  Loved eating here and chatting to the staff. We were welcomed with big, genuine smiles and authentic, scrumptious food. During our stay in Lisbon we came here twice although the city harbours many other wonderful restaurants but, let's be honest, if you arrive at a place and you are greeted with such kindness, generosity of heart and food infused with love, how do you say no to that?   The restaurant itself is nice and cosy. However, the experience was really bad: First, they took more than 1h30 minutes to bring us our food since they lost our orders. Second, they brought us wrong dishes. Third, some of the dishes were cold and super spicy (when we asked without). In the end, the prices were bit ridiculous (even with discount).   Sorry for my late review, I need filters for joints and now I got to this business card and it's only fair that I give my review. Was there last year on the 1st of December and for two hours, I forgot that I was in Lisbon, Nepalese interior decorations, excellent food, A la carte, friendly stuff, it's a family business. I happen to flown two days before from NL and had a big fever, I was with two jackets on me and once I finished my dish, the lady saw I was looking ill and offered on the house a second drink.   I had a decent meal here with friends. However, it was a bit different than I had hoped. The momos didn’t come with the usual sauce. And the dhal was a bit bland. Also, the menu felt more Indian than Nepalese. So I left feeling confused about the concept. The service was nice and accommodating with dietary restrictions, though saying it was vegan-friendly at the front was a little exaggerated. We had to actively ask what had dairy, what could be made without dairy, etc. Overall, it was fine. The complimentary opener—onion bhaji—and the closer—mango juice shot—was a nice touch. Staff members super lovely and accommodating with my spice level, they even brought me a taster of the spice level of my dish before it came out.   I'm not familiar with Nepalese food but very used to Tamil and south Indian cuisine. Great food here and a nice break from mild Portuguese cuisines. Recommend the Lamb masala special.   The atmosphere of the restaurant was very warm and welcoming, the staff were also friendly and very attentive. However, the food was not good. We were given a new years menu and could choose a main and a drink. The starters were onion bhajis - which were truly the worst onion bhajis we have tasted. They were worse than the ones you buy in the supermarket and put in the oven. The texture was off, they were flat rather than round, and were red as if dyed. The mains were okay. The curries were average and a bit watery. My partner wanted his spicy and it was not spicy at all. The rice was not cooked well - it was clumpy and dry. We are comparing the food to Indian food in England which is quite superior to what we had at this place, however, we would not recommend eating there.   Searched for vegetarian food, since one of us is a vegetarian. This can sometimes be a bit difficult in Lisbon, or the option are very limited. However Olá Nepal, had already some great reviews and I can add to this. For vegetarians you have quite some options! Also if you like meat you’ll have lots to choose from.   First of all, if you haven’t tried Indian or Nepali food, let me tell you you’re missing something great. Secondly, if you’d like to try it or already have but are craving for more, I totally recommend Ola Nepal. I had cheese bread, pilau rice and prawn balti, and the flavors were simply fantastic and left me with a feeling of well-being and happiness.   My first day in Lisbon and I am so happy to have eaten here. I ordered Chicken In coconut sauce and it was the best I’ve ever had (compared to other 5 European countries).   Been to many similar restaurants and discovered that it's not a good value for money. The papadums that we ordered were 1 each for 5 people, but they served them by dividing them in half, that was a very cheap move. Also the paneer pakoras were just 5 french fried sized sticks and we were shocked by the quantity, plus they were very chewy and not flavourful at all. The cheese garlic naan was just stuffed cheese which again was a disappointment. Malai kofta was dry and tasted like stale left over curry. I cannot understand how it has so many people. Food was not good at all. The service was not bad, the waitress offered us a bottle of wine when we were done as we had given her our feedback about the food, but again, the wine was a little too late as we were already done eating and drinking.   Food was nice but nothing that special. My meal was warmish but my friend's same food was sizzling hot. Main issue was with the order since our group didn't get everything we asked but instead got a lot of stuff we didn't and even the bill included and excluded random stuff and was swapped for a more expensive just when we were paying.   