  2.5 stars Let’s start with the positives: - Stunning views - Tasty wines & cocktails And that was about it. Unfortunately, there were a lot more negatives: - We tried the mix cheese & meat board, and although it wasn’t bad, the amount for the price range wasn’t worth it - My friend and I had the steak; it was tasteless, the corn was cold, the fries were ok - My fiancé had the boneless chicken thigh which were supposed to come with a bbq sauce, but was in fact just gravy. The meat was too salty, especially in comparison with the potatoes, which were absolutely tasteless. - The waiters were not unkind, but were definitely a lot less friendly than most other places we have been; we were ignored for the first 10 minutes at the door when we arrived, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy, but the rest of the service was ok, if not very attentive. Overall, great place for cocktails and drinks, but you’ll find other restaurants with much tastier food for this price point.   In the unlikely and discrete location of the 6th floor of a large traditional decor shop, this modern restaurant with a contemporary design and menu has a fabulous view, personal service (by Francisco & team) and a very good wine selection. We were two for a shared lunch with couvert, patê, olives, duck croquetes, braised tuna, pork belly, salted chocolate mouse, coffees, a delicious Julia Kemper Dão Rosé and water for €103. It is a fabulous place to spend hours with a view over the roofs of Baixa.   Resolvi passar uma data especial nesse lugar, mas deixou muito a desejar. Fizemos uma reserva e o cara que nos ajudou nem sabia da reserva. O conceito de entrar através de uma loja caseira impressiona, mas o atendimento é muito decepcionante, a comida costuma ser boa, os preços são acessíveis. A mesa que nos deram era muito alta ou as cadeiras eram muito baixas (uma com almofadas verdes). A vista é espetacular para passar uma noite ou uma tarde agradável só para tomar uma bebida, mas se estiver com muita fome há lugares melhores. Minha comida estava um pouco sem gosto, deveriam colocar saleiros a gosto.

  Used to be one of my favourite spots in Lisbon. Last visit, the food was many pegs down from its usual fare. Shrinkflation and decidedly subpar to the point of embarrassing.   Great food, great location and great value. On the 8th floor of a department store, this finely styled bar and restaurant has a view on the Baixa and the hills sorrounding. We had two appetizers and mains + shared dessert and one cocktail (flawlessly prepared) for 54 Eur. The outer terrace is well protected by winds and heated: combined with Lisbon's mild weather, the magic atmosphere can be enjoyed all year long.   We had a reservation for 7 in November for dinner. it was the first time in Lisbon for my parents in Law and we had our 3 year old with us. The staff asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside and we chose outside because it was too cold. Then they informed that they didn't have space inside, the heater had no gas and they had one blanket left (from the 4 in total. sadly it was too late to go find an alternative, I couldn't even taste the food properly, we were all freezing. We were moved from the table in which we were seated because a person wanted our table, given subpar food lacking freshness and flavor, finally topped off by a waiter coming out of the restroom and not washing his hands until he saw me. At which point, he air mocked washing his hands when I showed him how to turn the water on. He sprinkled water on his hands, no soap and went back to work. This was one of the most expensive meals we had while in town and by far the worst.   We found this lovely place by accident through google and gave it a shot for my birthday dinner just now on the 29th of October. Now, getting there is already a bit of an adventure compared to most restaurants, as you enter through a department store. But the moment you step out on the 8th floor and into the restaurant you know you made the right choice. The ambience is great and if the weather is good you can enjoy a great view over Lisbon’s old centre. Forget the Justa elevator, this was way better. the food was the real star of the show. We ordered a few starters and got the fried cuddlefish balls just to try. But holy moly were they delicious. We could have eaten a dozen or more of those. As mains we had the tuna filet and a swordfish burger, and both were out of this world. Some of the best fries I have had as well. The staff is very professional and friendly (I do love the gender neutral uniforms), and we got a great wine suggestion that my partner was gushing about all evening. I cannot recommend Terraço Editorial enough. If you have the time, reserve a table and enjoy what I consider Portugal’s best food.   What a great place hidden in Lisbon! We entered through a furniture shop and had to go to the 8th floor to find this beautiful roof top. Great view on the city and very nice decoration.   