  Terrible! If i could give this place a lower rating i would! Not only that we’ve been waiting an hour for the food, the food itself was just so bad! Not tasty, very disappointing.   We have been in Lisboa for over 3 weeks and this was the most expensive meal yet and we have been to some very nice places with some amazing food. We loved the fresh bread, curry vegetables and rice, and beet salad. The chorizo and pasta and shrimp were not good at all. Tea and lemonade couldn’t be sweeten.   Perfect place for a cozy afternoon on the terrace in the sun. Patatas bravas were amazing! Also the older man was great, he had so much respect for his clients and even spoke a little Dutch!   The restaurant is very well presented. The host is friendly and charming. Everything we tried, and we tried several dishes, was excellent. The wine recommendation was great as well.   We had an amazing meal here. Staff were all friendly and helpful and provided brilliant service. The food was exceptional, we are vegan and had the tempura and sausage croquettes to start and the lasagne and gnocchi for main. All were brilliant and we were served very quickly when we mentioned we had to catch a flight so could not stay too long. Highly recommend and will be returning if we go back to Lisbon.   We went as a group of 10 for a dinner and had a fantastic time. With 3 vegans in the group, we were looking for somewhere that served Portuguese dishes with vegan and non-vegan options and Graça 77 did not disappoint! We were seated in a lovely private area with more than enough space for all of us and a beautiful atmosphere. Everyone loved their food, the cod lasagna and the clams were particular favourites! The wine Antonio reccomended was delicious. I thought the prices were very reasonable for what was offered. Antonio and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. They were happy to chat about the dishes and answer any questions for us. Antonia also took a lovely selection of group photos for us. The restaurant was also in a beautiful location next to an observation point for the city which made a lovely place to go after the meal. I would definitely go again and definitely reccomend for people looking for a mix of vegan and non vegan Portuguese food. Thank you, Graça 77!   We’ve enjoyed our lunch at Graca 77. Its not iust located at a great location, they have done a tremendous on the interior of the restaurant. The food (gnocchi and curry) was very tasteful and as vegans we had quite some options for starters, mains and desert. Would come here again for dinner.   As a vegan diner, this restaurant ticks so many boxes for me. They have enough options on the menu that I do often have trouble choosing. The style and ambience of this restaurant is a little more traditional in nature, which is a really great contrast from the multitude of more trendy looking places albeit they also have good food too. Antonio is a fine host. Great to chat with and his wine recommendations definitely to be trusted. I ended up with a hummus option and then a vegetarian lasagna option whilst might sound boring were in fact absolutely delicious and done with a special twist that I’ve never really seen before or tasted before. I was tempted by the vegan Lime pie, which was simply amazing. bravo! Graca77 is definitely a a serious contender when you visit Lisbon, it’s got the trifecta: ambience, food and value for money! bon appetit!   We had a great lunch here with a family of 4 with 2 kids. The food was really tasty, the decor was really beautiful and atmosphere was warm and pleasant. The staff was very friendly. The owner recommended a great bottle of white wine and helped us pick dishes for our kids. The entire place is decorated from napkins to chairs and tables with a great taste. We just discovered this place by walking and ended up with a pleasant surprise. Check the water dungeon room they have for the water storage in the Middle Ages.   We came here based on a recommendation from our tour guide and we were happy with the outcome. We had the cod and it was very flakey and flavourful. Excellent dish with generous portions and beautiful presentations. Not a lot of vegetables as part of the dish but I noticed that this is standard throughout Portugal. Service was prompt and efficient and it was a nice place for lunch. Prices are slightly higher if you choose to sit outside.   What a disaster. I’d like to say the food was great but I never received mine. Wanted a light dinner on our way home, the man in charge was so aloof perhaps because we weren’t ordering a three course meal. Looked at our table of four several times didn’t seem to ever clue in that someone didn’t receive their food. Asked to have it removed from our bill, still no response or apology from him and the audacity to suggest we could pay the food amount or a higher amount including a tip. The other members of our group enjoyed their food. Heard great things and was hoping to return but sorry to say I won’t go back. Also don’t order sangria if you like it cold.   The food here was fantastic. The cod was fresh and tasty, if a bit heavy on the oil. The vegetarian curry was packed full of flavour and hearty. The cod lasagna was good as well. We probably would have preferred the lasagna without the cod, but we wanted to try it. The tomato salad was great, but it wasn't really much of an actual salad, just a tomato sliced into wedges with some oil and fresh herbs. It tasted great, just not what I was expecting and overpriced for a sliced tomato. There is seating inside available, but we sat outside on the fantastic patio. Note that you will have to pay slightly more to eat outside, but that is known upfront and was worth it for us. Staff were friendly, but nothing stood out as outstanding.   Lured by the impressive interior though hubs wanted to eat outside (which I think was more expensive despite less atmosphere) we sat down for dinner. I saw sweet potato chips on the menu which was disappointingly perhaps a cultural difference as I expected fries not literal crisps you could get from a packet. The main failed to impressive though potentially the fault of bland ordering (four cheese risotto and four cheese gnocchi). Lacking in flavour and texturally not quite right.   