  First of all, tourist review. Came in at 1800 on a rainy day and it's dead. So getting a table was really easy. Everyone here is super nice. All the food is made in-house. You can tell they really put a lot of effort into their dishes. The roasted vegetables were kind of mediocre but they were still fresh vegetables. Not entirely overpriced but certainly on that cusp of almost being overpriced. They do have a very wide selection of what appears to be authentic Italian dishes. The lasagna was good lasagna. Not going to lie about it. Sushila was particularly loveful and helpful. I would come back for her service any day. She was knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly.   Mediocre food. Went to La Villa on the basis of the high ratings on here. Definitely overpriced for the quality of the food. Calzone was just a mix of cold ingredient inside, unmelted mozzarella. Fresh pasta at 16 euros was 12 small raviolis served in a cold plate so the sauce was already cold when the plate arrived at the table. Wines are expensive too, nothing at less than 7.5 euros for a serving on the menu. The service was fine as well as the location and atmosphere. Will not recommend or go back.   We found this place a few blocks from where we’re staying at and have been three times for dinner in the last five days. From pizza to risotto to pasta everything has been magnificent. All staff we have dealt with have been amazing even though we don’t speak Portuguese ( they do have English menus). We have only one more day in Lisbon and we’re pretty sure we’ll be back tomorrow night.   I want to go back! New Year’s Eve in a restaurant that embraces you. We couldn’t believe HOW FAST the food came. It was almost immediately! And fresh, tasty, warm & nicely done. My pizza dough was unbelievable good: thin, crunchy and soft. The olive oil was still closed, the balsamic vinegar was good, the parmesan cheese was included… my sister’s truffled pasta was amazing. My brother’s pasta was supposed to be spicy and it wasn’t at all, but still good. Desserts have a good portion amount.   Had been craving a decent pizza for a while. A quick google search and La Villa ticked all the boxes. Only 650m walk (the hills and stairs in Lisbon make it a bit harder to get to, but well worth it) The restaurant is situated in a beautiful park.(Campo dos Mártires da Pátria 40 41, Lisbon 1150-225 Portugal) We ate approx 8pm and the place was quite. I would imaging it would be packed during the day due to lovely position. Our waiter was fantastic, friendly and great to talk to. Pizzas were very good. Salads were great as well. The best wine I experienced in Portugal, a 10 + year old vintage Eu$21.00 bargain for the quality. The resident chicken was a surprise. Note for show only, not on the menu. The park is great and very unique since it a lot of roosters and chicken walk there freely. Prices are good and portions are big. The service is very good! I love this place.   Lovely Italian restaurant in the middle of a park! I have to admit when I saw the place I had low expectations, however the fresh made pasta caught my eye, and the service was cordial and prompt. We had the arugula and apple salad, which was a good mix of fresh and tart. The lasagna was delicious, with a creamy salty béchamel that came piping hot. I will definitely be back!   I would absolutely recommend dining here. I had the forma, which was perhaps the best pasta I have had in years. It is prepared in a cheese wheel in front of the table (so you get a bit of a show as the waiter perpares it). I was also able to sample the carbonara, which would have been outstanding in its own right had it not been overshadowed by the forma. The wine selection seemed extensive enough, and I was able to order a bottle of vino verde, which I found enjoyable. The atmosphere was nice, with an enjoyable outdoor seating arrangement and the resteraunt itself being located in a small park. The service was friendly, fast, and overall great.   This restaurant is located inside of the park it luckily it was 1 min from my apartment. On Sunday night everything was closed around and only this place stayed open late. We ordered steak tartars that were really delicious and unique in comparison with others tartars I've tried (a lot of cheese on the top).   It's a perfect place to spend quality time with friends and family. It got such a relaxed and calm atmosphere, which is due to both the design of the restaurant and the park where it's located. Food wasn't spectacular, but still good. There are a great variety of options and all of them has a decent price range, so one can easily have a dish for 10€. I had pizza with anchovies, it was too salty though, and the dough was quite thin, but that's more of a personal preference. If you get here be prepared to spend some time waiting for the staff to serve and to make a payment, because despite having like five people serving, they are not in a rush at all here.   