  The location looks good and girls taking the orders were nice and polite. However, food was rubish. We wanted to eat here just because the picture looks fine but I ignored recent negative reviews. Crispy tenders were awful, the batter was tasting very bad in the sense that spices were really a bad choice. Mac and cheese was weak as well. You better go to KFC or eat something really local.   Ordered a NY burguer which was 30% meat and 70% bread, few cheese and it had a lot of crumbs. Also ordered wings, which were way overcooked and some of them had a very salty taste.   I was really looking forward to trying this place, but I was pretty disappointed. The portions were small, especially considering the prices are high for Lisbon. The mac n cheese croquettes were disappointing and bland, the fries were old and not hot, and the Korean fried chicken tasted okay but are glorified chicken tenders.   One of the worst Price-Quality-Quantity places in Lisbon, probably. We paid 7 euros for 2 teeny-tiny mac n' cheese croquettes and mayo that were the blandest thing ever- Kraft's MacN'Cheese has better and more taste (and is cheaper too). Then we (2 people) weren't really hungry so we shared a Royal Superstar Menu where all the fried chicken pieces were small and bland (but they were Crispy, I'll give you that), fries looked and tasted dry and old, waffle was fine but almost tasted like pre-made waffle mix and the coleslaw was super sad, just these small strips of purple cabbage, outrageous. Oh and they CHARGE FOR TAP WATER guys (2 euros). "Free Refills" tho lmao. Staff was nice enough but the space itself was super warm, didn't have much light or proper AC. I'm honestly not sure why the reviews are so good, I was extremely disappointed and felt like this was yet another Tourist Trap Restaurant.   I would i put a 4-5stars everywhere but i feel like the bar/restaurant needs a bit more upgradings.   This was really tasty food, maybe a little on the oily side (which I appreciate this is fried so of course it will be!) but too much of a good thing was a bit much. They can make everything veggie as well - I had the cauliflower burger and it was tasty. Messy and everything you want from a burger. Good sides and Mac and cheese balls.   The best fried chicken I have ever had! Everything about this place is great: food is delicious, drinks are great, and the environment just combines everything together into an awesome experience. There was barely a hint of meat in the overcooked batter, fries were hard and inedible. Also they were “out” of wine, but offered me “filtered” water at the same price or a €14 cocktail.   UPDATE: this restaurant reported my review for no reason. The chicken tenders were very greasy and unflavoured - the batter was likely not cooked at the right temp. The burger bun was crumbly and burger broke apart. The chips were greasy and it looked like we only got the dry ends of a potato - none were a full size fry. Aioli was just vinegary mayo.   Very cool place with a fun vibe, but the chicken was inedible. Coming from the US, we'd been craving fried chicken (surprisingly hard to find in Portugal). I was excited to find this place and we liked the funky vibe and rap music when we entered. We happily ordered and then received food we could not eat. The chicken in the chicken cone was cold and the BBQ had a bad flavor. The chicken tenders kind of flaked apart like fish, not sure what kind of chicken it was, but it was bad.   Came here a couple of months ago with some friends and let me say the best part of it was the decoration, very pretty, which is the only reason I’m giving it 3 starts. But the rest of the experience was not really good, starting with how long they took to bring the food, keeping in mind that we already had a reservation. Among us we had 2 vegetarians, so they ordered the veggie chicken wings and a veggie version of one of their burgers, but they didn’t got it right and brought to the table the original versions, with meat. Last but not least, we all noticed that some of the fried stuff we ordered came too much oily.   Earlier today I had a meal of walnuts and crackers…I wish I had repeated that instead of going here to waste my dinner. I am shocked at all of the good reviews, but I now think I know what I did wrong...I trusted a chicken place to have great chicken. Should I have ordered the burger? Yes, apparently. My wings by themselves were ok, but the “Buffalo” sauce…I don’t know where to begin. Offensive is the only word that comes to mind and it’s not strong enough. Whatever it was tasted EXACTLY like nacho cheese- it should be served with a soft pretzel at a game. Chefs/Cooks/Staff Please PLEASE try some real Buffalo wings and take these gawd awful things off your menu so others aren’t subjected to this. Without a doubt the worst chicken experience I’ve ever had in my life-the chicken we did get had way too much breading and very little meat. Staff was friendly and mostly attentive, but the chicken experience was too bad to make up for it so I can’t give more than 1 star (would be zero if I could).   It was an amazing diferent experience but over pricy to a portuguese pocket, in an example a botle of watter 2,5€ it's too much. So it's not a place to repeat many times for the prices but it's nevertheless a place to repeat as many times as possible for the AMAZING food experience and sympathy... didn't had time to take pictures because it was damn good... we ate the croquetas Mc&Cheese as well the Mc&Cheese guarnich, a BIF MAF and the Waffle burguer.   Worst restaurant ever! Table of 10 with four children, the waiter took our order, only a quarter of it came!!! And when we pointed that some food were missing the waiter wasn’t able to retrace our order. What a joke. We had four kids with us, three didn’t eat! And for the burger served, they were not as we asked, with dairy for someone intolerant for example. People shouldn’t be improvising, owning a restaurant is a serious job. If I could give zero star I would do it. As I am writing my comment I am still waiting for my food while other guest are served. You should be ashamed!   Just had great drinks and wonderful food and service at Crispy Mayfa in Lisbon. If you’re in Lisbon and craving southern fried chicken but with an impressive array of sauces, you’ve got to stop and give them a try. Nice variety on the menu besides just the chicken. We had the wings, Korean BBQ and onion rings which were served with a garlic sauce to die for. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Try the ‘Look Mom I Can Fly’ cocktail. The bartender did a wonderful job with the balance of ingredients and flavors. We will return often in the future!   Visited Crispy Mafya for dinner on a Saturday because I had been craving good fried chicken (my fellow Americans will likely understand). This food was AMAZING. I ordered the spicy burger (a spicy chicken sandwich) with fries and it was absolutely delicious. Not too spicy, but perfectly crispy. Got the "secret mafya" and "spicy mayo" sauces with the fries; the spicy mayo wasn't too spicy but they have sriracha sauce on the tables if you want to add more heat. This definitely hit the spot. They also have a decent cocktail menu. I ordered the "Look mum I can fly" and "the next episode" cocktails which were both tasty, but the real star was the fried chicken. I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for good fried chicken!   We had a nice evening there ! Food is excellent (obviously the fried chicken but also the appetizers including wings, fried cheese balls and the sides like sweet potatoes fries), beers and cocktails are on point, the service is quick (even for a large group) and the staff is very welcoming.   Food is very good, ambiance is nice and price is not that much compared with Lisbon in general. A big but: beer glasses look like the typical jar you have in your kitchen with wasted oil (tall jars from beans or something alike that look like wasted oil when you put beer inside), couldn't stop thinking of that while dining, sorry xd (Traduzido pelo Google) A comida é muito boa, o ambiente é agradável e o preço não é muito comparado com Lisboa em geral.   After an intense night of drinking wine this place was a neat find. We were looking for some Portuguese chicken to fill our bellies but found this crispy fried chicken place instead. It’s really similar to places we found in America and at home in Australia and is unashamedly soul food. On the menu there’s fried chicken, burgers, waffles, fries, Mac n cheese and tonnes of sauces. We had a spicy burger and chicken tenders. The tender portion was huge for the price! There’s a distinct Asian influence as well, especially Korean.
