  Had Traditional Codfish it was good. Also had the tomato basil pasta it was decent. Before we ordered any food they brought bread and butter so we thought it was complimentary but they charged us for it. Would have been nice to know that when they offered the bread.   I ordered the Factory Burger and it was one of the best burgers I had for a while now. The bread and the meat were very good! I loved the combination of the goat cheese and the caramelized onion was so delicious! I highly recommend this place!   Not good service, you sit down and nobody tells you that you have to order at the bar. One of the bathroom doesn’t lock. Aperols pretty bad. It was cold and we asked to go inside and they said that only if we ate food. The inside bar was completely empty… you can notice the owner is not there and it is very touristic compared to the ones next to it.   wonderful food. we were a group of 6, different dishes and everybody was very happy with the starters, main and desert. service was hesitant and not very professional. lovely space but on the bad side, the toilets were filthy.   Sooooo slow service.. like for real? The place was half empty and took almost 2h for a starter + a main.. The serving team is awesome, brilliant, friendly and helpful. Croquettes are really good, cerviche was good but way too much lemon in it and it covered most of the flavour, octopus was def a good choice as a main, tasteful and good portion for the price.   Ordered the steak. Medium Rare. Received what I initially thought to be chicken flatten by an aeroplane tire on a runway, but upon closer inspection, it turned out to be my steak. Almost fell out of my chair upon making this revelation. As for the taste, all I could taste was lime. How garlic and herb butter could be overpowered by such a small lime slice is beyond me. I will ask whoever meets me in the afterlife for an answer, as I'm sure no one in this life knows. I got fries with the "steak," but they were serverly undercooked.   A nice shady place to enjoy lunch at LX. My wife and I had lunch here with red wine sangria. She had the Runner Beans appetizer with Grilled Eggplant. I had the Portuguesa burger. The burger was probably the best burger I have had over the past three weeks in Portugal. Loved the way it was served in sauce. The fries were ok.   I hardly ever give negative reviews, but this place unfortunately earned one. Food was well, edible, but that's it. It was dramatically underseasoned, fries were very heavy, as if on old oil. But the worst was definitely the service. The waitress hadn't uttered a single word do us, no response to 'hello', 'thank you', our order, nothing. After the appetizer she took my dirty cutlery from inside of the plate and put it back on the table for me to use with my main dish, instead of giving me a fresh set. The rest of staff was behaving in a similar way, everyone was angry, dismissive, not talking to each other and barely saying a word to customers.   We had a terrible experience here tonight. We had two servers covering our table. They just completely ignored us. It was the weirdest thing. We finally called them over for a drink order, they took it dropped off the drinks and they just never came back. We then called them over for a food order. The food was put down without even acknowledging us and they walked away. The fries were cold. We called over a third server after we waited a few minutes and asked for some hot fries. At no point to did anyone ask how the food was or to check in to see if we needed anything.we felt invisible. Unfortunately, would not recommend.   I ate octopus every single day during my vacation in Lisbon, but ai have to say I really die not like this one. I ate half of the plate because we were tight on time and had to go somewhere else. The potatoes were a bit of mix of soft and harder, the sea weed really didn't appeal to my personal taste and I don't know what happened to that octopus, but it was very chewy and tasted just weird. To be fair, the Risotto my Partner had with the cod fish was better and I wish I had taken that instead - but it also wasn't overwhelming. The ambient is nice in the place, but food-wise I think there are just better places to eat. I would generally probably not eat again in the LX factory premise.   NOT FOR TOURISTS Been here about three times as we had our airbnb right beside LX Factory. i had to check again which confirmed my suspicions. The staff does not care about you. Ive heard them and the locals visiting poke fun at tourists coming in and they will not put much effort into giving you a nice experience. We got a slight impression the place had closed down after waiting for ages outside, but obviously could not tell as the locals were laughing and having fun. As soon as they left all the heaters and lights went out. Cocktails were great but there are so many other places in the factory that are worth your attention. Portugal is so friendly, the people here are so nice! Just not the staff here. You are not welcome, forced to sit somewhere else, ignored or served in plastic cups. The prices are spiked up, eh it’s just a bad place. Go into the city and visit Pink street, go to small cafes and talk to the staff and you will find that portugal is not represented by this place. LX Factory: Good coffee and breakfast: Fred’s Fast, Filling and wonderful pizza: Messe Nice beer and wine at: Beers!   The location itself appears very fancy. The staff was fast compared to other Portugese restaurants fast though the main problem seems to be the quality of food. Had some salmon salad where the salmon was prepared raw in the evening. Had to go to the hospital the next day due to food poisoning diagnosed by the doctors.   Nice open air restaurant at LX. Huge menu with lots to chose from. Sit by the window and you can people watch all day. Sangria was delicious as was the crispy vinho Verde. Got a Portugal Burger which comes without a bun. Includes cheese, olives, and a fried egg. It really hit the spot after walking around all around town. Delicious.   Where do I start... Unfriendly staff, overpriced menu containing dishes which sound appealing but turn out to be horrible. Our group ordered different dishes and no one was happy with what was served. Al dente rice in the risotto, extremely chewy meat in the medium rare steaks (how is that even possible with even just decent meat?) and very poor burgers. The guacamole burger consisted of a poor pattie served on one slice of tomato and one small piece of lettuce on the bottom of a bun. On top you would find a small dollop of guacamole and the top of the bun on the side, resting on horribly overcooked crisps. Oh, the crisps... served as sides to the poor steaks, they were terribly overcooked to the point of being burnt and almost rock solid!   I cannot give one star because of the location which is really nice. However, the dinner was a disaster from the service, to the food, to the bill. Even though the menu says French fries, we were told no French fries were available. I asked another girl if they had it and yes they did. We got a bucket of chips which were presented as their fries, the same that come with the burger, which are chips but still gets two different names on the menu. Don't know what to think about it. Furthermore I ordered a beer (on the menu either 40cl or 60cl) the guy didn't ask me the size, then they arrived with the huge one. I said I never said I wanted that one, the owner tells me he's sorry but they don't have 40cl beer, which is now weird to think about because it's on the menu and it's tap. Food.. We've not been asked about the burger patty (rare/medium etc) and mine for example was raw and chips were super oily, nachos old. To my disappointment this place LOOKS really nice, so does the food, but is very deceiving. Unfortunately, would not recommend.   Total disaster. We ate here from a set menu as there was an event on. The set menu was €40 per person. We were waiting 45 minutes for our starters and then another 60 minutes for our main course although people around us who came later were already served and finished their meals. Total chaos. When it came to dessert they said that they didn't have the dessert from the menu (chocolate mousse) left so brought us apple cake that was laced with cinnamon and barely edible. When they finally sat us, we were without menus for over 10 minutes and then didn’t serve us drinks for another 10 minutes. When serving, they forgot who ordered each item. In my case the sweetness of the marmalade was a bit overwhelming but the product itself has a very vintage appearance, great texture and it might be the closest to grandma's duck you can get. One more thing – if you are early and the waiter asks you to wait outside and take a drink until the tables are set – ask him for a table inside specifically. In our case all tables were suddenly booked as we wanted to go inside – we got one in the end, but what was the waiting outside for then...   I felt in love by the salmon salad. Simple, light, fesh but some how AMAZING. The duck was really nice too. The staff was 5stars and the environment is cool and relaxed.
