  Everything about this place screams pleasure. Our server Rebecca was super friendly and helped us decide what to take, considering my husband has gluten intolerance.   A great cafe for brunch & lunch, delicious food menu, nice atmosphere and staff team. We walked in around 1pm on a weekday and got a table straight away. We had the veggie sandwich and the montecristo french toast which were amazing, but all plates coming out of the kitchen looked so good. Our drink & meal cost us €16 each.   We came here twice for their breakfast and our experience was superb! Our top recommendation is the Royal Waffle which is like the Egg Benedict (Royale) with a twist: the salmon comes on a delicious waffle. The coffee is freshly roasted and of really good quality, leagues better than the coffee at Pastel de Belém. The staff is super attentive and you can see how much heart they're putting into their Cafe and their guests. If you're looking for a good spot to start your day Lisbon or for a lunch in Belém, this is a really good Café!   Delightful little spot right next to the Jeromos Monastery, it is the perfect place to have a brunch when you check out Belém. We ordered the breakfast menü and the shrimp brioche but got so much food that we needed to stay an hour to eat it. We didn’t mind tho cuz it was delicious and that breakfast menu for ONLY €18,50 is a bargain. Loved it. All of this that you see (+ a banana bread that you can’t) was only 32,50€. INSANE!!   I had a great experience here. Not only was the place aesthetically pleasing (which I feel like always makes the food taste better) but the food and drinks were delicious. I had the best mimosa of my life. You could see they used fresh oranges and fresh orange zest in it. Also the carrot cake was some of the best I’ve ever had.   Obviously you come to Belem for the Pastel de nata but really you should save some space for food in this place. It is a breakfast place that you often crave but never quite find. I suspect a lot of the goodness comes from the fact that each ingredient tasted great and were combined in interesting ways to make them even better than the sum of their parts. It helps that the coffee was also great! The staff were excellent; friendly and attentive and eager for you to enjoy the food. It is clearly made with feeling. Try the Breakfast Bun! My wife also tells me that the décor was very cool but I cared only about the food. It will be the benchmark by which future breakfast places are measured.   My goodness, can this place be any cuter? I found the place on Google and the reviews were great. We strolled down from our hotel and got in front of the place and we were charmed by the lovely decor. We were lucky enough not to have to wait (even if there is a wait, it's worth it!). Our server, Adriana was a ball of energy, she helped us with a smile on her face and the food is amazing. We had the Breakfast Bun, Pancakes and French Toast Benedict... A little disappointed about coffee and service - I asked to bring first sandwich, and after I’ll finish - bring toast with cappuccino on oat milk. They had the “specialty” word on menu, so my expectations were high. So, next coffee was without chocolate, but was extremely hot, I couldn’t feel the taste of coffee or oat. Not very bad though.   There was a queue outside so figured it was worth the wait. Served quickly once ordered. Drinks came quickly. Food took awhile. My sister really liked her dish. Unfortunately mine was spoilt by the smear of beetroot under my toastie, which had then soaked into the bread. This really spoilt it for me as I don't like beetroot, and it wasn't on the ingredient list for the dish. Real shame.   Super cute restaurant near the famous Pastéis de Belém bakery down the street. I had a sore throat and Adriana made me a delicious cup of herbal tea with lemon and fresh mint that made me feel better right away! She was so sweet and very attentive. The food was very fresh and beautifully presented (sorry we ate everything before remembering to take a photo lol). I loved the cushioned seats and cozy atmosphere.   The place is really nice and the food well presented and rich. On the other side I had a negative experience at lunch... I read other reviews that said it has vegetarian options and they are able to make them vegan easily. I chose the quinoa without feta and greek yogurt dressing because they were out of the falafel plate (in fact 2 other non vegetarian options weren't available). The waitress wasn't helpful in making the plate vegan. I asked to make it vegan and she asked me confirmation if it was enough to take away the cheese and the yogurt dressing, as if she wasn't aware what was vegan in the plate and what wasn't. They also served a dressing that wasn't in the description and I found out that it was made of mustard and honey because it was in the description of another plate...   This is a chic brunch place that gave me surprises. The decor was great and the service was fast, pleasant and friendly. I ordered the pork cheek and was really blown away by the pulled pork on it, it is so brilliantly done. Had a French toast for dessert and even without the syrup it was divine.   What a neat place! Before even eating you feel like there's more space in this place than in other cramped establishments nearby. The plants on the ceiling prevent a lot echo while also adding to the atmosphere. The colors make the place feel fun, like a 50s diner in the US. The food was great, with appropriate portions and good flavors. There seemed to be different "types" of food, ranging from sweets, to brioche/french-style plates, and healthy options. They do allow dogs in here as well which is cool, we saw a few roaming around. None of the dogs were rowdy, but there were times where it felt they were beyond supervision...   We stumbled across this place and lined up as the interior looked cool, it had a busy vibe and the menu looked interesting. We only had to wait for 10 minutes for a table. The staff were so friendly and made recommendations and just overall great service. The food was delicious!! If I was in Lisbon for more than 3 days I would have come back. The orange juice is fresh and TOP TIER, so make sure you order it. 4 stars only because our banana bread was dry (still delicious but dry), and they could use more servers during the lunch rush.   We stopped here for a late lunch whilst sight seeing. Superb, tasty food with exceptionally fresh ingredients. We went veggie (great options) - meat dishes also available. Bean burger with brioche bun and portobello mushroom on sourdough.   My favorite restaurant experience in our 1 week in Portugal. We were there for breakfast, before visiting the monastery. Everything is perfect and SO PRETTY: the staff, the food, the decor and a perfect price/quality. It just reopened after renovations. Congratulations to the lovely couple of owners.   Omg so so good! I’m glad to see a modern brunch place in Belem. I just hope it won’t get TOO famous so I can drop by without reservation 🙃 Everything on the menu sounds delicious. Food is very high quality, really brings that special something. Presentation super pretty. I recommend the pork cheek sandwich and I don’t even usually eat meat. The portion was just right, lots of meat inside. The interior is SOOO CUTE, definitely designed with care but not over the top. Ambiance is cozy and positive.   Highly recommend! Definitely worth checking out especially if you are in Alfama. So glad that I came across this lovely place to eat. The food was fresh and delicious! I had the pork shoulder sandwich and it was the best pork shoulder sandwich that I’ve had so far. I will be back to try the vegan pancakes!   The best vegan pancakes! At Miolo you feel like you are at the house of some friends that make extraordinarily good food.   I've been trying out cakes around lisbon and I consider this as I be of the best! I tried both the carrot cake and chocolate with white chocolate and both were amazing. They had a perfect combination of a moist cake and not that sweet. Everyday they have different cakes so if you go you might find different cakes but I could guess they are equally good. Each slice is a 3 Euros. Also it it's very near the center but it closes very early so it's better to go just after lunch for something sweet. They also have breakfast (brunch at 12 Euros) and lunch options mostly toast ( between 4-7 Euros). Keep in mind that the restaurant is really small it only has one table and a bar part with 5 chairs.   Very lovely café! We had the brunch menu with a salmon toast, eggs and bacon, homemade banana bread or cake, warm drink and a juice. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed it very much.
