I went with a friend and she ordered the Turkish eggs while I ordered the salmon ricotta toast. It was very busy on a Monday noon yet the service was attentive and good.   This is now my number one breakfast spot in Lisbon. I was here a week and tried many places. The food is delicious- I also loved the hot chocolate- very rich in flavor.   Unfortunately, this café is not worth the 4.6 rating, nowhere near… We were the only customers when we arrived and had to wait everything for quite some time. We were told when we arrived that this is a French café, so we thought they must have good ‘special’ coffees then. The cappuccino (admittedly Italian, but still…) was below the bar, did not taste like coffee at all, the steamed milk was horrible and I’m not sure if there was even one shot of espresso in it. The avocado bread was ok. The service slow and partly a bit rude. Lesson learnt; never go to the worst tourist area joints for coffee/lunch/anything.   Disappointing smoothy bowl. Walked past this place yesterday, looked nice and welcoming. Come in for smoothy bowl and coffee.   Nice brunch place, but overrated. It wasn’t crowded, still had to wait half an hour for the service. Staff is nice, but the food is just average. Looks fancy however, it feels basic and cheap to me (croissant, bacon, guacamole…). The poached egg was overcooked. If Nutella is explicitly mentioned on the menu, I expect Nutella, not some inferior substitute. Coffee was below average, but at least the daily smoothie was delicious.   So you have been looking for somewhere for breakfast. You stumble upon Quase Cafe. Looks good at first. But it’s all a lie. The food was very average. Not amazing at all. Tomatoes were gross. Scrambled eggs were tasteless. Now for the coffee I can’t be kind. I ordered an oat milk cappuccino (simple order) it came un- drinkable, we sent back and was bad again. We both work in cafes making coffee in London and the staff had the cheek to try argue “ this is how it’s done” Yeah well it’s done bad. Loads of flies inside.   Had breakfast at Quase cafe just before my flight with 2 friends. I ordered the healthy combo about 15 euros which included a yogurt with granola, juice of the day, oat pancakes, avocado toast with poached egg and some fruit. The food was delicious and fresh, for mine and my friends, however the toast was a little stale and I was underwhelmed by the size of the pancake. That being said the oat pancake was very good and is my recommendation. My last criticism is the service is slow, as it took close to 30 mins for our food to be served, what I did enjoy was the kindness and joy the staff showed. Would definitely eat here again!!   So first off want to say the staff were nice but sad to say that there are much better breakfast destinations. Iced coffee was a bizarre exp (bitter and mostly froth - fyi this image is confusing but it has no milk, app that is the ice) and 3 fruit juice was basically water, couldn’t taste any fruit. Poached eggs and avocado was fine, cold and hard but fine, mushroom and bread was nice.   Our family recently visited the Quase Café while on vacation in Lisbon. We liked it so much we went there twice in three days! Our waitress was Silvia and she had the kindest disposition and even offered to take a family photo for us. The food was exceptional and the presentation of the food was just as great. I would highly recommend this location and if I ever go back to Lisbon, will be sure to make another trip to this café.   It’s very expensive compared to other breakfast places I’ve been around al fama. The menu is restricted whatever you change in the “combo” you have to pay extra so I recommend they keep it simple It’s on a hill so sitting outside is kinda weird.   Organization and drinks were a mess. They tried to seat us in segments. There was two tables of two seats and we were three, the waiter told us for two of us to sit down and when the other table was ready the other person could sit down. As it is a very narrow alley and the tables are in the middle, it felt weird to have two of us sit. We tried to explain we would wait and the waiter got upset and walked away. When we finally were seated they took extremely long to take our order, the entire process of workers felt disorganized. Once we got our drinks The hot chocolate was actually hot fudge…like a paste and not drinkable. The juices were extremely watered down and at €3 I expected more. Latte was the only thing that was decent to drink. The food itself was mostly decent, with the eggs slightly dry but overall okay. Would not come back though, aside from the terrible service, long wait, it’s expensive for what you get and not worth the experience.   