  I can recommend the place! Does waiting in a queue worth it? I would say yes, if there are less than 10 people waiting. In the end, it’s not the best pizza in the world, but still delicious. They operate very fast and don’t hide the kitchen. You can see entire pizza making process which is interesting by itself. Also, it’s very nice to see the restaurant crew cooperation and how staff enjoy their work. I liked Cogumelos pizza the most. Courgette and Burrata was quite interesting but I probably wouldn’t order it the second time.   I hate to do this. Almost all of my reviews are always positive. However, I arrived in Portugal and heard a few people mention how great Lupita pizza is. I’m a huge pizza fan so I decided to order a margherita pizza. It arrived completely burned on the top and on the bottom. I’ve eaten many pizzas all over the world but this one has to be in the bottom. Which is so sad because if it was not burned it would be great. Please quality control your pizza for overcooked.   The pizza here was so good. Very hard to get a table but it’s worth it. Staff were very nice too. Would be much better if it had a larger space but overall worth popping in for some pizza!!   One of the best pizzas of my life!!! Dough is Italian-approved quality. Topics are more original & creative but delicious! Went twice now and Branca is our favourite so far. Also love & strongly recommend the chimichurri dip for the crust! The queuing system is only a bit annoying where you have to write your name on the board & they will call your name.   Second time attempted to try this place and the queues have been too much for the resteraunte to handle it seems. People waiting outside, no communication from staff on how long the wait is likely to be. People arrive 15 minutes after we did and because they are rude and jump the queue they are seen to before us. No organisation for the queue from the staff, which side to queue. People waiting for takeaway were told one hour wait. We waited 25 minutes, no acknowledgement from the staff in this time. You clearly need a bigger building to operate your business from, it's obvious you can't continue this way.   Best pizza in lisbon, hands down. Super cool staff with good service. We tried out the ananás pizza with the smoky ranch, both of which were so good that we had to come back a few days later and had the spicy amateiciana. So far, everything we have tried here we have loved, and this is definitely going to be a spot we freqeunt. The price and quality of food are very worth it. Pro tip: have a slice of cheesecake!!!   I’m still full from the amazing pizza! It was about a 25min wait for a table but the staff are really friendly and you can have drinks whilst you wait. There’s two vegan pizzas - no vegan cheese - and I chose the ‘Vegan’ which had mushrooms, caramelised onions, raisins, and walnuts with mint and lemon vinaigrette. I’ll be honest - no part of me thought walnuts and raisin on a pizza would be good. I was skeptical but decided to trust their taste. Well I’m glad I did as it was incredible! Would go back again.   Great pizza (there is always a massive queue so be prepared) but the space inside isn’t quite comfortable. Tiny little tables all crammed together. But definitely worth it for the fantastic pizza and the staff are really friendly and nice. Some great vegan and veggie options and good wine.   As a massive foodie, I was excited to try the pizza here. I went for the special which was an artichoke and lemon bread. It was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten and I can’t stop thinking about the love affair I had with this cheesy deliciousness. 5* doesn’t do this place justice, Italy better watch out.   I love this ambient, recovered from a historic building of which the original walls can still be seen. Plus, the flavors of the pizzas are particular. We tried the pizza with mint, courgettes and burrata. Fresh and light. The staff were very nice and the atmosphere was informal. One of my favorite places in Lisbon!   It was a busy Saturday night.... But this staff works like a well-ordered machine! Tuna meets people at the door with her friendly smile and outgoing personality(she actually makes it pretty fun just to stand in line and wait). Loved her recommendation on adding an extra to enhance our pizza. 😋 This has to be the freshest, yummy pizza I've ever had with it's perfectly gooey cheese, crisp pepperoni and perfectly camelized onions.   