  Place looks fun, food is okay. Represents more tex-mex than mexican food. The waiters don’t speak portuguese which is okay for me but not for people that don’t speak english (which is common in Portugal). They were nice overall since they understood that they noted a wrong order when the mistaken plate arrived at our table. Although… The manager did not understand us at all. I suppose the right thing is to agree the mistake (“client is always right”) but he did not to do that. He tried until the end to make us believe that we were the ones that made the order wrong. He consistently argued with us trying to make his point through. He, with a lot of irony, pretended that he did not comprehend my Brazilian portuguese. Using his european portuguese he corrected me while I did my order. Very disrespectful. Overall, it wasn’t a good experience. I’ve been to this restaurant 4 times and I always maintained my idea that this was not a traditional mexican place and that is okay. The waiters hardly spoke portuguese and that is also okay. But today, with this man, I have come to the conclusion that I will never come to this place ever again. (Traduzido pelo Google) O lugar parece divertido, a comida é boa. Suponho que o certo é concordar com o erro (“o cliente tem sempre razão”) mas ele não fez isso. Ele tentou até o fim nos fazer acreditar que fomos nós que erramos o pedido. Ele consistentemente discutiu conosco tentando mostrar seu ponto de vista. Ele, com muita ironia, fingiu não compreender meu português brasileiro. Usando seu português europeu ele me corrigiu enquanto eu fazia meu pedido. Muito desrespeitoso. No geral, não foi uma boa experiência. Já estive neste restaurante 4 vezes e sempre mantive a ideia de que este não era um lugar tradicional mexicano e está tudo bem. Os garçons quase não falavam português e isso também é bom. Mas hoje, com este homem, cheguei à conclusão de que nunca mais voltarei a este lugar.

I’ve brought 2 friends to this restaurant to try the birria tacos and both of them were amazed about the flavour!!   I’m Mexican and I will never go to this place again. Food it’s ok, simply NOT the best, I ordered a Beef burrito, the waitress made a mistake and brought me a Chicken burrito, I don’t eat chicken… He came back to me and say I’m sorry I made a mistake, it was my mistake I’m sorry. To what I said no problem just bring me the beef burrito, no cause you already bite it (which was my friend not me) I said ok bring me half of the burrito or charge me half of it only… No they charge me for something I didn’t ordered, it wasn’t my mistake, and no even at least apply a discount. That burrito went straight to the trash or probably the waitress ate it! I have restaurants and really that’s NOT the right way of doing it, no wonder why their review it’s that bad, there are NICEST, prettiest, and more tasting places around this one, go to those not to this one it’s such an scam!   Don't come here unless you want to deal with rude staff and mediocre overpriced food . We ordered a bottle of wine. When the server broke the cork when they tried to open it they went away presumably to get the rest of the cork out and returned with the same bottle opened but it tasted corked so we asked to return the wine for another one. She went away with the wine and then after what felt like 10 mins passed another staff member came back with the same bottle of wine and argues with us that it was not corked saying that she had tasted it and there was nothing wrong with it and we had to pay for another bottle if we returned it . We ordered the nachos and beef and when we asked for cutlery and napkins these we were told that we were supposed to eat this with our hands and that they didn't serve it with cutlery or napkins. Annoyed at how rude the staff were at this point , we asked to speak to the manager but was told no manager on shift that evening. We paid for the food and left with a bad experience.   🌮Great Mexican food close to the river. We stopped in for lunch and the place was not busy at all. Very large space with DJ booth that I can only imagine gets bumpin later in the evenings and at night. Smaller portions than we’re used to in the States. Chipotle sauce on the fish tacos🤤 and the beef burrito were packed with flavor. Margarita was delicious and the CHIRRO’s are a MUST! Service could have been more interactive (only came by to take order and drop off food) but I could tell they were preparing for the evening crowd.   I love burritos and this one was TERRIBLE… for a start I ordered an XL burrito… does this look extra large?? Lol. I have small hands by the way. The flavours were just not yummy at all. The tortilla was too thick, the burrito was just one third tortilla and it was half soggy and half way too dry… the rice was mushy… everything was so so salty.   We were happy to find a place able to accommodate a party of ten. That’s about the only positive thing I can say about the Las Fincheras.!Well, the service was friendly. Since they have a smoker space, even in the no smokers zone you are breathing passive smoke and your clothes will smell like a chain smoker.   After having had my share of visits to this restaurant and loving their food, I was really disappointed to see that the quality of their food had kept droping with time while the prices remained high. For example in the case of their burritos, what was one of my favorite dishes in the restaurant, now not only they had only rice and beans inside them, but the rice was partially raw. I was expecting the typical chipotle sauce shrimp tacos normally come with which is much better. I had to add sour cream and beans to give it a saltier taste. The server asked the chef in front of me confirming midnight. I came back with my wife at 11:05 and three different servers seemed very annoyed that we wanted food and one even said 'drinks only?'. Worst is the food sickness from the produce. They must be prepping the vegetables in unclean spaces. My wife was sick all night from the pico de gallo.
