  The restaurant is rather busy, it is recommended to book in advance. We ate here 3 times, and each time it was fantastic. We almost tried everything on the pasta menu, and everything was perfect. The staff is simply amazing. They remember us after 2 visits, so I would like to give our thanks to Ignacia, Maueh and Jeremie, they made us feel very welcome in the restaurant, they even offered us the restaurant's homemade limoncello after we finished our meals.   I’m usually not the biggest Pasta fan but this was by far the best Pasta I’ve ever had in a restaurant! The menu is small but plenty, and the staff really friendly and quick. I would advise you to book a table in advance as the place is pretty small and fills up quick.   Below average food, basically no protein available, only pasta and sauce, small plates and more expensive than most restaurants in the area. Really disappointed. Edit: Answering to the below comment, 14€ for a full meal where I am not full is indeed expensive. There are many restaurants nearby who offer bigger meals for the same or less. Being pasta themed and not selling any protein as no relation. Just an excuse to save money on paying for protein. Finally, sure I do have that option, but how could I know before getting my plate that the portion size would be that small? All in all, just another tourist trap in a tourist filled zone. Many better restaurants around Arroios/Intendente.   My travel buddy and I came across this place by happy accident—and we loved it so much we went 2 nights in a row (considering we were only in Lisbon for 5 days this is huge). The staff were wonderful and welcoming and I can safely say—having tried half the menu—that Pastaria Anjos' twists on the classic Italian dishes were absolutely sublime. We tried 4 different pastas and the Lemon Haze was my favourite! They've got the best specials too.   Look no further! We loved everything about this place and wish we had a restaurant like this in our city. The foccacia with stracciatella cheese and a super delicious pesto was heavenly already, followed by two delicious pasta dishes. We shared both of them and couldn’t decide which we liked better as they were both so good. It’s a great concept: daily homemade pasta, a select number of special and classic dishes, casual atmosphere, great vibes and super friendly owners and staff. The owner gave us awesome recommendations what to eat! We are curious to try the other dishes of the menu! I would recommend to give them a call before you go there as it was pretty busy!   Great food and excellent service. We stumbled upon this place looking for a place to eat near our hotel. The place was packed and reservations are preferred. The staff was really accommodating and got us a table without previous reservations. The staff spoke English and Spanish. The food was excellent fresh homemade pasta with fresh ingredients. The service was a lot faster than usual restaurants and our waitress checked on us several times. You must try the starters/appetizers, we had the focaccia bread and it was fresh and delicious.   One of the best restaurants in Lisbon. Very Cozy and with a young, dynamic and friendly team. The dishes are all very good and with ingredients that always make you want to come back to try more.   We have been 2 times to this nice restaurant. We came without an apointment the first time but the owner found some way to give us a table and we are so happy about it! The food was awesome and honestly the best pasta i ate in my life. Specialy the pasta carbonara was good and the veggie bomb! Because it was so good we just came back today, a few minutes ago we left (we we're in a hurry) but the food was again so good! Also the employees were all very nice and kind! We thank you very much and if we will visit lissabon again we will come again! Also will advise our friends to go when they go to Lissabon.   So cute - lots of fresh pasta options with fresh ingredients. Favorites were the “Red Hot Chili Peppers” and N’duja (but this was a special). The pesto focaccia, Ragu, La Belle Tomate all looked great but couldn’t get them all :).   Not recommending for drinks as food not tried. We went 3x, the first time great, the other two when we mentioned we came just for the drinks, we were told always something that made us feel we are not welcome if we are not going to eat. I understand people who dine are more profitable clients, but its the way you approach a client. Such negative reaction right at the door when you actually might wanna eat after drinking is not nice. Also the drinks were just soda barely any aperol/prosecco with alcohol added which made it worse. Soda for 5€. Simply feels I was ripped off!   We found Pastaria as we were strolling trough the neighborhood looking out for a lunch spot. Pastaria is located on the corner close to Anjos Metro station. There is outside as well as inside seating available. The owner was very helpful in explaining the menu to us. The pasta is made freshly twice a day - a sign of quality that you could indeed taste. The compositions were very sophisticated, my personal highlight the straciatella on top (much to the disadvantage of my partner, it was gone before he could reach to try it haha :-) We can recommend this place very much. It is true, we did not eat in the restaurant. My family (my wife and I and our two 5 year-old girls) walked 15 minutes to the restaurant. We didn't have a reservation and they told us that they are full which is of course fine. However, my kids urgently needed to use the toilet so I asked one of the waiters if we could use it. He said we could but then the other waiter said we couldn't. I politely insisted and told him that the girls really needed to use it. He impolitely told me to go away and find a public toiled.   I’m a bit disappointed, everybody seems to love the place, for me this doesn’t deserve a 4,9/5. The owner seems always in a rush even when there isn’t lot of people, I think he didn’t speak Portuguese. We waited 30 mins for the pasta (a carbonara and a vegetarian). And compare to the neighborhood the price is high. I don’t recommend this place, you can find better.   I eat and cook a lot of pasta and I think this is one of the best pasta you can get in Lisbon. Big bonus for big eaters like me, you can order a bigger portion if you feel extra hungry. The zucchini pesto starter was amazing also. We also had a spritz and a negroni, both good. I would definitely recommend and will come back!   Pastaria is a smaller local close to Anjos metro station, has a small terrace close to entrance and is visible for public because is situated close to crossroads. Staff who work there is kind and clear with explanation for various receipts inside their menu.   As italian, I am not keen to have pasta else where than in Italy. But I admit, that these guys really know what they’re doing. They totally managed to find the right balance between standard and home made recipes, simple but well chosen pasta types and local/fresh/seasonal products. Can only recommend Cheers guys!   I passed by the day they opened and I went back two days later! I love the Sopa Fina (Gazpacho) and espacially the ragu bolognese. I'm nearly always diappointed when I take bolognese in a restaurant but this ones are two tumbs up. I 'm impatient to try some other of their freshly made pasta (and some cold beers ;-) ) See you!