In my top 3 breakfast places in Lisbon. Go for the set menu and you will be surprised! Very good price for the quality and you can easily share it between 3 people (not 2) as it’s huge! I came here before heading to the castle and it was an amazing start to the day - I got the combo with scrambled eggs, potatoes sausage and toasted garlic bread with mozzarella - AMAZING. I came pretty early as a solo traveler and was able to get a set but by around 10 it started getting more busy and some groups had to wait. So delicious though!   There was a line outside so if you want to go make a reservation or calculate in extra time. The Avocado toast and açaí bowl were nice although the açaí bowl was still quite frozen. Service is good! They should invest in a juicer because there ‘juices’ are made in a blender and have too much pulp. We didn’t get to try their cheese toast but it looked amazing.   We came here twice for breakfast as this place is just amazing. It's so cute the setting and the music they play is an old school soul. The staff are super friendly. The second day was my partners birthday when we came in and the staff came in as a surprise with a free little cake and candle and sang my partner happy birthday. It was just amazing and we were both really happy. The food and coffee were also amazing. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs and the following day a toast with scrambled eggs and hollandaise sauce. My partner had a pancake for her second day and she liked it. Quase Café is about 100 paces from the best spot in Lisbon to catch the stunning sunrise. All the menus you can choose from are simply a feast for one each, most with two drinks (juice + tea/coffee) included. Go and indulge! Slightly on the expensive side but if you're hungry and looking to spoil yourself, this is the place. Staff is marvellous, the decor really matches the narrow-street hipster cafe vibe. Can be quite packed and doesn't have a lot of tables, but the wait isn't usually too bad (5-10mins max). Definitely try Hakuna Matata - their Eggs Benedict with red pepper are to literally die for.   This was one of the most wonderful find ever in Lisbon. It is a very cosy place with a wonderful host. Almost everything we had here was just out of the world & so many vegetarian/vegan options!   Favourite brunch place! So many tasty options. We were in Lisbon for about 3 days and went to Quase Café every single morning.   My friends and I went for a walk to Miraduro das portas do sol (amazing viewpoint btw) and after the hike up there we were looking for a place to grab a bite and to have some coffee. When we checked on Google for the nearest place this one was the first to pop up. It's located in a quiet cobbled street with a little arrow pointing to it. The place is really small with only like 5 tables inside, but is full of character. So many small details make this place unique! We were greeted by the friendliest, nicest girl around. She took really good care of us. All 4 of us ordered brunch and the value you get for your money is amazing! It comes with coffee and freshly squeezed fruit juice (or smoothie). If you go there you MUST try their croissants - they are so warm and buttery like they were made in heaven. The granola with yogurt and fresh fruit was also very good. Nothing was too much trouble and you could feel the warm and friendly welcome. If I ever go back to Lisbon I will be visiting again for sure! Ela cuidou muito bem de nós. Todos nós quatro pedimos brunch e o valor que você recebe pelo seu dinheiro é incrível! Acompanha café e suco de frutas espremido na hora (ou smoothie). Se você for lá, DEVE experimentar os croissants - eles são tão quentes e amanteigados como se tivessem sido feitos no céu. A granola com iogurte e frutas frescas também foi muito boa. Nada era demais e você podia sentir a recepção calorosa e amigável. Se algum dia voltar a Lisboa irei visitar novamente com certeza!

  Absolutely outstanding. Very cute little cafe. Brunch was delicious and the staff were charming. Very affordable and the larger brunch options come with heaps to try without any one thing being too big. The larger options are still a lot of food, fair warning.   We're in love with this place! Total chance decision to go here, but we enjoyed the best chocolate cake we've had in a while, as well as the friendliest service you can imagine. The cafe is small and the service is personal. Honest, warm, friendliness from the heart and not learned at tourism school. I would also recommend the Matcha Tea. My wife vouches for the home made Ice Tea.   We were a group of 5 and we all LOVED this breakfast spot! If we'd had more time, we would have gone back. Many options, reasonable prices, friendly service, fresh juices... I can go on.
