  We had breakfast twice on our trip to Lisbon last week. We enjoyed our nice breakfast and the food kept our stomach full the whole day. Food presentation and service ,we will rate them a 9/10.   We came here twice on our trip to Lisbon and were really happy with the food. It is a good place to grab a quick bite before seeing the city and had a good iced coffee which helped beat the jet lag. The eggs on toast were very good and better than the croissant sandwich and pancakes we also tried. The atmosphere is very trendy and while the food was very good, I wasn't blown away which is why I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. It stands out as the best breakfast we had in Lisbon, but as we were staying in a very touristy area, the other options were not as good in comparison- essentially this is the best of the options we had but not a 5 star experience.   we’re in Lissabon for a short trip and were looking for the perfect Brunch-Spot to cure our hangover, and boi oh boi…this hit the nail on the head!! We ordered the Hummus, Shakshuka and the Sugar Daddy Pancakes, they were all outstanding and so affordable! Flat white with little coffee, the toast had the bread too crunchy (even a little hard), and the portion of avocado is very small (almost the size of a walnut).   We had brunch today. I got poached eggs with bread and bacon. Being at a brunch place the usual thing I ordered are poached eggs. But in my life I saw somebody doing poached eggs all along totally wrong. The white was to 90% raw and the yolk was hard like a little ball. Beside of this bizarre and unappealing look, I told the waiter. The kitchen instead of doing the right thing, gave some more salad and sprinkle the egg with chives.   This place is cute and Very central. The brunch menu is very generous. You get two full plates & a drink for $16 vs 10 for a single plate. I would like to see hot sauce available but the kimchee mayo they had in place did the job. Also the halurmmi egg & cheese on a bagel was really good.   We discovered this gem of a coffee bar on our second day in Lisbon. The food was sublime and this was the best coffee I’ve had in the last 4 years. I’m a coffee snob living in a country that thrives on some of the worst brew I’ve ever tasted. What a treat today was, thanks to Filip, the lovely hostess and the bar/kitchen staff.   Such a cute cafe, amazing selection of food and drinks. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Cafe was quite small but had plenty of seating with amazing views of the trams driving past if you sit in the window tables. Very reasonable prices. The iced coffee with milk was €3.50 and the pancakes were €7.50 including 2 very large pancakes and plenty of toppings.   We had some fantastic breakfasts in Lisbon, but Cotidiano was the best. It was quite busy when we visited, around 1030 but we were quickly found a seat. The toast bread was quite hard, the table didn't fit all plates from the brunch, the pancakes were good, but comes with only honey.   Stumbled upon this place without knowing anything about it. It was busy and noisy for lunch with tables very close together. I was greeted by a waitress and waited for only about 5 minutes. There are not that many seats in this small space. I had one of the best salads I've ever had. The other was in Arequipa, Peru. My salad was called The Cheeky Salad. It was spinach based with grilled chicken breast, bulgar, red cabbage, avocado, pomegranate seeds, pickled carrots, toasted coconut and sesame seeds. My partner ordered the "pink benedict" which was poached eggs served on a "mini bolo do caco" with cotidiano hollandaise, chives and seasonal salad. Ordering was quick, but seemed our order was lost as other tables arriving after us were served first. The extra wait time was not excessive as the wait and quality of the dishes were certainly worthy. The cost was surprisingly reasonable for such high quality and great tasting food. Recommended.   Food was great but the service was a bit slow (staff was nice!!). I went there for the vegan pancakes I saw they had on a menu here on google maps but apparently that menu isn’t updated and they don’t have them anymore. Kinda of a bummer, specially because the vegan options were basically limited to the usual avocado toast, although this one was great because of the hummus! I was happy they had vegan yogurt though (extra 1,5€ 😑) and the vanilla latte was super yummy. My boyfriend had pancakes and, although he liked them, the extra nutella was too pricey for the amount served.   Super awesome for a breakfast bagel in the afternoon. Service is excellent but kitchen seemed a little slow with only a few tables. I'm sure it gets worse during the busy times.   The food looks better than it tastes. I had the pancakes which weren't fluffy at all and just tasted like eggs. The portion is smaller compared to other cafes and the waiting times are pretty long.   A great place to eat in Lisbon for a breakfast, brunch or lunch. I love the options they offer, the food is delicious. The lattes are incredible - hot or iced. I love their avocado toast or breakfast burrito. I always tend to go back to this place. The place is really cute and the music playlist is to die for. I’m always im a good mood with their ‘90’s and 00’s RnB music selection. It’s a small place so there is a usually a line to get in.   