  Pizza- After experiencing lousy service from a nearby( zero) pizza place by the aquarium I came here. This place was close to my bnb and decided to try it. It’s really good. Greeted by each staff member with a smile I was given a menu offered a seat. It explains why there is always a line of people to dine here ( b/c of wonderful service!). They have both in and outdoor seating. Pizzas were flavorful , thin crust, fresh and so very hot. Well prepared not not very salty which we appreciate. Took it to go and I do recommend!   We got the rice balls (nduja and pomodoro) and the pizza funghi. The pizza was huge and very reasonably priced and the rice balls were delicious.   We called on off chance after reading some great reviews. The restaurant was very full but thankfully we got a table. Everyone else had reserved a table. Having now eaten at Romana I can understand. We had 2 different pizza's between 3 people. Absolutely beautiful both of them and cooked to perfection.   Great little pizzeria. The staff were friendly and kind, they gave my kids some coloring books and colors as soon as we arrived. The pizza were amazing as well as the mozzarella salad with anchovies. We loved that they had multiple flavored olive oils to go with the food. Two members, in particular (who’s names I never found out unfortunately), displayed exceptional kindness and warmth towards my wife, son, and me.   Maybe I am being a silly American that doesn’t really appreciate the local flavors of pizza, but it was hard for me to find one I liked. My wife loved the one that was spicy, but I am a wimp when it comes to spice so I couldn’t really enjoy it. The pizza I did try (the margharita) was quite good with a crispy crust that was divine.   Wow- surprisingly good pizza delivered. I am always dubious about pizza delivery being any good as it tends to get very soggy. But not this one- what was delivered was delicious. We did over order not knowing the true size of the pizzas so we will enjoy the leftovers for the next couple of meals. That said we definitely recommend Pizzeria Romana Bio and hope to enjoy a pie in person in the future.   We had a fantastic dinner there 2 times when staying in Lisbon. The pizza is delicious and reminds me of a very good pizza which I had in Florence.   This place is like a taste of Rome in Lisbon! They have excellent suppli so definitely get some of them. The pizza is also good, we had the Amatriciana which I loved. Definitely on the salty side with a lot of black pepper and unfortunately just had bacon and prosciutto instead of any guanciale, but I was happy I got it. The only disappointment here was that they don't serve bruschetta and the waiter didn't even know what it was. They do accept credit cards here.   The standard and quality went from great to poor. I always enjoyed the pizza here and went to the restaurant a few times in the past. Recently we mostly order from Bolt and enjoyed the pizza which the normal price is $12 and the restaurant often has promotions for as little as €8, in restaurant these pizzas cost €17.   It's pizza but definitely not authentic Italian pizza as they claim and I can safely say that, having been in different parts of Italy. The thin crust was too hard (and I mean hard enough that I got rashes on the roof of my mouth) and when we asked the server to do something about it, he said it seems good to me. We respectfully told him it was ok that time and there was no need to replace it but asked him to keep that in mind while ordering another pizza. But the next was also in the same condition and he refused to accommodate us in any way, citing that we should know pizza is like this. Notwithstanding the food quality, the service in a restaurant rated this well should at least be friendly and accommodating. Or I'm just from a country where customers are given more respect than this. Safe to say was disappointed. Não obstante a qualidade da comida, o serviço num restaurante com uma classificação tão boa deve ser pelo menos amigável e acolhedor. Ou sou apenas de um país onde os clientes recebem mais respeito do que isso. É seguro dizer que fiquei desapontado.

  Amazing pizza - great staff! For our last night in Lisbon upon visiting the city, we were keen for some pizza and this place was lovely. It's very small and intimate - there were single travelers, locals and families. The pizza was divine, the Portuguese wine was delicious.   If you like the Roman way of making pizza then this is for you (thin and crusty dough with more olive oil and crunch to it). Pretty huge pizza by the way and some of the toppings like nduja also can't be found everywhere. Pricewise the regular ones are ok-ish, as they're really big. The special ones are a tad too expensive and I also have to add that some of the prices almost doubled in the past 6 years.   Wow amazing! The pizza's were exquisite! Perfectly baked and a nice thin crust! The bruschettas were amazing, 3,50 for 2 big slices of bread with a load of tomatoes and balsamic vinigar!   Felt compelled to leave a review after my experience, compared to some of the mixed reviews left here. First, this place is an amazing deal for the quality of the product. And then it was backed up by great customer service and reinforced with a customized, very tasty pizza. This is their Margherita pizza with basil (their menu doesn’t list basil standard) and chili oil added. Happy customer. Nice atmosphere, too.
