  It’s a cute restaurant, very nicely decorated! However, service was awful, one of the worst I’ve experienced in a long time. I ordered a glass of wine, and received a very very dirty glass with things floating at the bottom. I told the waitress that my glass was dirty and she just shrugged and took my glass. I got another clean glass of wine and a simple apology that felt dismissive and insincere. It was a mistake, but there was absolutely no care. I’ve seen other reviews also complain about the filthy glasses. The focaccia was one of the nastiest things I’ve ever tasted, it was hard and dry, I couldn’t eat it. Having had plenty of amazing focaccia in this city, it was tragic to be served old horrible bread. This is also something I’ve read in other reviews. The restaurant is very cute, the food was alright but the service and the attitude was awful, something I’ve not experienced in Lisbon. It’s not a place I’ll be going back. Lasagna is basically crispy bread slices with some ingredients on top (really strange), the beetroot pasta is not as tasty as before. The waitress is not really friendly. No value for money.   The benefit of being a small place is that the service is personal. The place is charming and the decoration depicts the cultural Italian symbols with lots of pics on the wall. I've chosen 3 plates, that's how the restaurant works. I simply loved the Ravioli, very tasteful, and the Limoncello Spritz. They serve 3 different portions of desserts ( Panna Cotta de Torino, Chocolate Pie with Pistachio and Tiramissu). The place is really worth going. This is a very cool, slightly chaotic, but very efficiently run place serving delicious authentic Italian food with very friendly staff. It's off the beaten track so deliberately not targeting the tourist crowd. The spinach and ricotta ravioli with truffle sauce was the star of our evening. Highly recommended!   Too expensive for what it offers. The atmosphere is quite nice; it gives this roots vibe of cucina and Italy. However, it has three main problems that make the overall experience not very good: 1) Service After we sat, we literally waited 30 min for someone to approach us and ask what we wanted. This is after 10-15min trying to call the waitpeople. The food took a long time to arrive, and not all plates arrived on time. So prepare to eat a small portion, wait for, I don’t know how long for the next one, and so on. 2) Food portion What was explained to us was that the portions were to share. So order multiple plates and share them with your friends. The problem, as already mentioned, are it’s one plate at a time, you wait a lot for it to arrive, and when it comes, it’s over in minutes. 3) Price It’s expensive. Period. Considering the portion size and other experiences, it’s costly. Additionally, they don’t take cards. So you must pay with cash (the paper thing) as the Incas and Mayas used to do. Is the food good?   I really enjoyed the dinners I had at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff is super attentive and friendly. The concept of sharing different dishes allows to try many different dishes and all of them have been extremely favourful and tasty. The concept of the restaurant is to share so, as we were 4, we ordered 4 different plates! We started with the focaccia - which is amazing - and then we got the vegetarian raviollis, the amazing pasta with pesto di papa Rosa, the famous ragu and finally the vegetarian lasagna. At the end, just to finish, we tried the three different dessert option.   Liked it but didn't love it. Cool place down a side street/alley, so it was quiet and enjoyable. Feels like a true "local" place. Broken up into 2 separate dining areas, one across the alley from the other, with some outdoor seating in nice weather. Staff was very nice, but seemed a little understaffed based on how busy it was. Menu has several unique items, which we liked, but is quite light on actual pasta dishes, so beware of that if you are really craving a lot of pasta options. Everything we had was tasty, but 2 things stood out to us: 1) all 3 items came to the table just barely warmer than room temperature, and 2) portions didn't seem to reflect the price point. Quality ingredients, and excellent flavor, but I expected a bit more for the price of each individual item. We were the 2nd table to sit and order for the evening, so we were ahead of the "rush" and thus expected our food to be hot when it arrived. We have heard the same criticism from friends of ours that went there as well. Will likely give it one more chance since we live 2 blocks away. I would rate it a 3.5 if 1/2 stars were available.   Omg, this place is AWESOME! Be sure to either make a reservation or RUN to get to it because everything we had was nothing but incredible. The Pizza Fritta tastes very similar to the amazing fried bread that is used for Indian Tacos, the Lasagna was super cool as it was a cross between a crispy quesadilla and lasagna, and the tiramisu & chocolate cake WERE TO DIE FOR. I was only ever so SLIGHTLY disappointed by the salad as it was rather naked, but this incredible place deserve a 10/10. I also wanted to note that the staff were very friendly and helpful in making good choices of pairings for drinks with food (we went with the peach Sangria). And I love the concept of sharing food.   This is a straightforward italian home-food restaurant. The concept is simple and consistent throughout from food to location. The restaurant is in a popular neighborhood, in a back alley, it has a small open dining room, walls furred in italian posters, three big windows, unmatching furniture, kitsche pope memorabilia, and an informal and slow paced atmosphere. The food is italian, uncomplicated and super tasty. There is a lunch menu, but the a la carte options are equally quick to get served. Some well known italian dishes are here prepared following some obscure (but authentic) local recipe. This is the case of the lasagna, with its crunchy pasta leaves loosely covered in sauce and herbs. Or the pizza appetizer, shaped in little balls (not disks) of pizza dough. Friendly service. There are a few steps at the entrance, making it not very accessible to wheelchairs. And there is no ATM payments (nor internet coverage, although there is free wifi). A great variety of food is offered and they are all delicious. They suggest all dishes be shared but next time l go l would rather eat my own food and not share it as you don’t get enough of anything when you share especially if you are a party of four people. The wine from Veneto region was great. The only down side is the acoustics. There is too much noise and hard to do proper conversation. So it is not the place if you are up to a romantic dinner.
