  We asked for the seared tuna steak to be served with rice instead of bread and the cashier agreed, but they charged the rice. The tomato rice was salty, but the rest tasted ok. The Bulhão Pato clams I would have preferred with less wine, but for some I think it's a bonus. I recommend finding a place to seat first and then ordering food, in case there isn't enough seats for everybody.   A creative and interesting menu with some nice Japanese-format touches which really showed off the quality of the ingredients. We had the scallops and mango, sardine nigri, tempura prawns, tuna sandwich and the chips/crisps and turnip top greens. All were well executed and had novel flavours and/or combinations.   Bought oysters and they tasted like a dead rotting fish- which is obviously not how they are supposed to taste. I went to inform the manager of this and instead of being apologetic and understanding, he insulted my intelligence by stating that I’ve clearly never had “fresh Portuguese oysters directly from the ocean.” I told him I’ve had plenty of “fresh oysters from the ocean” and that NONE of which tasted like a dead fish rotting in the sun. This manager was extremely rude, dismissive and didn’t even offer a refund. I should have read the previous reviews which very clearly state they have gotten food poisoning, had to fly home and some even in hospital. I told the manager this when I went back and he just said “who’s to say they got it from here?” Ridiculous. This place should be shut down since the manager is willingly giving food poisoning to customers and in denial. Este local deve ser fechado, pois o gerente está voluntariamente dando intoxicação alimentar aos clientes e em negação.

  Me and my partner tried the oysters and I really wish we didn't. It ruined our last day in Lisbon because I kept passing out, vomiting and had diarrhea. My partner (almost a week later) is still being sick and is struggling from the after effects of eating this poison. Don't serve these oysters if you can't guarantee the safety of eating them.   Unhygienic practices. Mediocre food. Decent service. Came here because of the famous market and realised that the overall market is kind of a tourist trap.. Most restaurants here serve overpriced food so I wouldn’t recommend coming here for a full meal. Struggled to find seats during peak afternoon hours so decided to sit at the bar counter of this Sea Me shop. Staff was nice and service was okay - that’s why it’s two stars but not one star. I became really scared because I only checked the reviews here after eating 3 oysters.. Many people got food poisoned from it this week including just one day ago. Honestly the oysters tasted okay and now it’s one day later and I’m quite okay, only slight dizziness and fatigue after the meal. Credit to my iron stomach from growing up in third world country I guess. The pasta is extremely flavourless and the prawns and scallops taste water-logged instead of grilled. Serving is very small as well, I had to go to another place to eat after this. House white is very flat in taste as well. I know that’s the risk you take if you want to eat oysters but it’s a bit unusual that both me and the friend who also had some oysters ended up feeling terrible.   4 of us went for lunch. Tbh we would have probably rated everything 3 as the oysters tasted pretty good but the service was poor which is probably to be expected.   Avoid at all costs! I had literally the worst dining experience of my life. Unfortunately the lady who was serving me at the till made what initially seemed as a small error but soon transpired to be disastrous. She forgot to give me either a receipt for payment or a light up pager. Whilst I stood there to wait for food, it became apparent that they had forgotten about my order! I politely asked when it would be ready to be told I hadn’t ordered at all, that if I didn’t have a pager or receipt I wouldn’t get served my food - even though they never gave me it! When I explained this to another member of staff serving me, they made a mocking baby impression of me, as if to say ‘boohoo’, but I still wouldn’t get my food. This caused the entire restaurant staff and queue to laugh at me. I wanted to sink in humiliation. I showed them the transaction of sale on my banking app to prove I had paid. At this point the lady who served me initially, now returned to accuse me of having a light up pager and refused to admit her mistake. The seafood soup was delightful, and the octopus "hot dog" (a whole tentacle on a hot dog bun with salad and mayo) was tender and fun. Paid €14 for the tuna steak sandwich - it was so salty that I couldn’t eat it and nor could my partner. Eat first the cod's and then the sardine's, you'll get explosion of flavour in your mouth. Our waiter Joao treat us perfectly. They ran out of the house wine and they offered another one of the menu (a little more expensive) without any charge. After finished all the food, he invited us to their handmade crisps (yes, handmade) to kill the wine with. A must stop If you're in Time Out Market.   Their so called "house special" cod with tomato rice is just roughly boiled long grain rice with 1 tomato and water. You can taste the boiled rice water with a hint of tomato. Disgusting.   We sat to have dinner and ordered oysters and wine first and decided not to eat here. Very poor customer service. Chef had upset face entire time right in front of us. No one gave us eye contacts. We waited quite a while to order. Also the chef did not want to serve what we ordered himself. We had our food right there without noticing it was for us and had to waited for the waitress come put the food on our bar seats. Oysters were not so fresh either.   The market was crowded at lunch but we sat at one of the tables/bar areas on one of the side corridors. The food was delicious and service was fast. Reminded me of the food market in Barcelona. We sat at Sea Me and we tasted the tagliatelle, the octopus hot dog and the nigiri.   If you like seafood the oysters here are absolutely amazing and pair very nicely with the Bacahlôa Verdelho white wine. The Tagliatelli de camarão e vieira is out of this world for a pasta that is so simple (garlic and olive oil topped scallops and prawns). It will leave you wanting more!