The food was ok until I got a piece of uncooked octopus so that kind of ruined my meal. Slimy tentacle…yummy! The service was awful. No recommendations, didn’t know what was in dishes, didn’t know what was in their cocktails. Just bad. Couldn’t even order additional drinks because they never checked on us or walked by.   What an awful experience this restaurant was. It blows my mind that they have a 4.5....maybe the view? It's not even the best rooftop view. The food was okay, nothing to rave about. The service completely ruined the chance of the food even mattering. Our waitress should honestly not have a job as a waitress. She didn't ask us how we were or anything, approached the table, and said, "What do you want?" Had no recommendations, didn't know what the drinks were, never checked in on us once throughout our meal, didn't even smile once!, didn't say goodbye, nothing. I've never had such a terrible waitress in my life. It was a real bummer since this was my birthday dinner. Will not return.   A hidden gem in Lisbon and one of my favourite restaurants. For the money you pay, you will get good quality restaurant level food. Amazing view to the centre, but not so known among tourists. If the weather is good, try to get the table on the terrace and I recommend to book the table. I always suggest this place for my friends when they visit Lisbon. Cod and octopus rice is amazing!   Bautifull restaurant. Went for a drink after doing some shopping downstairs. We saw there was a roof terrace which we thought would be nice to visit for perhaps a good view. And indeed the view was magnificent. The only unpleasant thing was the waitres. We had to wait at the door as with many restaurants here in Portugal. But she passed us to clear a table ( in an almost empty restaurant, only one table was occupied) and when we wanted to get a wine list to look if it was worth the wait we got told by her we couldn't. Luckily for us, another waiter saw this and came to the rescue and seated us. Because to me, that was very rude, and I was ready to leave.   One of the hidden gems of Lisbon. When I booked this place I had no idea about the view this place has. The balcony is the cockpit of Lisbon. You can basically see the whole city in front of you. We went during sunset and had a great time there. The staff is very polite and the food was delicious. They have tons of wine options and some vegetarian options also.   I have visited this restaurant several times and this was the last time. The food is good, but it has gotten a little worse since last time. The fries are now baked with cheese and the result is dried out fries, the previous treatment was much tastier. Worst of all was the service, who seemed annoyed that we made a reservation half an hour before we arrived. I don't understand what's wrong with that and if it bothers them, what's the big deal about setting it in the system that reservations can only be made 2 days in advance. The kicker was that we were also told that we had to leave by a certain time.   We arrived and asked for a sofa table that was in the sun. The front of house manager told us to wait for one of his colleagues to clear the table and then it would be available for us. The waiters cleaned every other table before the one we had asked for (and no one else was waiting for a table) and after waiting for 15 minutes we were told that table wouldn’t fit 5 people and nothing could be done about it. The front of house manager rolled his eyes and turned away when asked if we could not just add a chair to the table even though he knew that was the one we asked for specifically and had previously been agreed upon.   The Rudest Roof Top Terrace The experience was surreal if not comical. This place is a tourist trap or something like that. I was visiting with some local friends and after the waitress asked us to move from a free table with a view to another table, the manager came to us after we had ordered and was extremely rude to us for having tried to sit at a table with the view. I thought he was joking at first but he’s was really trying to pick a fight! In all honesty the view is nothing out of this world as there are many other nicer and more accommodating roof terraces in Lisbon. The staff and management have a long way to go as being rude is never an option especially in a place that’s only merit is the view of the Santa Justa Lift. I would definitely recommend that you do not step into this place unless you are inspired by the service portrayed in the classic British comedy series Faulty Towers. Fantastic view to Lisbon’s western hills including Santa Justa lift, Carmo covent, the Arch, the downtown streets, etc. When reserving table ask for a table on the terrace if the weather permits - it will elevate the experience. The menu is relatively small but is generally well designed and executed. The shrimp cones, octopus rice and pork belly are great; the cuttlefish balls and duck balls at ok; the burger is subpar. The service is quite bad - slow, disorganized, unpolished. Really lets the rest of the place down, which is why it doesn’t deserve 4stars in my opinion.   