  I love this place: rock and metal music, very good Canil beers (Dry Stout and The Best Special Bitter my favourites) and many others from Portugal and the world. If I lived here I probably would be here every evening after work. During our 5 evenings in Lisbon we were here 3 times which says it all!   A heavy metal playing craft brewery with an elevated menu and a great beer list. We were pleasantly surprised at the beer choices. They have their own beers and a bunch of other beers as well. Their Dry Stout and Christmas ale were great. We tried their tapas- my balls, fried cheese, cod croquette and fries. Great flavors and beautiful presentation. Not your typical brewery food.   One of the smarter craft bars in Lisbon, Canil was a decent spot to whittle away an hour. Short walk from the hotel we were staying at, a mission to get back to as you scale another huge hill. €1 beers in happy hour, self-service guest beers, bar food looked good and tunes were blasting out. It had a bit of a Brewdog vibe about it. Make of that what you will. Would return if ever in the city again.   Can’t recommend other place to go when you are willing to have a good time drinking good craft beer. The Happy Hour is for their basic craft beer which, tbh, are pretty good and good enough.   We had beer and Croquette as a break while waiting for my wife to do her shopping . Our waiter Ramiro was a sweet young man from Brazil who know a but if English just to take our order but not enough for us to get more information. The place is cozy . Not much customer were there at 8 pm on Thursday. Beers are very good .   Foods were good and the staffs were very friendly. However, their own craft beers were not tasty. I would rather recommend drinking other Portuguese craft beers.   This place has over 30 types of craft beer and all the ones I've had (which have been a lot) are great. I've found beers that I never new existed and am now a fan of whole different types of beer. The atmosphere is really laid back and the music they play is right up my alley. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The food is pretty good too.   Nice little place. It is clean, the people are well behaved, the selection is pretty good especially compared to other places in Portugal. Apart from happy hour, the prices are on the higher side but I think that it's OK. It is a very crowded place, hard to get any sort of privacy.   Really nice beer selection and the menu tells you where they’re all from and you have 3 size options and there’s even a flight option which is always nice. We wanted to try and bunch and the best value seemed to be in the 20cl. One of my personal favourite beers is delirium which they had. They also had some really nice IPA that they make themselves. The food was also good though they were unfortunately out of the Korean fried chicken when I was there. The staff are super friendly too. Worth a stop. We visited the bar twice, after going to other “craft beer bars in Lisbon” and this was my favorite. We met locals and tourists, and I liked how lively it was. The food is good, too.   Love this place! They have a huge number of taps including about 6 of their own, many other Portuguese craft breweries and some other international offerings. We came here just after arriving in Lisbon, hungry and thirsty and this place did not disappoint. The tapas was delicious but beware, portions are generous! Good fridge selection too.   One of the worst bar experiences I’ve had. The beer was okay, a huge range of types of beers. Prices of drinks and food is above average compared to the rest of Lisbon. Nevertheless, the service was terrible. the bartender was totally inattentive. Firstly, he didn’t manage to communicate why one of our friends didn’t get his beer on the first hand. Second, he forgot our food order, which led to the circumstance that the kitchen closed meanwhile and we weren’t able to order again, even though other guests still got their ordered food later on.   Great spot to hang out. Really good beer selection on draft, and cans from different breweries. They also make a really good burger, and probably the best fries I've had at a bar.   If this isn't the best brewpub in Lisbon I'd love to see what's better. Shrimp soup probably best I've ever had, save maybe a bouillabaisse an Italian woman made at home back in 80s, Red ale takes the style to mew heights, Imperial Stout, well as a desert island beer I'd drink myself to death by dehydration, even if that isn't technically possible.   The beers here are fantastic, even for a brewery bar its impressive! What I did not expect was the food to be just as good! We had the cheese bites and they had a pesto and honey glaze on that was to die for! What really stole the show though was the staff. We were lucky enough to have Priscilla serve us both times we were there and she was just the best. She knew intimitely every beer and brewery they had on the list and wasnt afraid to tell you if she didn't like something and why. She walked you through the beers you had and based her recommendations off the ones she thinks you'll like. She was entertaining and attentive without being overbearing. She managed to do this for all the tables in her section, making every group she serves feel special.
