  Food was not great. Beef ribs were super dry and a lot of meat was quite salty. If you opt for the more expensive rodizio options they never bring out the expensive meat. I had to ask 5 times for them to bring out the beef ribs, tenderloin and pineapple. I asked for top sirloin as well but never got it after 20 mins and just decided to cut my losses and leave. Place has potential but be careful as they’ll keep serving the same sausages and picanha to you over and over again. Look elsewhere if you don’t want to get ripped off.   I am really happy we did find this restauarant, as buffet is our favOrite! The staff are really warm, kind and welcoming. The restaurant itself is clean, well-organized, and cozy, with a nice concept. A gentelman explained me they are from Brazil and the restaurant's name means Cowboy. The dishes are beyond my expectations. I was surprised of their yummy taste. We visited this place two times during our Lisbon trip. Its inside the shopping mall so dont hesitate to go to treat your stomach. It is indeed a good choice for those who are vegetarian or those who love steak, ad they can be served as long as you want. As far as I saw, it is the best choice you can make between all other restauarnts of food court. I would like to thank each and every single member of Sabor Gaucho Chiado.   O have to be honest, I expected much more based on the reviews. The staff is great! 5 stars! The buffet, not that many options and variety, left me wishing for more. The meat it was okay, not bad and no amazing.   First if you’re looking for authentic or even a Portuguese interpretation of a Brazilian steakhouse, then this is not for you. Its location in a mall in Chiado. The entry to the restaurant is takeaway food. The seated restaurant is in the back of the restaurant. The salad bar is terrible. No signs to say what the items are, fish dishes kept under warming lights for who knows how long, sauce/salad dressings(?) separating from the heat and lack of stirring, the hot salad bar items are so overcooked and dried out that they are inedible and everything is poorly seasoned. We ordered the expensive South American packaged that includes a better grade of meat (?) French fries & salad bar. I’m not a big meat eater but my carnivorous husband thought the meat was somewhat dry and flavorless. I personally thought the pork was the moistest meat and the garlic beef had better flavor. The servers are wonderful. They delivered our drinks quickly, came around frequently with meat offerings returned quickly when I asked for salt. We have nothing but positive things to say about how hard they worked to give us a positive dining experience. The beer was cold. Pretty much the positive about this restaurant is the servers and the beer. Our meal was 70 euros. Jeeeeezzzzzz! Pessoalmente, pensei que a carne de porco era a carne mais úmida e a carne com alho tinha um sabor melhor. Os servidores são maravilhosos. Eles entregavam nossas bebidas rapidamente, apareciam frequentemente com ofertas de carne devolvidas rapidamente quando eu pedia sal. Não temos nada além de coisas positivas a dizer sobre o quanto eles trabalharam para nos proporcionar uma experiência gastronômica positiva. A cerveja estava gelada. Honestly, the grilled meat is pretty OK, but the sides are not that good. Service is pretty much non-existent for English speakers. None of the waiter / waitress could speak English.   Excellent value for money and massive portions. Visited more than once during my visit to Lisbon. Had chicken thighs (€7.90) on one occasion and bitoque (steak with eggs, €9.90) on another. The price includes a full plate of side dishes (pasta, salad, fries, rice, black beans and fried banana) plus a drink (wine, beer or juice). Restaurant is in two parts: one for buffet customers and one for those ordering off the menu, who have to eat in the shopping mall. My only criticism is that the meat was difficult to cut as it was placed on top of the sides. Would've been better to use a larger plate. Among the missing ones were the two types or ribs, chicken hearts, etc. The one that was continuously proposed was the sirloin steak which we counted at least 5-6 times.   I’m a fan of meat and fries, and have been to several Brazilian steakhouses. Somehow this one managed to mess both up. The meat was incredibly salty to the point where that’s all I could taste. The fries were barely cooked and soggy. The best part was the Coke Zero. I hate giving bad ratings but I really didn’t enjoy this and wish I wouldn’t have been swayed by the 4.7 they have at the time I wrote this. I’m not sure how they did it.   On our last day in Lisbon we decided to try out brasilian cuisine and we found this gem of a restaurant.   Lovedddd the concept .. you have many options wether you take a plate and you sit in the food court or you go for buffet or barbecue and many other options inside the house. We chose buffet + barbecue the buffet had fair variety and barbecue we could of taste 9 different meats and all the 9 were delicious.