Went here for a birthday celebration and it did not disappoint! A wonderful view watching night fall from the terrace, you can look across to the Elevadora Santa Justa and Convento do Carmo, the food was excellent and tasty, and drinks delicious (cocktails too!) and pleasant friendly staff.   The location is in the center but not in the crowded area, the entrance is through a store climbing to the 8th floor. View from this restaurant is amazing and i would probably try and get here to watch the sunset. The service is great and they are very helpful. The food itself was nice especially the tuna. Its not a super unique food but i would give it a try and recommend to have the starters and some wine.   Really really great spot for a dinner or just to have a drink. The view is really beautiful and by night with the street lights, it becomes better. Enjoyed the decoration and the service. We were there just for a drink but saw they have really good options in their menu and different! Meaning, things you don't see everywhere in Lisbon, which might be good if you re in to check something different. We were by the balcony and the inside area looked amazing as well.   The service was spectacular and the views of the Santa Justa lift and city are 5 stars but the food is just… ok. Maybe we didn’t order the right things but nothing we ate was special among the leek soup, egg, duck croquettes, cod, and octopus rice. Would not recommend making this a meal stop, but would be a very nice place to have a drink. We arrived at 1:30 on a Wednesday afternoon in October and it was nearly empty. We had the terrace all to ourselves. You get to the restaurant by entering the Pollux department store, taking a left to the elevators, and heading to the top floor.   Cannot recommend this place. We (6 people) went the for dinner at 7:30. no table was set all guests where waiting to be seated, full chaos with the people in service and it seamed as no one had a Plan what to do. We waited for half an hour to get the menu and another half an hour to be served. The rose wine we chose was not cooled so we had to put ice in the glasses. Eventually we received our starters - half of our order was missing. Finally the mains arrived. Food was ok but the service was chaotic, slow and no one seemed to have worked there for one day. We booked a table and we had a great spot in the terrace, although I think I need to say this: even if you don’t have a place in the terrace the food is amazing the quality price ratio is outstanding. The waiters are extremely nice, one of them even gave us a glass of wine for free so we could enjoy our meal as we should, we had two entries, two dishes and we ordered the 3 desserts 😂 cocktails and wine and we payed, 78€ I think its great. Another tip: the ink filled croquettes, the tuna and the chocolate mousse is the BEST combo ever.   The food was really nice, and not expensive. We ended up going twice during our stay in Lisbon. You need a reservation during the weekend if you want a terrace space and you are a bigger group.   Once you finally figure out how to get into the restaurant (through an elevator at the back of a miscellaneous shop) it mostly a good time. The view is prime. The atmosphere is relaxed. And the servers are quite kind. By no means the best or most life changing food but definitely a solid place to chill and have wine, cocktails, and snacks for the evening. For this place I would suggest skip the mains and just order a bunch of appetizers to share.   This restaurant is cool for all the vibes that come with an outside rooftop view. Sitting outside was amazing and the service was great. The food wasn't up to par in my opinion, it may have been just what I ordered. I had seared tuna, I wasn't a huge fan of it. All and all such cool views of the city it's still worth checking out if you can get a seat outside.   Although their inner salon is nicely decorated , the outer terrace which “has an amazing view” (hmmm…) is very noisy and feels more like a tavern. Staff is a mix, some very kind, specially the girls but the guys, well, let’s say they can learn a thing or two about hospitality, it’s very clear some are more experienced than others, you might end having a mixed experience (otherwise this review would be a 5 star review) .   We spent New Year’s Eve here at Terraço. They were incredibly understaffed with it taking 45 minutes before we were delivered drink or bread. While the food was of quality, the 5 courses we had ordered took over 4 1/2 hours to serve. Imagine eating a single course every hour. Additionally when we inquired about the wait they had told us to “chill.” As an employee of the restaurant industry I can understand the frustration of guests especially during the holiday.   