I don’t get why this place has so many great reviews. Sure the pizza is good… kind of hard to mess up on pizza. I was disgusted by the preparation of the pizza. I watched a worker go from playing on his phone directly to crumbling/pulling cheese between his fingers, rolling dough, etc-no hand washing was involved nor gloves-I witnessed this multiple times. Multiple times this worker was making a pizza, stopped making it to pull out his phone, do something on his phone, then went right back to making the pizza all within the same prep space. I then watched the workers (x4-5) make a pizza for themselves, eat it where they prepare the pizza, lick their fingers then go back to making the pizzas-again no hand washing involved nor gloves. Absolutely disgusting. If you know anything about microbes/diseases, no the oven doesn’t “kill all the germs and bacteria“. In addition, why subject paying customers to any bacteria/viruses you may have on your phone or in your body? If you are an employee who doesn’t have the standards to wash their hands when touching personal items or after eating, do you truly wash them after using the bathroom? Doubtful. Eu observei um trabalhador passar de brincar diretamente em seu telefone para esfarelar / puxar queijo entre os dedos, enrolar massa, etc. - não houve necessidade de lavar as mãos nem usar luvas - eu testemunhei isso várias vezes. Várias vezes esse trabalhador estava fazendo uma pizza, parou de fazê-la para pegar o telefone, fazer algo no telefone e depois voltou a fazer a pizza, tudo no mesmo espaço de preparação. Então observei os trabalhadores (x4-5) fazerem uma pizza para si mesmos, comê-la onde preparam a pizza, lamber os dedos e depois voltar a fazer as pizzas - novamente, sem necessidade de lavar as mãos nem usar luvas. Absolutamente nojento. Se você sabe alguma coisa sobre micróbios/doenças, não, o forno não “mata todos os germes e bactérias”. Além disso, por que sujeitar os clientes pagantes a qualquer bactéria/vírus que você possa ter no seu telefone ou no seu corpo? Se você é um funcionário que não segue as normas para lavar as mãos ao tocar em objetos pessoais ou após comer, você realmente as lava após usar o banheiro? Duvidoso. Minha recomendação é usar a pia que você tem ao lado do espaço de preparação.

  We stopped by here as we were very hungry after arriving in Lisbon. We were welcomed in a friendly way, sat down immediately with a great spot looking out across the street. The waiter was extremely friendly, the drinks were delicious, and the pizza was too! Would strongly recommend for a quick bite to eat when you are close to Pink Street and want a pizza. Maybe order for takeout if you're not open to waiting in line. Some of their pizza places are kind of out there.   Yesterday evening at 9 pm, my daughter and I walked to Lupita to have some pizza for late dinner. It was jam-packed with a lot of people having pizza and cocktails. We left and ate somewhere else. The place was small and looked rather bare in an hip-alternative way. Today, it was raining, so we ordered 2 pizzas through Ubereats. Therefore, I can not say anything about the service. They did leave a smiley on the pizza box, which was fun. The pizzas were tasty. We ordered the one with ham and the taste was good, apart from the burned parts we didn't eat.   The pizza is cooked with thick crust and neopolitan style. The over gives it a nice char taste. The service is very kind and great soundtrack playing in the background. Overall, it was a great experience. Would be a 5 if but unfortunately seem a chef lick his hand to taste a sauce without cleaning them afterwards. While I'm not a huge proponent for gloves, at the very least you must clean your hands regularly in a kitchen environment.   We absolutely loved this place!! We walked by one night and it had a huuuge line, so we said we'd keep it for another night. The next night we came earlier and waited for only 20 minutes before we got a table. For three people, we ordered two shakshuka pizzas and many dipping sauces (marinara, cheese and garlic, chimichurri and ranch). We absolutely loved everything we got, and the favorite sauces were the chimichurri and the ranch (definitely different from typical US ranch)!! We were waited by Tuna and they were absolutely friendly and super responsive and helpful the whole night. Overall, our experience was extremely positive, and would definitely recommend anyone who gets a chance to stop by for a bite!   AMAZING! We had a short wait as there is high demand for this restaurant but please if you have 30 min to wait, this is the place to go. I’m not a pizza lover but this changed my mind, I had a pepperoni pizza all to myself and I ate the entire thing. TUNA is the most amazing, funny, and attentive server.   