Wow. We were so impressed by the quality of food at La Villa. We were a group of 5 and we ordered two appetizers: the bruschetta and the burrata. Highly recommend the burrata. It was fantastic. I ordered the grilled salmon, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned and had amazing flavor. (Side note, it doesn’t come with any accompaniment and the fish itself would not be enough food for a typical adult). Other dishes we tried were the lasagna, which my brother raved about, and two fresh pasta dishes which were also excellent. All portions (except the salmon) were quite large. Prices are very reasonable, I’d even say quite low considering the quality and quantity of food. The service was also good. When our first server didn’t speak English, another English-speaking server was sent to help.   I would like to state clearly that the following review is not a reflection of the food itself or the pricing, but the harassment I endured from one of the restaurants waitstaff, Vikram. I went alone to La Villa last night, and my first impressions of the restaurant were very positive. The service I initially received was second to none. However, it soon become highly inappropriate, as Vikram stood over me, watching me eat the whole time, kept trying to initiate conversation even though I just wanted to be left alone. I tried to be polite and say this but he kept himself stationed right by my table looking down at me and making me feel very uncomfortable. He then said I looked like I needed a massage and that he could do it for me. This in itself was awful and had ruined the first positive impressions I had of the place.   Nice location when the sun goes down. Food was quite bland unfortunately + too pricey and staff very unattentive. They seemed a little overwhelmed by the size of the place even though it was not very busy. Strange boss lady lingered by the cash register even though the waiters were behind on their orders. We had five different dishes, none seemed to justify the price - just not very flavoursome or original. Of the three staff members we spoke to, none were able to help us in English. Modifications we asked for for the kids were not respected, which resulted in a dish having lots of chilli in it that’s the kids then could not eat.   We saw this cozy spot when we came back from a tour to Sintra. We gave it a chance and WOOOW, we were very surprised. First of all, the location is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh, well prepared and very tasteful.   Superb service, fantastic location, nice relaxed ambiance, and excellent food. We really enjoyed it. The vegetarian pizza was a delight. A bit more cheese than I think is traditional, but still within reason. If we'd change anything, it would be to reduce the flavor in the pasta dishes. Both were a bit salty, and rich.   An unexpected find near where I had stayed on a previous trip. The hand made pasta is superb. I had ravioli with pear, walnuts and gorgonzola. The ravioli looked like little pouches and were so delicious. My husband had linguini forma, mixed in a scooped out round of grana padano with a fungi and truffle sauce. Unbelievably delicious. Service was excellent and the setting perfect in the park. Only opened recently, I hope we can come again on our next visit to Lisbon.   Privately owned by an italian family from Bologna, La Villa is an amazing place to go for a nice, authentic meal, some drinks, and dessert. All products are super fresh and some locally grown. The restaurant is really cozy, the staff nice and polite, and the price is very reasonable. The carpaccio and the tartare are among the best I have ever tasted.   Discovered this 3 month old (new) restaurant by coincidence. It resides in a small park in a non-touristic area near San Jose hospital and the Medical Department of the university. It turned out to be a superb experience! We started with bruschetta which was extremely tasteful. It cost only 4 euros for 4 pieces! My wife then had calzone pizza and I had linguine with truffles, ham and mushrooms. We had a glass of red and rose wine and bottle of Pelegrínno. Total was only 31 euros. We both agree that this was (by far) the best Italian food we have had in Lisboa during our vacation (we tried 3 other places). We strongly recommend La Villa if you are in the neighborhood! Basically if i would take out the seafood (that wasn't many) and give you the remaining pasta with sauce you wouldn't know it's a seafood pasta.
