  This is not Korean. Complete bait and switch if you’ve actually been to a Korean BBQ. But worst of all, the meat was barely edible. Chewing rubber. Very annoyed. Meat was wrong. Rice was wrong.   Food is good. But we didn’t enjoy the whole experience. Servers were urging us to finish our meal in only one hour, so that they can arrange table for next guests. Even though we already reserved a table before. Re:At the first place, we didn’t get the explanation for why we had to rush for our dinner. It’s just “Can you finished in one hour?We have other guests subsequently.” As my previous experience, I didn’t have to check the expired time for any reservation,unless they called me back and checked personally.   It was really fun and an interesting concept. Food it’s very abundant, tasty and it’s really well balanced with the price. The place itself is quite small so it can get noicy and smelly too.   We made a reservation tonight taking our chance given the short notice. Luckily they were able to accommodate. We brought our 7 month old baby in a stroller and they managed to make sure we and space. The food served were amazing. But for me the highlight was the service 🥰 They were very attentive but made sure not disturbing your dining experience. The ladies serving us were friendly, warm and professional. I was only able to get the names of the two ladies. There were 3 of them. Thank you Bina, Jessica and the other blonde lady that made our experience superb. We will definitely come back.   Food was very good and diverse. Great experience, I highly recommend it. The combo 35€ is more than enough for 2 people. We also asked for the fried rice and gyozas, which were also very good. On the downside was the waiting time. We called to make a reservation. Told us to arrive between 8.30 and 9pm. We arrived at 9 and had to wait outside in the cold until 9.30 to be seated.   Decided to try, Han Table Barbeque, which specializes in Korean BBQ. Two other locations in town along with one in Porto. Service was excellent; they switched out our BBQ grill several times, even offering to help cook the meats. - Honey citron tea (2,85€) - Banchan - squid, olives, peanuts, pickled radish and seaweed salad. Refills are an additional charge. The olives side dish was strange (clearly catering to the local palette). - Han combination platters (35,00€) - more than enough for two. Our favourite meats were the squid (fresh), chicken (excellent marinade) and goat. Wish they gave a few more lettuce wraps. Plenty of meats at HTB. 4.5 stars.   As a Korean, my expectation was probably way too high, even in Portugal. They didn't have non-flavored soju, nor makguli, nor Cass beer in stock even when they were on the menu. Banchan and meat that we grilled mimicked what they claim to be but were underwhelming. Banchan and kimchi were very far from anything I knew. The staff seemed to be mostly Chinese. It's probably a good experience for many, but if you had good Korean food before, I do not recommend this place.   I can't express how amazing this restaurant is, if you haven't been to a Korean BBQ before then this is the place to start. The service is impeccable, with the waitresses offering to take photos of the table (we even got a little video), offering suggestions to how to cook the meat (try the thin mushrooms mixed in the chicken sauce!!) And wonderful service throughout. The food was incredible, using our tongs we were guided on the best ways to chop/cook the meat. I would suggest you get the chicken drumstick meat as it is delicious. And the sides!! I could go on for hours, the beansprouts were amazing, the peanutty thing was divine.   First time at a Korean bbq and we had a reservation for 7pm. They could not find our reservation when we arrived but eventually they did. There seemed to be a lot of confusion. The room itself is dark and uninviting in my opinion. Could do with some updating. The 2 female servers were very friendly and explained how the barbecue works. We chose the tasting platter for €32 - with a selection of prawns, beef, chicken , pork belly, goat. We also ordered some sides of rice & seafood pancake. The food itself was good especially the prawns and the marinated beef & chicken. Service was very fast and we were in and out quickly.   One of the worst service from a waitress I have ever received. We booked for 830pm then called them 1 hour prior saying we would be 10 minutes late. When we got there they told us we would get a table in 5 minutes but then proceeded to let us wait outside for 30 mins. When we went to pay it was cash only which was no problem, our bill was 42euro and we have them 50 but they did not have change and insisted thst we buy a drink so we could be rounded up to 45.   The food was delicious there is nothing to say but somethings were still a bit off. They only accept cards from Portugal so its not tourist friendly (make sur you have cash). They do not give the receipt unless you have a NIF. One of the workers told us that it was like that in the portugal which is true but we have been to multiple others and never had this problem in different restaurants. It is not possible to buy a bowl of rice. you have to pay for an extra bulgogi to get the rice ☹️ The meat was well seasoned and the staf helpfull with cooking the meat. Also they give a free bottle of soju if you give a review which I think is really nice !   I went to another Han table bbq in Lisbon and had loved it so much that I figured I'd bring a friend here since it was closer to me. I couldn't help but keep comparing this han table with the other hand table bbq. Basically it's the same restaurant but different locations so it shouldn't be that different. This one was smaller and it's so noisy you can't even hear the other person talking. We asked for the set for 32€ to share between 2 people - the food was less than in the other restaurant since for the other we were 3 people and we were so full already, but here for 2 people and I'm sure they gave us less ingredients, I came out not feeling very satisfied, also the waitress not so nice , didn't explain everything and didn't help us that much, for someone new to the k bbq they should have imo - which they did with the other Han bbq. The worse was that the lettuce in the other rest. was always free, but here only the first 3 pieces or so were free, the rest if you wanted extra you had to pay extra. I asked the waitress why the rules were different if it's the same restaurant just different locations, she said it's just like that, no explanation . The makgeolli ( traditional alcohol) also wasn't of the best quality - didn't like it here at all. Pedimos o conjunto por 32€ para partilhar entre 2 pessoas - a comida era menos que no outro restaurante pois no outro éramos 3 pessoas e já estávamos tão cheios, mas aqui para 2 pessoas e tenho a certeza que deram nós menos ingredientes, saí não me sentindo muito satisfeito, também a garçonete não foi tão simpática, não explicou tudo e não nos ajudou muito, para alguém novo no k churrasco eles deveriam ter imo - o que eles fizeram com o outro churrasco Han. O pior foi que a alface do outro descansou. era sempre gratuito, mas aqui apenas as primeiras 3 peças eram gratuitas, o resto, se você quisesse mais, teria que pagar mais. Perguntei à garçonete por que as regras eram diferentes se eram o mesmo restaurante, apenas locais diferentes, ela disse que é assim mesmo, sem explicação. O makgeolli (álcool tradicional) também não era da melhor qualidade - não gostei nada daqui.
