  Great lunchtime menu at a good price by the bull ring. Ate here as a couple during lunchtime when it was quieter. Close to the Campo Pequeno metro and shopping mall.   Seafood not fresh!!! Dinner at the said restaurant on 19 Jan 2024, together with my friends, there were 10 of us, 8 adults and 2 kids. This was my second time having seafood buffet there, first experience was good, but second experience was really really bad. All of us got food posioning the next days, symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, fever and body pain. Thats the reason why we decided to make the complaint together and hope the restaurant can improve on their food quality to avoid the similar issue happen on other customers.   Oh my goodness I went on a Monday right when they opened. My husband and I had garlic shrimp, salad, oysters bread, cheese, and their cheesecake. I LOVED the oysters. But when dessert came out… that cheesecake was better than juniors cheesecake in NY. I will be stopping in to pick up at least 3 before I head back home.   We ordered the plate for two with free “refills” lol. It was enough and there was a lot of leftover. I particularly liked the crab and the sautéed shrimp (head and all). Everything tasted great and the servers were all attentive. Hard to find but search for it and you will not be disappointed unless your lookin for anything other then seafood. When you are done or before you eat you can visit the shops under the coliseum. You can’t tell they are there but walk around and take the elevator or the circular walk. They keep saying soups is coming later and confirmed that oysters were coming together with the soup when I asked one more time if it is the correct order. When I paid I asked what it that, and they said it is “...” in Portuguese, I asked if it was the oysters and I told them I didn't order oysters, I ordered the soups and kept asking if the oysters is coming together with the soups and you said yes. The waiter keeps saying it's my order I ordered it. I replied I can pay you now, but I am telling you I didn't order the oysters! - Thirdly, the waiters were bad while recommending me.   Do not recommend Take Away from Uber Eats. The quality of the seafood served is not good. I ordered a mariscada dish for 2 people and the grilled prawns were brown, overcooked.   The res manager is not friendly any more, especially with travellers.   Place was clean and the food was nice although a bit pricey for what you get. Staff was friendly, but very chaotic and at times a bit brief.   This is a review of the €28.50 per person (minimum 2 persons) seafood platter. This is the only offer that is 'eat as much as you like' on the menu. Once finished just ask for more of any one or more of the individual dishes and it is served promptly without question. Note... This does not apply to the other slightly lower priced seafood and fish platters. We pondered long and hard about giving 5 stars as the service was excellent however a couple of points held us back. Firstly the Percebes were not served on our plate despite being on the offer and the server promising us he would teach us how to eat them however we did eat fourteen oysters between two persons so we don't feel too robbed. Being very garlic tolerant and appreciating the rich deep flavours possible from Portuguese olive oil and piri piri more was possible in the sauces of the prawns and mussels but appreciate that the restaurant needs to and has found a balance of appeal to the tastes of many nationalities. All in all a 4.5 from us which unfortunately we can't submit but highly recommended nevertheless, we will definitely return.   When you go to a restaurant at this price bracket you expect to have a nice experience, because that is what most of the money is paying. A failed expectation, in this case. They reminded me of the stereotype of a nouveau rich restaurant: A dockyard, backstreet joint that came into money and now tries to play the game at a different level. All believable on the surface, but with it's true nature appearing as soon as you scratch a little. Costumers are not enemies, and do not come intoa restaurant to cheat the house. Maybe it was so in the said joint (and old habits seem to die hard), but now the assumption and subsequent attitude is highly offensive, if you have any type of sensitivity to such matters. One less restaurant in my book. Never to be repeated, of course. Too many other restaurants in town with better food, helpful staff, and a commitment to provide happy and memorable experiences to justify ever considering giving this one another chance.   THIS IS A 1 STAR REVIEW for service on Dec 14, 2021 around 8pm- Getting seated took a little longer due to COVID vaccine verification, per state laws. We ordered 5 fish Rodízios, along with multiple drinks including red wine Sangria. Our servers were attentive, and the food was good, but I was disappointed in the fact that they bring all your fish to the table at once- although they place a “hot plate” underneath your fish tray, if you don’t eat fast, you’ll eat cold fish. My group was particularly disappointed in the managers/hosts behavior- we were told by our servers that we could take whatsoever we had at our table as to-go, including our dessert ( which is included on the rodízio menu. The manager/host refused to allow us to take our dessert- and when asked what difference it would make, he said it would benefit the restaurant.   Lovely meal. We had the fish rodizio. Soup followed by lots of different types of fish with salad and potatoes. If you want anything again then they bring it for you. My husband had two portions of the soup, but we couldn't manage to repeat anything else. Plus the fish rodizio comes with dessert. Staff were lovely. Later I saw that seafood from other table and I confronted with the waiter. He explained that my friend and I arrived too early and the restaurant didn't have that seafood at that time. Oh, really?! :( And when it arrived, when we asked for refill, it didn't occur to you that u should tell the customers that the seafood arrived ? :( The restaurant promot itself as seafood buffet and it is free to refill. We decided to go for the fish menu, which included a soup, four slices of fish and two pieces of calamari and a dessert.
