience was the price. This was a 5 Star meal and for the wife and I it was under 70€.   This is the first seafood restaurant we went to in Lisbon, we didn't know what to expect. Overall, the dishes are a little bit on the salty side but still tasty. As usual, water costs more than a glass of wine. Giving this restaurant 2 stars for the following reasons. 1) The waitress gave us bread, butter, and olives without us ordering. In the end, we got billed for 2.95 euro for butter (each person), 3.50 euro for bread and 4 euro for olives. 2) The seafood platter that we ordered supposed to have barnacles (a rare and expensive shellfish) but they didn't have it and didn't tell us until we asked them. If we didn't ask, we would have been ripped off by them. The restaurant gave us shrimps instead.   I am glad that I chose this place for our 2nd night dinner at Lisbon. The staffs are very friendly and delicate to our concerns. We ordered the fish set menu for €30pp, it was abysmal. We weren’t too hungry and thought one portion would be plenty but the waiter insisted that wouldn’t be enough food so we got two portions - it could have easily served six people.   Short review: Don’t expect the fish to be as fresh as they advertise. Service is slow, even when there’s nobody there. Long review: It started out fine; after waiting an initial 10 minutes to look through the menu, I was able to order my food and drink. They came pretty fast, within 5 minutes with the soup and wine. After I finished, it was soon afterwards that they came with the main entree, the salmon. The fish soup was great, I’d recommend it for a light start. As for the grilled salmon, I would not recommend. The sides were bland and forgettable, and the fish itself had very little flavor. After I finished, what was odd was that it took forever for the waitress to come by and grab my plate, and when she asked if I wanted anything else like dessert, I said “no thank you” and then asked for the bill. I then waited 20 minutes until I had to flag a waiter down to ask for it again. They then said “it’s coming”, which ensued in another 10 minutes of waiting before I was then asked if I wanted any more dessert before having to say “no, I asked for the bill twenty minutes ago.” They got the message and brought me it to pay with my card. I would not recommend this restaurant, the prices don’t match what food and service you get. The view of the plaza was nice, but not worth the trade-off.   This is my best last seafoods meal before i left Lisbon. Good location and good service with friendly staffs. Ordered a grilled seafood meal , it is so tasty even without putting any sauce.   My husband and I came here for our last night in Lisbon and we had a great dining experience :) We got an octopus salad to start as well as baked cod and grilled salmon as mains. The octopus salad was good — it was flavourful and tender. The cod was tasty, albeit salty and the salmon was moist and not overcooked. We also got chocolate mousse and passion fruit cheesecake for dessert. The chocolate mousse was rich in flavour and the passionfruit cheesecake was refreshing and not too too heavy.   Update: Came here again with some friends recently and we had to order the same type of rodízio otherwise we couldn’t order more of the plates. It was disappointing but still good value. Our group of 4 decided to go for the Rodízio All-You-Can-Eat, and we were pleasantly surprised that we could all share the fish rodízio €23 per person and seafood rodízio €28 per person so we all got to try bits of everything. The platters came out- we had prawns, clams, mussels, oysters, whelks and crab for the seafood rodízio and all kinds of grilled fish plus squid for the fish platter. Absolutely delicious! We were able to ask for more plates of what we liked and by the end we were stuffed. Service was friendly and helpful.   So I originally tried to go here 2 days ago and did a full review, but the owner responded and informed me that I was in the wrong location. It was true and I corrected the review, but had to give it a real review since someone recommended it to me. Service I called over the phone to reserve for me and a friend and once I got here the waiter set a table out for us with no issues. Very good service wise. Our table was right next to a big group so most of the waiters and waitresses were servicing them but we were able to flag someone down if need be. Food I ordered the Pan fried Shrimp and Linguine with clams and shrimps and my friend had the Octopus salad. While I'm not a fan of the Octopus my friend enjoyed it and said it was amazing. The Pan fried Shrimp was tasty and the Linguine was something I wasn't expecting. It was a Lemon Pepper based white sauce with a hint of something else that just popped in a way I wasn't expecting. Recommendation My apologies to the owner for my mistake in the venues. I didn't realize in the area there were so many different restaurants. This is the best restaurant I have been to in Lisbon after trying a few already. With the local view of the sea, the fresh fish and shrimp, plus the food is amazing all on its own, definitely a must try if you are in the area.   Came here for lunch and it was such a delightful seafood restaurant with excellent and varied choices. The waiters, Onesimo and Jenifer were ever so helpful and assisted us in making the right choices, explaining how the different dishes went together and they were very patient with us.