Try to avoid. Orange juice mixed with water. Vegan burger very low quality with chips from supermarket - 14.5euro, tomato salad was just 1 low quality tomato cutted - 5.5 euro. I took octopus with potatoes and vegetables, I clamed there was no vegatables and got answer "spinach is vegetables"... The food was not healthy at all, we paid 50 euro, left food.   I ordered the shrimp tagliatelle pasta.. it was for lunch. The pasta was over cooked. The sauce tried to douse that and was too rich with cream. To top it off the shrimp was tough and tasted old.   Went here after a walking tour of Lisbon. Decided to have a light lunch which included a salad with tuna described to have olives on it. The salad was okay, but did not have olives on it, instead it had black beans. It wasn't bad, just not as described or expected. There was a lot of canned tuna on it in proportion to the amount of lettuce. Service was good, and the atmosphere was nice outside the restaurant in the afternoon.   Disclaimer: This was during Santos populares so your experience may vary. We were attended by someone who didn't speak any English or Portuguese with no menu to point to. Right off to a bad start. We ordered 2 beers, 2 soups and 1 bifana. The only good thing was the beer, the soup was terrible and small, and the waiter grabbed the cutlery by the end. The bifana came in a grocery store burger bun not what a bifana is. And the whole thing was 20€. Terrible experience to not repeat.   Found this place by accident. All the staff member was very nice and helpful. The food was also great and delicious. The place is owned by two brothers which means that the restaurant is a family busniness and they are very proud of it.   Once upon a time.... There were five people in their twenties meeting in good old Frankfurt, Germany. They had been through a long, cold winter, and were now looking for an adventure in the sun. After a turbulent flight they landed in Lisbon with a great lust for life and for Pasteis de Natas. When they had gotten enough of the latter, they stumbled upon a romantic looking restaurant. They were in desperate need of some pasta and wine. And oh, they were not disappointed! After being greeted by the most charming team you could imagine, they served us with delicious pasta (Tagliatelle with Prawns), drinks and desert. The hunger that had built up after a long day of strolling and exploring, had been satisfied in every way possible. What a perfect way ti end a perfect day. Thank you! In detail: Amazing smokey chorizo with olives and bread, hummus and tomatoes as a starter. Tagliatelle with Prawns as main dish - the prawns being buttery soft and delicioussss - honestly probably the best prawns I’ve ever had.   I didn’t eat there but went for a drink with some friends. The hot tea I had was nice. The owner is a very charming guy and super friendly. Not only that, they have beautiful souls! The owner welcomed me right from the entrance, and was very polite - the overall service was very good, warm and friendly! We were here for a month and went a couple of times and depending on what's going on you may be able to get a table (or be turned away). Sometimes it's a little confusing to figure out how they determine that as you watch them with others (and experience it yourself). If you are able to get a table order a drink and enjoy the people watching. The couple of tapas that we tried were decent.   We randomly came across this restaurant after visiting the Graça Mirodouro and what a pleasant surprise! We arrived around 7pm to an empty restaurant, but only because it was an early dinner - by the time we left all tables were full and we can understand why! The food was delicious!   Yesterday I had the worst experience. I am Portuguese and the restaurant is supposedly traditionally Portuguese which is not healthy food although that is what is stated here. The waiters that I found when I first got there were not Portuguese and although it annoys me to have to speak English all the time, I was ok with that, but I waited outside for them to pour me a drink because none of them knew how to pour me that drink for more than 30mn because they were waiting for the Portuguese guy that knew how to pour the drink… And I am not talking about a cocktail or anything complicated or fancy, just a regular traditional wine that I tried to explain how to pour but they were to afraid to mess up the quantity and wouldn’t do it. Then food arrives and they brought me a black chorizo, almost completely burned and on top I pay 23€ and they only accept money… it’s bad on top of bad on top of bad… and how does a Portuguese traditional has lasagna never ceases to amaze me!   In October 2020 I fell in love with this restaurant and came back with my boyfriend for a dinning eve in May 2021. The experience we had within 10 min was enough to fall out of love with this place for a long period. Attitude of the staff was awful. We were attentive and respectful, especially towards security measures, in return we just received full disregard. The place was quite full, the door was open (for ventilation and passage). A group of 6-7 kids just changed their place and closed the door, and staff allowed to do it putting at risk other clients. Kids motivated this action to keep the place warm as one of them was sick. And the staff was again okay about having a large group of potentially sick people in a closed space absolutely ignoring other people inside. Absolutely hideous behavior that was unexpectedly accepted by the employees of the restaurant. We had no choice but to rush out of this place. E a equipe novamente concordou em ter um grande grupo de pessoas potencialmente doentes em um espaço fechado, ignorando absolutamente as outras pessoas lá dentro. Comportamento absolutamente hediondo que foi inesperadamente aceito pelos funcionários do restaurante. Não tivemos escolha a não ser sair correndo deste lugar.

