  We got 2 take away pizza. The pizza here is more expensive than other places but the taste was very basic. Also, carbonara pizza did not taste like carbonara at all (especially the spicy salami).   Went in for an evening meal, hadn't booked a table but the supervisor found a table outside, it was raining by this time, so I got soaked, the waiter didn't offer to move us under shelter, as he had no tables left, but clearly was at least 3 in the middle of the outdoor seating, we weren't very impressed and he was more interested a group of females that were outside who he invited indoors. Menu looked promising but the attitude was not very good towards us. They seemed to have 5 or 6 servers but really only one doing any work.   The risotto was lovely except of a piece of a cold white fish on top, that tasted raw. The pizza was all right. The waters were slow to take an order and super slow to give us a table. We were waiting outside and looking at the menus for 10 min or so and had to ask for a table. It was not busy that evening and they had most of the tables free. Pasta (Tortelloni) costs about 15€ and doesn't fill you up at all (would need to be double the size). But it's very delicious! So please make bigger pasta portions, otherwise it's overpriced. Finally we were seated and were provided with minimal attention from the waiter who barely spoke to us as he was taking our order. The pasta was good but not spectacular.   We booked a table via Google reservation. We were sat down and given the English menu without asking which was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered our food and less then 10 mins later we had our food and drinks. You could quite easily be done here within 30/40 mins if you’re fast eater. Everything looked very tasty, but it wasn't I was upset by the taste and the prices where too high, at least for the pasta. I do not recommend the pasta with Parmigiano, it does not taste like that.   Pasta tasted good. Tried their specialty. Service was a bit sloppy. Wobbling table, lack of proper itens on the table like a spoon for the spaghetti. What bothered the most was the lemonade I got served , with a cinnamon stick in it and peppermint. Peppermint was clearly not fresh and the cinnamon had mold on it.   Perhaps the food was good or even great. We couldn't tell because we decided to leave due to horrible service. Indeed, we sat there for nearly fifteen minutes without anyone checking with us. We were completely forgotten by whoever was assigned to us. As no one among the many waiters and "floor walkers" seemed to be interested in taking our orders, whereas a couple who came later and were seated next to us, were promptly attended to, we stood up, let them know of our displeasure, and left. They did not seem concerned at all, a sign that perhaps it has happened before. Thus, we are only able to rate the service which frankly was the worst we have had in years.   Food is very good. Probably, one of the most typical Italian restaurants of Lisbon to have a great Pasta alla Forma. It only misses that Italian feeling of a trattoria. Also, do remember to book a table there, as there's always a lot of people eating in, which ends up compromising the experience. It's a lot of people shouting really loud, typically.   The restaurant is really spacious with so many stables. The decoration is nice as well. We had spaghetti and pizza and both were yummy and in very good portions. The service is good but seems to be there’s only one waiter and hence sometimes you see delays. The prices are reasonable.   Nice open kitchen and cosy atmosphere. The pizzas are very delicious, thin-crust and fresh toppings. My girlfriend had a pasta alla forma (pasta mixed in parmesan cheese) which was excellent! However, I'm accrediting 4/5 stars due to the long wait time (40+min). Other than that this place is quite authentic and definitely worth checking out for both; main dishes and desserts.   Service was a little slow and they were a little more expensive compared to other restaurants in the area but their quality of food was terrific. I had a fish with grilled eggplant and roasted potatoes. Very, very good! They have seating inside and out which was nice to have dinner and enjoy the beautiful weather of Lisbon.   This is a great restaurant, it was busy all night on the Tuesday I was there so it's very popular. Very traditional Italian fare, just the way I like it. The menu was varied, prices were very reasonable, service was exceptional, and the food was fantastic. I started with the fried mozzarella, which was way too big, then had the carbonara, which was a little eggy but very nice. We had the house Italian wines and loved them. We somehow still had room for dessert which was delicious. A complimentary pair of limoncello's was the perfect end to a perfect restaurant experience.   This place is worth going just for the tiramisu, if I could, I would've had two... The restaurant is very pleasant and a perfect place for a romantic dinner or a calm night with friends.   Very very poor pastas. We had first doubt when they arrived too early at the table at a time when the restaurant was full. When we tried them the doubt became dissapointment. The shrimp, garlic and olive oil pasta was tasteles and very oily. The pesto genovese wasn't ata all related to the true italian one. The seafood pasta a nightmare! The only thing that stood properly were the cheese and salumi, the only thing that the kitchen was not involved in the making...   I had a fantastic time at Italy Caffe. A friend recommended the Spaghetti alla Fresca and the Maitre D’ suggested the pistacchio tart. Both were great. I did not make a reservation on a Friday night so I had to wait 20’ but it was worth it. The Spaghetti alla Fresca are prepared at the side of the table. The cooked pasta is placed inside a wheel of Grana Padano to absorbe the cheese flavor. Then, pasta is placed on a plate with a slice of prosciutto. The cook pours a cream of mushroom on the pasta, drizzles olive oil and sprinkles fresh black pepper. Perfection. And the complimentary glass of lemoncello at the end was very appreciated.   I went here about two years ago in the summer with my boyfriend. We where only in Lisbon for 2 weeks, and it was scorching hot. Only at about 10 o clock at night we'd feel hungry and we just walked out to the closest thing we found. We walked right in here, and thought that this place was way too fancy for us (and our price range). But all the food was very affordable and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We ended up having dinner there for 3 of the 6 nights that we where in Portugal. The second time we came in here the staff already recognized us, the service was really fast and once again THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!!! I still sometimes think about this restaurant whenever Portugal comes up in conversation, even though I've been there several times (twice to Lisbon, once to Porto and other parts of the country).   Start with the good- great atmosphere, servers/staff were great, place has a good crowd. The not so good - hard to judge off of one dish but the shrimp ravioli was below average.
