  Everything was okay / average. The place is nice looking, the views are nice, the staff is nice, welcoming and attentive as well. The food is okay. We had starters, main and dessert. Nothing stood out, all food is alright.   We really enjoyed our dinner here! The salad we ordered was excellent, with a warm dressing that made it so delicious! My husband had a pizza and I had a pasta dish - both were very good. We ordered chocolate cake and apple pie for dessert and really enjoyed them! The setting on their patio overlooking the marina was so nice, and large umbrellas protected us from the rain squall that struck suddenly! Our server was a lovely young woman who was very friendly and accommodating to some food allergies I have! One warning that the noise from the bridge almost overhead is quite loud - it didn’t bother is but might be an issue for some people.   Worst service ever, I had to wait 30 mins to get a table, totoally forgot about my order and didn't even pay attention that other people, who came after, got their food before and I'm didnt, eventually, I didn't eat as it was almost mid night, instead of coming to apologize, one if them came to ask me where I'm from, not sure what difference that would make, apparently you have to be from certain countries and certain pay grade to eat thier pizza !!!!!   I had the pleasure of visiting Lisbon on business this week and luckily came across this fantastic restaurant. This place was very busy, and I wanted to see what the fuss was about. I wasn't disappointed the food was excellent, the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was very good 👌. The choices were as expected and very reasonably priced. Going back to the food, we had a pizza that had a delicious 😋 authentic base with top-quality ingredients on top, we also had lasagna, which was equally as delicious. We ordered 2 l jug of Sangria, waiter came with a small glass of juice and persisted claiming that we ordered it even through we did not and we told him so. Waiter forgot about one dessert and one main dish. We had to remind them of it. They did not offer to pour drinks for us. One waiter came and tried taking a friend's plate even though she did not finish eating yet. He tried doing so 3 times. We asked for a bill and waited 40 minutes for it. Eventually we had to go the manager to get it. The attidude of the majority of waiters was very unfriendly. We've been in Lisbon for a while now and rude waiters is not a shock to any of us anymore, but after tonight we all agreed that Capriciossa's team offered the worst customer service we saw in Portugal. Manager offered us a discount after we complained, which we appreciate. However I cannot recommend the place, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, hopefully with a more professional staff.   Very nice mood and great view to the river and the bridge. Seating outside was very pleasant but got full for dinner, better to go early or book a table . The service was fast and the staff were nice. The bruschetta were very tasty, the pizza dough was amazing and super thin, but the rest of the pizza didn't have a lot of flavor. I am writing this review from the porcelain throne of another establishment, having spent the last twenty minutes reliving the meal I had an hour ago at Capricciosa, but backwards. I told several of the waiters a few times that I am coeliac / can only eat gluten-free food. They assured me I would be fine and they served me the carpaccio salad (without crutons or truffle sauce but with fried onions). Before eating it I asked again - and was told it's fine. To say that I was not fine is a spectacular understatement, and the sewer cleaners of Lisbon have had to work harder today because of it. I hadn't eaten anything before or after that meal today, so I am sure Capricciosa's kitchen staff were either incompetent, lying, or a mix of both.   Our server (young girl, long curly brown hair in a ponytail) took about 20 minutes to even give us menus, which we took upon ourselves to get from another table. Finally when she came, she was rude, made it seem like we were wasting her time when really she wasted ours because we sat for 20 minutes just waiting her to acknowledge our precense. When we told her our order, she wasn’t even looking at us and what do you know, 3 of our 4 orders were incorrect and had to send them back because of her lack of effort. Food was decent but service so was terrible I am happy to write this review.   Wet and soggy pizza.... that about sums up this place. The view beside the water is a major attraction but the bridge of 25th April just above and the constant traffic above your head is a constant drone and really puts a damper on any enjoyment of the view. The service staff seems to be absent most of the time and the service is slow as a result. And when the pizza does come it is not cooked enough on the base leaving it wet and soggy.   The place and the view are great, but I will definitely not come here again. The service is terrible, they have plenty of empty tables and still make you wait 20 mins to have a seat, and the food is nothing to write home about. The dishes LOOK pretty, but the pizza was their only saving grace. The orange juice was not even natural. And the bathrooms had water all over the floor. Do not recommend.
