  A very good restaurant with very good quality food and excellent service. It was a pity that we found this restaurant on our last day of a week holiday in lisbon. We could have spent the whole week in this restaurant. Actually, this is the only few restaurants in lisbon that when they give you the bill, it is the same price of the menu,as other restaurants are mostly a tourist trap. Highly recommended. The food was good the service was good overall I tried the cod fish bras for the first time and it just needed some lime or spice in which resulted in my four stars. The melon with ham is not quite like Italy they use a different melon and the prosciutto taste different but it was still good.   We really enjoyed our meal and service here. We were three and we got the octopus, the fried cod with chips and the cod cakes on rice. Everything was yummy and our server was very accommodating. We sat outside and they made sure they had the heat going so we were comfortable. The portions were large and we were stuffed by the end of our meal.   This restaurant could be so much better if the service was improved. The location is good, though it's always going to be a touristy place. And maybe that's why it simply doesn't try hard enough. Business is too easy. The manager is grumpy and as a result half the staff follow his example and are as miserable as hell. But... the burger is actually very good, though even that could be improved if the bun was replaced by a traditional crusty Portuguese roll. Sardines were ok, and a decent size, if a bit sloppy.   The food was good, the service was standard for the area. Overall I would have been satisfied with the restaurant had it not been for the manager. Lunch time on a Saturday at 3:21 of July 30 I call the manager over to the table to inform him that the restaurant is pretty, the food is okay and the service standard; yet what caugth my attention was that once I called the restaurant manager to let him know I had found a small roach on top of my table. Just to call his attention to the fact that such a thing was happening, not only was he condescending by telling me: " oh that's just nature", and "I speak eigth languages". Great for him. Such a feat is only achieve by people of great intelligence and habilities which baffles me such a crude and ignorant response to what simply was a call of attention.   We landed in Lisbon on a late flight and were starving. We found this place right by our hotel at 11pm and they happily gave us a table outside. The food was amazing, very tasty and fresh and not huge portions which you felt like you had to eat. We had a mix of dishes from seafood to meats. The waiter B.Lucas was exceptional, very knowledgeable about the food and giving us recommendations and if he didn’t know an answer he ran straight to the kitchen to find the answer for us.   One of the worst experiences I have ever had. At the start the experience was good, we ordered our food and got the fish cakes. They were nice. Afterwards several more people arrived (this will be relevant later) on the menu the steak says "with potatoes" instead I received potato chips (Crisps) and the steak was in a bowl of what seemed like grease. the people sitting next to me requested white wine and received red wine. It took ages for them to actually get the correct drink. More people sitting next to us ordered roughly the same time and we're sitting there for 40 MINUTES before they instead decided to leave rather than continue waiting. (They had 2 young children, I don't blame them.) Torrential rain began aswell (not the restaurants fault) which didn't help. When the people sitting next to us got their food it was the wrong dish. (In fairness, they tried to eat it but then asked for assistance) the manager then came and from what I could hear, he was possibly one of the rudest people I have ever met. In the end they received their food and they ate, paid and left. When I was paying, the waitress left my card in the machine, however I believe this was just a mistake.   What a joke, this place must be totally driven by profit. Visiting Lisbon has a tourist and booked restaurant days before. Restaurant text on day to confirm table and expected time of arrival. Down hill from here, so lucky this wasn't typical Portuguese hospitality. On arrival greeted by a rude younge lady ( must be wage related) who announced. Booked what table!!! Only to try to explain previous booking arrangements with tbe restaurant but to no availe. Asjed if wanted to sit downstairs in a hot unairconditioned room and having to wait to set a table. Walked out in discussec after spending 20 minutes taxi journey to get their. I know we wete only tourist but woyls have expected better, luckily only Portuguese restaurant who we came across who were so wanting and diabolical with service. With so much choice in Lisbon, i really won't bother with them. Shocking and disappointed.   The one star rating is already too good. It is the typical over-priced tourist place, advertising itself as serving "traditional Portuguese Food". The appetizer came canned and plastic wrapped. The main course, while of decent taste, was swimming in oil. I enjoyed good Portuguese Food the whole entire week I stayed here in Lisbon. The dining experience at San Siro was not part of this. Topping things was, that we had to pay our bill in cash, something that was not pointed out to us upfront. There was a small sign in one of the windows though, stating that the ATM was broken.   Horrible restaurant. Told the waiter 3 times I want a vegetarian pizza, and got mushroom and salami pizza. He went to change it after I sent it back, and they just took off the salami. Dodn't realise untill I saw a piece of meat on it, and refused to pay. The manager Louis came and didn't even say sorry, just said he will call the police if I don't pay for something I didn't even eat.