I have been coming to Lupita since they first opened, I can definitely say this is one of the best pizza joints in Lisbon! I might even say it’s my favorite in pizza that I have ever eaten! I come at least once every month for the last one year and order by delivery app also! Aside from the amazing pizza the reason I am writing this review is because I am so DISAPPOINTED in the management of the place! Every time I come with friends we are not treated like other customers… these special customers are usually friends of the waiters or host of the night, they get special seat when others have to wait or hours for a table… Recently it had gotten worse and i feel as though I don’t want to support this establishment anymore, which sadness me because the pizza is truly the best in Lisbon! The new management who is a male, let other people sit down to eat and made us wait when we had originally arrived before opening hour… the response he gave was very rude towards me and my friends. I don’t feel happy to sit down at Lupita anymore after many many times of supporting this establishment!   We really enjoyed our pizza from Lupita. We read the reviews which prepared us for a wait but we arrived around 6:20 (18:20) on a Monday and there were still plenty of tables available. We ordered 2 pizzas to go: the mushroom and the burrata and summer squash. Both were excellent and the crust is well structured and airy. Pizzas were ready in 15 minutes and customer service was brief but pleasant. The menu is simple- about 10-12 different pizzas a small selection of wine and non alcoholic beverages and a cheese cake for dessert. Otherwise no additional salads or sides. The interior is also super simple. Pizza oven in the back of the eating area so the dining area was a bit hot, make sure to wear layers here just in case.   The pineapple pizza was to die for. I’ve never enjoyed pineapple on my pizza but our server mentioned that it was made a bit differently so I took a risk and man did it pay off! I got lucky as I walked in around 1250 and I got a seat straight away. 5-10 mins later people had to put their name on the waiting list. I think the only gripe I have is that eating here is quite stressful as you need to finish fast. Lots of people waiting and they keep “pressuring” you to finish so they can have their seats.   AMAZING pizza. Went there with a group of friends and we all loved it! The space is a little small so not great for groups BUT all seven of us and our pizzas fit onto 2 tables.   Went to timeout market and didn’t want to fight the crowds for food or a table. So I walked out and tried to find a place close to eat. Came to this small pizza place with a good ambiance. Ordered a margarita pizza with some mushrooms. The mushrooms are really good because they didn’t use just one kind. The pizza sauce and dough were also good. Would recommend. Even tho the place was packed when we arrived, the person in charge (a smiling guy with a mustache and glasses) gave us the best service from the first second, purring wine to the top of the glass and mostly being really friendly. Finally when we received our pizzas we were amazed by the texture of the dough, the taste of the pepperoni, sauce and the different toppings. This is a must visit for every Pizza lover! We tried a lot pizzaria in germany, including the standard in berlin, 60 sekunde in Munich, but they are nothing when comparing to this small pizzaria here, the pizzateig is thin but crispy, not dry at all, the tomato juice combines perfekt with mozzarella, very very juicy.   This is the greatest pizza place I've ever visited. The atmosphere is amazing when you just walk in in this small "restaurant" where the pizza bakers and the oven is almost right next to guests. A lot of people strolling in picking up pizzas and some grabbing some wine while waiting for there takeaway order to be ready. We went here twice during a 6-day stay in Lissabon.   I'm gonna be boring and join in with the praise of Lupita. We ordered two pizzas: The Hawai and the Branca. While the Hawai had strong distinct tastes (spicy, sour, salty, sweet, yummy) the Branca is a much more subtle choice. However, both were just AMAZING! The pizza is thin, the size is just right for one person. The place is small and does not offer much seating, but the customers change quite rapidly so we did end up finding a place to sit. Or you can order it to go and find a bench in the park nearby (really close to the TimeOut market). Definitely coming back here for pizza.
