It’s conveniently located at a junction with trams going by - and a tram stop nearby making this a great spot to start the day.   We arrived 5:30pm for a coffe since it was open and the waiter said they had reservation for 9pm and we agreed. Then suddenly they came saying that we needed to leave at 7pm because they just accepted guests for dinner. Its fair enough IF they were clear since the beginning. They were arrogant in the explanation and it caused a bad atmosphere for a small thing. Unfortonately this is being happening often in Lisbon and its a real shame. The food was amazing (highly recommend the key lime pie, and the pica pau) though everything was delicious. The restaurant has a great ambiance, the staff were very friendly and if you’re like me and don’t speak much Portuguese, most of the staff spoke English and they had English translations on the menu.   We’ve got a brioche with cheese and mushrooms, vegan burger, croissant and cappuccinos. For us all food was too heavy. Maybe they can add some green salad on a side or veggies. Because after eating there we both was walking and didn’t feel good. Also they serve kinda Portugese coffee. I’m not a big fan I’m more a specialty coffee person.   The place is very cute and has a large menu. Our original waiter was very professional, but his shift ended while we were there and the new waitress was very quiet and said minimal words. Needed a vegetarian meal, so ordered avocado tacos which came with avocado and guac. The waiter said they didn’t have the guac anymore, however, we were served hard shell taco shells, with ice burg lettuce, a few pieces of arugula, mango chunks and tomato’s. There was NO avocado, no sauce of any kind. This was a painful meal to eat for 11 Euro and wins as the worst vegetarian meal I’ve ever seen. They didn't have the brownies my friends asked for. They charged me 1 euro for decaf and 1 euro more for oat milk. It doesn't make sense to me, other than greedy mind.   The interior design and general atmosphere of this spot is very cool, however my coffee was sub par. For such a hipster/funky coffee spot I was expecting more. The oat milk was poorly heated so the milk was flat instead of creamy in texture, with a little hill of bubbles on top of the flat consistency, tell tales signs of a dodgy cappuccino. However the roast had a nice flavour so perhaps it was just a bad day on the barista's part. An oat milk capucino will cost you €3.20. I didn't eat there so I can't review anything else.   Maria Food Hub is a wonderful place!! The food is amazing - combines some Portuguese favourite’s ingredients with flavours from the rest of the world, that are innovative, healthy and comforting to most, I believe. The service is attentive and super friendly- nothing is too much for their lovely smiley staff! The feeling I get every time I go back is that of a very chilled out environment, where you can meet with friends or simply go there by yourself and leave nourished and at peace.   We've been there a week ago and I ordered tuna. I must say it was one of the best I've eaten. The presentation was great and the taste was incredible!   It's overpriced for what it is. The brunch specials don't come with beverage so the price was high for a slice of bread that wasn't even that big. There are cheaper places that offer more in the same quality (cause things are tasty) and bigger portions. After 11.30 am they don't have breakfast sweet things just some cakes. It's a nice place to go and work but thats it. And the service was a little annoying because i was talking with a friend and they came to try to pick things up when we were not even finished. So anxiously and disturbed our nice conversation. They even took my friend's coffee and he was not finish, so i would not recommend to go with a friend to catch up, as you will get disturbed several times.   Stumbled across this incredible neighbourhood restaurant in a hipster part of Lisbon. Delicious food, great wine & cocktails selection and lovely vibes all round + very affordable. As a veggie it’s always hard to find good food when travelling but this spot had some very tasty interpretations. Definitely recommend the vegan prego sandwich made with saffron tofu steaks and chimichuri on homemade bread - soooo good especially when you drink it with a P&T (white port & tonic). They also serve beyond meat burgers topped with melty vegan cheese & crispy onions and lots of really fresh and filling salads using quality ingredients. The staff were all incredibly friendly especially Miguel, whose wine knowledge and food recommendations really helped to make the experience 5 star! Great spot, so great, I came here several times during my one week visit in Lisbon. Highly recommend!   Went there to have beyond meat burgers and oysters but ended up ordering the bowl with tempeh. The bowl could have needed a bit more flavor or some kind of dressing besides soy sauce but in general it was fresh and tasted decent. My Partner had the braised Tuna and it was the best he ever had. I didn't like that the starters were served with my main course and not before. The starter - shrimp with coriander, garlic and sourdough bread was incredible though! Very tasty. About the oysters, advertised as "Weekend Special" - they were not available on a Sunday, which was very disappointing :( The staff was very friendly and attentive.   I’ve been a few times to this lovely restaurant/bar in a great area of Lisbon, the service provided by the staff was exceptional they are very helpful and friendly.   Really cute brunch spot in Lisbon. Came here while on vacation and during our trip we stopped by multiple times. The decor inside the hub is beautiful and creates a nice atmosphere for having a get together with friends or using the space for studying. There's also a patio you can use to if the weather permits.   We discovered this place on our first day in Lisbon and decided to have breakfast here. We didn’t regret at all. Staff is very friendly. Food catered for all diets, vegan, vegetarian, fish and meat available all day. We enjoyed so much that we end up going there every day even if was for a cup of coffee.   I liked the interior of this place, the variability of the desserts presented… that’s all.. food was salty and not tasty.   Excellent FOOD. A very creative menu, using local produce, as well as a mix of Portugal's best. I had the spinach, cucumber and pineapple juice and eggs "Sk... sh... Maria" DELISH! Wonderful ice coffee and chocolate finger sized rich cake. Really nice atmosphere. We stayed inside and I can already imagine this being a great and cosy place in the colder months too. Lovely to see such a well though of and well decorated place, in a beautiful old Portuguese building.   My favorite new neighborhood spot!! I had the red juice (watermelon, beetroot and mint... YUM!), guacamole toast and topped it off with a baby banana loaf and coffee.