Great view, but the restaurant seems understaffed. We were there on a busy Thursday night and there were only 3 servers + a bartender to look after 40+ people spread across ~15 tables. Food was mediocre. Ordered cuttlefish croquettes which were wet in the center. It seems the potato with which they mixed the stuffing was watery. The entrecôte was extremely tough and flavorless. Considered sending it back but the service was so overwhelmed it didn’t seem like there was much point. Also, ordered a glass of wine and received one of the smallest pours I’ve seen in Portugal (it was maybe 10 cL at most). It was laughably not much larger than the tasting pour. Gotta say the view is pretty great, though. So, maybe it’s an ok place to come for a beer (they don’t stiff on the beer pours), but I wouldn’t bother with the food or wine by the glass. Integra best feature of the restaurant is the terrace, but during the week (Mon-Thru) they cannot ensure a space outside.   There are restaurants that make you pause and savor every moment of your dining experience. This was that place for us. From the moment the elevator of the pollux store opened up at the 8th floor we knew we were in for a fun evening but not this amazing. Let’s start with the obvious, the views are just stunning. Pics attached probably don’t do justice. Now to give credit where it’s due, our server (can’t remember the name but he was from Brazil) was just outstanding. Every recommendation he made was 10 out of 10 and his humbleness along with knowledge of wine was mind blowing. Now to the food, like I said early we just went with our server’s suggestions and each dish was scrumptious. Started with the octopus salad on bread, a great start. To compliment the appetizer we got a ginger cocktail and a rose one. Then we moved on to the fries along with the mackerel. Both outstanding. We finished our beautiful evening with a mouse dessert accompanied with port wine. Agora, para dar crédito a quem merece, nosso servidor (não lembro o nome, mas ele era do Brasil) foi simplesmente excelente. Cada recomendação que ele fez foi 10 em 10 e sua humildade, juntamente com o conhecimento do vinho, foram alucinantes. Agora, para a comida, como eu disse antes, apenas seguimos as sugestões do nosso garçom e cada prato estava delicioso. Comecei pela salada de polvo no pão, um excelente começo. Para complementar o aperitivo pedimos um coquetel de gengibre e um de rosas. Depois passamos para as batatas fritas junto com a cavala. Ambos excelentes. Terminamos a nossa bela noite com uma sobremesa de rato acompanhada de vinho do Porto. Nossa experiência gastronômica foi algo que guardaremos por muito tempo e não podemos agradecer a este restaurante e ao nosso servidor por torná-la especial.

  Go here for a nice quality wine from local producers, served by the glass. Combine with local cheese. Nice view. Entrance was somewhat hard to find. A staff member in the seemingly closed store approached me and helped me towards the 8th floor. The rooftop terrace offers about 30 lounge+ normal seats. Entered at 5:30pm and it was busy in a good way, allowing room. Love how the terrace offers sun and shade at the same time while protecting from the typical Lisbon wind. Advice from the sommelier on the terrace was good as he knew his wines and was pleasant to deal with. He also offered a wine by the glass that was not on the menu.   This place is truly amazing! It has the best view over lisbon and the food is so so so soooo good! But to be honest, what really made our evening was the service and the kindness of the staff. Especially the waiter Luigi was super nice and had really good wine suggestions ,that fitted perfectly to the food. My wife and I had a really special night there just before lockdown and for sure, we will come back! I hope this place will survive the lockdown and everything because they deserve it so much!   We visited this restaurant the day after having diner at Oficina do Duque from the same chef. It is locate on the last floor of Pollux so you have to actually enter the store to get there.   The view in the terrace is fantastic. I have bren coming to this spot for many years. Although thet renovated it for a more modern look I still think its a great spot. The service is excellent and they made me feel very comfortable while I was waiting for my lunch companion. I had a chick pea burger that was fantastic in both looks and taste. I managed to get some reading done here and it was lovely because he terrace is really nice and quiet at early lunch hours. The price is also quite good for the location.   My boyfriend booked dinner here for my birthday, telling them it was for a special occasion. We got there and the music was terribly loud, had to scream to talk. There were people walking and dancing around the table, shouting. Then they told us that they have parties every Thursday.