  Beyond disappointing experience. It seems that what people have already written is true; these people are not doing business in an honest way. Our main course was undercooked and over salted. We indicated this to the waiter (who was super nice), who tried to find a solution. He then got called away by the owner and we were left hanging for a while. In the end we paid the full sum without us knowing as we didn't get the bill and the owner put on a whole show of nice talking and offering us a "free drink" (cheap liquor shot).   The place looks cozy and with nice interior. The waiter was nice. BUT.. the food was bad and the attitude of the owners was the worst. We got a non cooked salmon (tasted like they just defrost it in the microwave) and the rice was mainly salt. I told this to the waiter and later the owner, they offered to put the salmon back on the heat, but I lost my appetite completely so I asked to pay and leave. The owner called me to settle it at the cashier, making small talk and distracting me. He didn't give me the bill, just told me the amount and because I was so sure they won't let me pay for the salmon I just paid without asking questions. Later I realized that he sneaked it in to the bill. I normally don't write reviews but that kind of behavior made me feel so humiliated and mislead that I wanted to warn about it here. The owners acted like they cared (after letting us wait a long time when we had complained), but it the end it's just the same as many other people shared in their reviews. I strongly recommend not going to this place, but if you do end up going there, pay attention to what they put on your bill. They know all the tricks. Awful.   We had a great experience here , staff in particular were great and were great about accommodating dietary requirements , as well as letting us move when we got cold outside, and were generally really friendly and nice! Food was also great , we all enjoyed our meals and they gave us a sample of a new recipe to try.   The chef of this restaurant used to be the personal chef of Pavarotti for over 10 years. Apparently Pavarotti had a good taste, the meals and the wines were really delicious. If you are really hungry though, you might wish for a slightly bigger portion. In that case maybe you can try out the carrot cake. Extremely rude owner and staff, our food was served to another couple on our table so had to reorder, as we watched them eat our food, then had to wait another hour for our mains - veggie spaghetti which was cold and watery and a mushroom risotto with an overpowering taste of wine. No apology from the restaurant owner, and on paying had my money snatched away from me and shouted at by staff member because they were “closing” despite there being another 3 tables still enjoying their drinks. The behaviour was picked up by other customers, including the guys on our table who had been served our food originally. They however had consistent service all night, whereas we couldn’t even get the waiter to come over and take our drinks order. Bland, cold food, stinking attitudes and terrible service, the experience as a whole was quite honestly the worst I’ve ever had.   Because of all the great reviews we had high hopes and good expectations of this vegetatian restaurant!We went there on a very calm moment and went to sit on the terrace, not knowing you'd need to pay extra if you eat outside. We told the waiter our order with the drinks and asked for an appetizer of the menu of their choice (because the menu was hand written (every day other menu) we didn't understand everything). After a 25 minute wait, we asked where the food stayed, and they didn't have an order with us they said... We ordered again, and again, for 1 small thing in a very calm restaurant it took them 15 minutes to fry something.. This food was okay! But not worth the price... Afterwords we ordered the main dish, to hear that our dishes were out... (Very weird after he told us Everyday the menu changes..) so we ordered the pasta with vegetables; we both got a very small plate a little bit later. It looked good! But the temperature of the food was rather coldish and there were almost no vegetables to see...When we asked for the bill the price was more then the quality would say... Also they don't accept card payments...For us this was really not such a highly recommended restaurant... Sorry but it did not reach even a little bit of the expectations... Not recomended.   Visited here on Portugal day, had the restaurant to ourselves as everyone else was partying outside. Our waiter was a really lovely guy and so enthusiastic and helpful. The decor is stylish, it's in a lovely part of Lisbon and the food and wine were both top notch.   This is a really lovely place to go to if you're looking for nice veggie/vegan options. There's outdoor seating which is nice and fresh, and there's a lovely view of the city just a few minutes walk away from it. The food is really, really tasty and homely. There's quite a lot of choice and diversity in the menu. I would highly recommend the panna cotta, it's really different but delicious. The service is also excellent.   Great vegetarian restaurant at the top of graca. Wonderful environment that is calm and open with lots of light even in the depths of the restaurant. Wonderfully fresh made food that is small portions of great tasting food. Wonderful mixes like orange and sweet potato soup. Small serves individually priced are not expensive, but they quickly mount up to become and 3xpensive meal. But it is in one of the tourist areas of Lisbon so is to be expected. The one downside is that the restaurant, while great clearly is not as accepting of young families. Not a place to regularly go with kids as while the service is not disagreeable, it is clearly not agreeable, hence losing the stars from gaining a higher star experience. It was more expensive than some similar restaurants or bistros in Lisbon, and that would be okay if the food was stellar, or copious. It most certainly was neither.