Friendly service from start to end. Though I haven't ever lived in a Nepalese household, I felt welcomed and like I was at home. The food is incredibly tasty! I personally ordered Chicken Korma, which means chicken dipped in coconut sauce. You can choose to either dip bread in the sauce, or eat it all with rice. I think I made a good choice when choosing rice, because it was so light and smooth, allowing me to enjoy the sauce in all its glory. A great meal! My experience was shared with both my sister and my mother. They were already fuller than I was upon entering, and thus didn't have enough capacity to finish their meals fully. So I went ahead and ate what they had left of their Butter Chicken dishes. The creamy butter sauce is also very good, but what surprised me was how light and comfortable I felt after eating such a big amount. Opposed to greasier meals, I could eat so much more and still feel fresh after. On top of the base orders we made, we got to taste various Nepalese dishes through complimentary dishes.   After reading all the reviews, I was really looking forward to our visit, but left disappointed by this place. Out of all the Indian restaurants we tried in Lisbon, this was the worst, sadly. The padadums were stale and despite being given one complimentary and ordering 2 more as we were starving (we had 3 in all - 1 complimentary and 2 ordered), were charged for 4. The curries lacked flavour and my wife's was ridiculously salty. The pilau rice was greasy and also lacked flavour. The one saving grace was the naan, which was excellent, and the prompt service. The portion sizes were also good. Maybe we went on an off-day, but we were left really disappointed.   Best curry in lison. I ate countless curry in my life but this place is amazing. They even put a candle under curry dish so it can remain hot till you finish. Super friendly staff.   We discovered this restaurant on TheFork/Tripadvisor and decided to give it a try for dinner. The food was good overall (except for the starters which were tasteless and too greasy) but the service was deceiving. First of all, they asked if we booked with discount or not because that would change their prices (example: if you booked with discount, you had to pay extra for the rice which is not fair since the policies should not change whether or not you are booking with a discount). At the end when asking for the bill, they did not apply the discount and when we told them about it, they were unhappy and brought the new bill on the spot (which means it was already ready and they wanted to try and see if we’d notice or not). If you do not want to provide discounts on Tripadvisor then remove it, and don’t try to scam your clients. What a same!   Great place. Amazing hospitality from the owners. They are really nice and would most def make you feel welcome. They have an easy reading menu, and lots off good food to chose from. Good selections for Vegetarians too. Prices are about 8-10 euros for appetisers and main plus a beer. So its an okay priced place but def worth going here for the nice atmosphere and good food!   Last time i visited with my some friends at ola nepal restaurant .The restaurant is very clean and beautiful .The walls of restaurant are filled by cultural pictures of nepal .We got very relax by nice nepali music .Our ordered lamy jalfregi ,chicken chilli ,garlic nan and chicken tandoori had been come on time .The food was perfect ,there wasnt any single complain about food and the staff was very smart and friendly .off course i would like to strongly recommend to try lamb jalfregi who like this kind of food but you can ask how much you prefer spicy on it before to order.One of the right place to have nepalese and indian food in lisbon city. I wanna say that dont afraid about spicy because they may ask before ordering the food for every one so it is the good way to try food here. There are lots of choices about lamb ,chicken and prawan so please try to visit here once time to try indian food . The staff raj is very friendly and give right suggestion to every one about dish.   I see that everybody loves this restaurant and I hate to be a party pooper but I feel like I got screwed so badly that I have to write about it. We went there with a recommandation of the hotel's cleck. We arrived at about 8 o'clock in the evening. My wife and my daughter didn't want to eat a lot so they​ ordered lentils soup and Naan bread (one with cheese). I ordered the butter chicken and rice. One lentil soup arrived followed by the chicken and rice. Than the nan without cheese arrived. Me and my daughter started to eat and soon my daughter told me that the soup was not good. I tasted, it was watery and not good (very salty). I finished my meal, and my daughter finished the nan. My wife asked about her food. The waiter, who was truly nice, said that he didn't ordered her lentils soup cause he thought she wanted to share with my daughter. Than the soup came out and was more watery and more salty than the other. The cheese Nan came 20 minutes later approximately. It was only ok. We asked for the bill and it was 24€, with a beer and a small bottle of water. The soups were almost full when we left. I feel sorry for the waiter, he was really nice. Minha esposa perguntou sobre sua comida. O garçom, que foi muito simpático, disse que não pediu sopa de lentilhas porque achou que ela queria dividir com minha filha. Então a sopa saiu e ficou mais aguada e mais salgada que a outra. O queijo Nan chegou cerca de 20 minutos depois. Estava tudo bem. Pedimos a conta e custou 24€, com uma cerveja e uma garrafinha de água. As sopas estavam quase cheias quando saímos. Sinto muito pelo garçom, ele foi muito legal. Ele saiu para se despedir.
