  I had a pretty good experience at this restaurant, it’s themed like an American roadside diner, the food is good and I really liked coming here, the first time I ate here I ordered a burger and the second I ordered a steak, I recommend getting a burger because the steak is more expensive and had a lot of nerves in it so it’s not as good as the burger, which is marvellous, o regret not asking for the strawberry milkshake as the drink, I had it as desert and it was soo good… Also amazing view of the marques de Pombal. Hamburger was the worst of over 100 places around the globe and fries almost raw and non-salted. If I had a dog, I would think twice even to feed it with this delivacy.   The name of this place is ironically correct. It is in fact a disaster. Let me start with the good part: it has a nice view over the roundabout of Marquês do Pombal and that's about it. Staff was ok. We ordered onion rings for a starter. The waitress brought the starter with the sauces but we had no plates to eat the onion rings. My partner ordered a burger with cream and mushrooms, came with a side of fries. Worst sauce I have tasted in my life, it had an intense sort of almost moldy flavour about it. I ordered a medium stake (supposed to be tenderloin) but I seriously believe it's a cheaper cut has it had lots of nerves and it wasn't even tender. Moreover, wasn't medium but was well done. Both our fries were horrible, like the oil they were fried in was two years long. The bathroom, I cannot even begin to describe but it was so bad that i didn't even went inside. Burgers are medium tending to the rare side (which is the proper way to eat a burger IMO), so if you've a weak stomach ask for it to be prepared more well done. Atmosphere is a great rendition of a classic 1950s styled burger joint. It is on the second floor so look for the large stairs to gain entry.   Decent burgers and friendly service. We had no issues with the speed of service it was quite quiet when we got there but no complaints here. Google maps can make finding the place awkward. It takes you to the street but is not near the entrance you have to enter the mall and there is a set of stairs at the back. Go up those stairs and you will find it.   I would have loved to say that I had an amazing experience, being that this was gonna be my first diner experience, but as the name suggests , it was indeed a great American disaster. I was really disappointed, It was my friend's birthday and it would have been polite for her to have a really nice meal to make it extra special. Starting off with the seating, although it is really appealing it was really not comfortable. There were four of us in a booth and we had to alternate legs to remain at least a little comfortable. The glasses of water which were served were stinking like stale milk, which made the water taste really bad, it was sad to say that we didn't even enjoy the water. I had a burger which came with chilli and although I admit I didn't know that chilli is beans, the burger really wasn't good and it was not because of the chilli. The onions were unbearably sweet, we all felt like we were having a dessert. With having a burger the least you can expect is to at least have some nice crispy fries and and it was again disappointing, they were really really soggy. I am sad to say that the only thing we enjoyed was the cocktail sauce and I can make that at home in 2 minutes. We should have known that we weren't going to enjoy the experience because we were complaining even before the food came. I will say that you'll at least do one thing, which is to live up to your name. As cebolas estavam insuportavelmente doces, todos nós sentíamos como se estivéssemos comendo uma sobremesa. Ao comer um hambúrguer, o mínimo que você pode esperar é pelo menos algumas batatas fritas crocantes e, novamente, foi decepcionante, elas estavam realmente encharcadas. EU Lamento dizer que a única coisa que gostamos foi o molho de coquetel e posso prepará-lo em casa em 2 minutos.   I'm not sure what more needs to be said, these 5 star reviews definitely seem faked. Visited at lunch time on a Monday, the restaurant itself looks nice and fresh and has a good atmosphere but the food is just not worth your money. The Onion rings were pale and had burn marks on them meaning they either microwaved them or barely bothered frying them (no crunch at all). The burger was alright, wasn't served hot but it definitely felt lacking for the price. Not to mention the choices you have for burgers are limited and they clearly want you to spend more on extra toppings like cheese and bacon. The fries were pretty disappointing too, not sure how you can mess fries up as they're literally already pre cut and all you have to do is fry them but alright. The coleslaw is literally just two lettuce bits with vinegar and salt. I had visited this place 10 years before and it still hasn't improved, this could have such big potential especially for the location but they choose to offer lazy lacking service instead.   A great Burger place offering a True American experience in the classical diner style. I was totally swept away with their signature burger, the "Cheesy González", with meat, bacon, egg, cheese and Chilli with peppers. For any burger fan this is a must go to (if you haven't already!).   Well we didn’t come with too much expectations but this place didn’t even live up to the little we had . The chicken burger was really just a thick bun with some random sauce splashed and the chicken patty was tasteless . There were so many waiters and waitresses but it seemed like they didn’t care too much about their job. The milkshakes are sooo sweet and defnitely not worth the cost .   Don't do it... perfect name. Ordered onion rings... laughed when they put them in front of us because they were tiny and an odd color. Looked more like calamari. (see picture) One bite (which upset my stomach all night) and told the waiter they were raw. Warm, soggy, uncooked mess. Manager came over, told me he took it off the bill and then argued with me that they were in fact cooked...they don't cook them crunchy. Ok whatever. Waitress offered us cheesy garlic bread instead, on the house. Never got them. 3 of us ordered cheeseburgers, I ordered steak. The cheese burgers had cheddar cheese, and then this gooey, sweet, buttered popcorn cheesy mess all over them. What's this? Oh that's the cheese... um no, THIS is the cheese, this is a mess. No where on the menu did it say, " Burger, cheese, cheese sauce" Asked them to take my little one's back and redo. Other 2 ate as is, upset bellies all night.   I went here because it had a fairly high rating on google and it was near my hotel and I was short on time and wanted to eat. Maybe it was because I didn't during a traditional lunch hour (around 2ish or 3ish), but the place we utterly empty aside from me which I think should have tipped me off. However, I sat down and ordered. My burger was served to me warm and not hot, the same for the fries. The meat was clearly just a frozen FMCG patty and the nothing was that good. Given that I essentially paid the same price that I could get a premium burger for at home I was not happy. Stay away from this place the food is terrible. The wait staff are fine as is the decor, but I don't go to restaurants for good staff and decor, I go for good food. Dado que paguei essencialmente o mesmo preço que poderia comprar um hambúrguer premium em casa, não fiquei feliz. Fique longe deste lugar a comida é terrível. A equipe de garçons é boa, assim como a decoração, mas eu não vou a restaurantes por causa de uma boa equipe e decoração, eu gosto de boa comida.

  The place was very nice and tidy, staff was friendly and the food was good. Even the view is very nice! Unfortunately we happened to visit on a night that a dozen teenagers showed how not to behave in public and we ended up screaming at each other to be able to hear over the noise. Also the bathroom is down the hallway which is a bit if an inconvenience. I've been to this restaurante a few times and I've noticed in the earlier days the food was more tasteful and clients were treated better. The last time I went there a waiter, with no orders in hand, passed my table at least 3 times, even after calling him, before asking if we ordered. In the end we were full but the prices and quality of the food are not right according to my understanding. If I was to write this review about 2 years ago I would have give it a 5 stars.