I do not recommend this place for breakfast ,it took them almost 1 hour to prepare our food, the portions are small even for a girl, mine came completely cold and eggs undercooked , I haven’t finished it. Shakshuka 0/5 - this is reason I write this review. I travel a lot and I cook a lot. I took shakshuka in many countries. This one was the worst. Conserved tomato/pepper with some greasy fat cheese and benedict egg on top. Wife took pink benedict it’s 3/5 basically leafs and two eggs with pink mustard.   A hearty and filling brunch that lives up to its expectations. I arrived at 1:15pm so it was quite crowded, but the atmosphere was pleasant overall. The staff were friendly too 🫶🏽 I was most surprised by the beetroot hummus! Beware though, you might want to change ingredients in some of the plates. At the end of the day, there're not many alternatives for healthy foods.   Let’s start from the beginning. 20 mins waiting at the door: not waiting for a free table (there were several) but for a waiter to attend us and let us seat. It got 20 mins more to order (literally half of the food/drinks we wanted to order wasn’t available - included ice coffe… how can’t you have ice coffee in this kind of place?) and from there 40/45 mins to get served: 1 pancake and 1 brunch menu. Food: poor. The egg toast was ok, but the pancakes are among the worst I’ve tried in Lisbon. Nothing to compare with Dear Breakfast, for instance. The place is very small, so long queues are to be expected on weekends. The staff is clearly not organized.   Had two kids on our last morning before a flight. Asked how long a table would be and said it just needed cleaning down. Waited 10 mins for that, got the table, then got asked to leave - saying someone else was in front for takeout. We had been there 10 minutes and definitely hadn’t at all and if so - it was for takeout?!?! They had no empathy either and the woman just said basically she didn’t care as she didn’t have kids.   One of the best breakfast I’ve had! There was a line and I had to wait about 20minutes to be seated but that was okay for me. I had the Pink Benedict and a matcha latte.   Great little brunch venue in the centre of old Lisbon, not far from the waterfront. Bustling with people, and with a queue outside, it's clearly popular. Service wasn't too quick but the staff were friendly and the food was worth waiting for. I opted for the "Blowrito" - a breakfast burrito which also came with a delicious bowl of yoghurt and honey, loaded with fresh fruit and toasted seeds and nuts. Their matcha latte was pretty good, and absolutely beautifully presented (see photo!) The menu is online only but they have free wi-fi.   Completely over hyped imo. Perfect example for Instagram trend :) We waited 30-45 minutes on a Saturday morning, which was expected, to get seated. Then it took 25 minutes and 3 tables which got seated after us and ordered before us until we were able to order. It took a complain and another 10 minutes to get our drinks (coffee w/ milk, tea and mimosa's). It took then almost an hour to get a breakfast burrito which was already completely cold a d soaked up - The taste wasn't for me as it was too much stuff inside. The egg with toast.... Cold scrambled eggs and the toast was so hard that I worried about my teeth 🙈 The Joghurt and pancakes were apparently good. I'm total we spend unwillingly 60 euro for two persons and 2.5 hours for a breakfast a 12 year old could cook better. Fix your staff and the management or massively reduce prices..   We decided on this cafe as Dear Breakfast had a much longer queue and we didn’t want to wait too long. We were glad that we chose this place. Breakfast was great, very reasonably priced. We had 2 sets pancake lovers + extra nutella and that cost us exactly 30€. The 2 waitresses were exceptionally caring and friendly. The only few things I didn’t find too good was that the underside of the bacons and pancakes were burnt and the lemonade was way too sour to enjoy. I would definitely give this place another try! The place was full (kind of), but they still managed to find a table for us (2 + toddler), and later the waitress found us a better table, at which we could use the high chair for our daughter.   Slow service, mediocre food. Waited over 40 minutes for our simple brunch food. The bacon that came with my eggs on toast was burnt to a crisp and was completely black in colour. I asked the waiter about it and he said it was “crispy bacon”. Sorry but it was 100% burnt, not crispy bacon. I had to ask him again to tell him I was not happy and sent it back. The new one they brought was only slightly better, the bread was burnt (see photo). My fiancée got the pancake which came about 10 minutes after my food came.   Good coffee and quick service, quieter than some of the other well-reviewed cafes. The food was fresh (we had two salads) and the home made cracker was a delight.   I don’t get why this place has 4,8 stars. The food is just ok nothing special or great. Ordered an iced coffee along with the food , and got the worst coffee I have ever drunk. Asked for milk and they didn’t have any regular milk. Only soya or almond. They also charged extra for the tiny pot of milk they brought for my coffee !! Yes the pink bagel does look wow but the taste was so and so eggs were supposed to be poached but the white yolk was too runny The scrambled eggs was nice dish. Really??? No defined not 4,8. Sorry.   Must visit when in Lisbon. Cosy cafe with amazing food. We tried avocado toast, and pink hummus with cereal bread(they make their own) and it’s the best thing we have tried so far with amazing coffee to go - and vegan too.   Good service, pleasant space, instagramable food. But lacked in taste, in my honest opinion. The eggs were raw, the shakshuka didn’t have the right condiments.
