  This restaurant is the best out of all the other arabic restaurants, it has great food with delicious dishes, full of flavor and uniqueness. I also love how it’s very traditionally decorated especially the paintings and the plants. It also make the food very quick so you don’t have to wait very long like the other restaurants, the employees are very sweet and they teach you about their culture when they give you the dishes. In conclusion this is one of the best restaurants I have visited. I recommend it very much!   First time I was in a group and I thought it a very noisy and expensive restaurant. Syrian food indifferent in quality and in very small amounts. Employees seemed overburdened because they broke glasses and were not very attentive neither responsive. A wine bottle which costs €2 at supermarket was sold €18,50. Then, the owner answered my critique - in a very adequate and generous mood. So, I went back and we were marvelously attended with excellent food and esquisite care.   I am so fortunate that I stumbled over this place by coincidence when walking the streets. The cuisine is amazing! I really like that you order with a tablet and pictures for each dish including the ingredients. This provides very transparent expectations. The food itself comes really as demonstrated in the pics! I really loved the choice I made. Super delicious and aromatic. Next time I will also get some starters to taste. And the food is really good quality - you can taste that! Also the lemonade was fantastic - different and in my opinion even better than the standard lemonade, as they also add ginger, honey, lemon, mint and rose water to it. Fancy, eh?!   We went here for dinner. Made a reservation for 7, but was the first set of customers as they open at 7. We had the falafel - yummy with the hummus and muhamara - both amazing. Even the bread was delicious. Our mains were the Fattet Jaj (frango ) and the Herrak Esbao. My friend and I are Indian and the herrak reminded her of dal while the fattet reminded me of biriyani. Both were yummy, but my personal favorite was the fattet. Our fav of all - dessert: Syrian ice cream??? Everything was super delicious, the spot is cute. Such a great find and hidden gem I think. Size of the dish is roughly enough for 1.5 people, so I recommend sharing dishes because it can easily reach 30€/person if you don't do it.   Overpriced and blend food. I had Fatet makdous and my friend had lamb. The fatet had no taste and it was too watery and the lamb was tasteless as well. I even had a stomach ache that nigh since the food was greasy as well. I had real Syrian food many times and it tasted nothing like it.   A cute humble family restaurant, nothing too fancy but it's just perfect. The food is absolutely superb. Had 2 starters (vine leaves and the triple appetizer) and 2 mains (two kinds of kufta) and we loved all of them. Even though it was quite a lot of food all plates were left clean. You can really feel the home style cooking and the huge amount of love they put into their food. Whenever I'll get the chance to visit Lisbon again I'm definitely going back here.   It was my second time trying out this restaurant to give them benefit of doubt. But tbh it was disappointing. I had two dishes and both of them was bellow average and overpriced. They serve halal meat but a lot of alcoholic beverages in their menu. Of course I respect your right to server Alcohol in your restaurant but I personally wouldn’t recommend to a fellow Muslim who value the concept of Halal eating not just Halal meat.   I knew I wanted to try this place after reading the low reviews. All complained about it being closed or the service. No one complained about the food. And for good reason - the food is LEGENDARY. Loved every bite. The salad had a bit of cilantro in it, we let them know and it was replaced. The knaffe was possibly the best I’ve ever had.   Wow! Big recommendation! The food is super tasty and extremely well seasoned! It's unlike the food I eat on a regular basis and the owner told us that the dishes always vary a little bit each week. They had about 8 or 10 main dishes to choose from and vegetarian as well as meaty option. Everybody should be able to find something here and it's still not overwhelming. I feel like I could've tried everything there! It all looked delicious. The service and the owner were very nice and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also nice and quite.   I love how this restaurant combines healthy yet delicious food and on top of that lets you discover syrian culture. Right from the beginning they informed us about the size of the portions which are indeed quite big. So it can be a good idea to share one main dish between two people. However, if you go for a vegetarian option, judging from what we got, keep in mind that it may be quite light despite being big in size. Prices are definitely above the average, because it's more than 10€ per portion. Considering the atmosphere inside the restaurant, friendly staff and quality of dishes it is definitely worth visiting it. The downsides were a time spent waiting for the order, it was almost 30min for us, and the bathroom, which doesn't even look like it belongs to this elegant place.   We went with high expectations and came up with mixed impressions. Some of the dishes were very good (the mains), some were excellent (the desserts), but they made a mess of the ones that should be very simple (mezzes or starters). The Hummos is what I can't forgive them for. Poured straight out of a can without even an attempt to add any value (or taste). The bread is not really Arabic bread.   Having grown up in the Middle East, the food here is a delight for the senses and has brought me back to my childhood.   This was our first experience dinning at a Syrian restaurant. We enjoyed our meal very much as well the establishment and the owners. They were friendly, and very helpful in explaining the menu to us. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the unique experience.   Traveling two week all over Portugal with our Canadian friends, we wanted a break from the Portugese food and got real lucky to have found this restaurant. The food was excellent in taste and presentation and reasonably priced. The husband and wife owners are refugees from Syria and are using "old family recipes" with menus changing weekly. Am so glad in seeing so many positive reviews from local tour guides so more travelers can enjoy this "oasis" of food.   Absolutely delicious! My boyfriend is from Syria and when we travel we always go to try Syrian food. This was by far the best! The limonada with mint and rose water was so refreshing. Our mixed appetizers were full of flavor. The kibbeh and labneh were my favorites. Amazing staff that made us feel at home. Beautiful ambience and decorations. Will definitely come back! Shoukran!   Wonderful, fresh and tasty Syrian food for a fair price. Just outside Parque das Nações and near Moscavide Metro station. Friendly staff and we were lucky to have a violin player playing live during our dinner. Also we were told the menu gets frequent additions, so there is plenty to explore. Recommended.
