  Once I got there there were no tables available however they managed to arrange one in 10 minutes which I appreciate. Just ordered a meat croquette and a steak. The croquette and the sweet mustard sauce were tasty but the croquette wasn't hot, don't know if it is served like this. For the steak I went for something different, a picanha steak. I believe it is named after the cut rather than the cooking technique. (Generally the whole meat part on a vertical skewer and cut into thin pieces). The cuts were a bit thin therefore slightly overcooked. Fat was rendered nicely, overall a decent steak just lacking more salt. Pricing was quite fair, I had a good experience overall.   Me and my husband came across this place on Google maps and we couldn't have been more pleased or surprised, lol. Our server was very nice, food came out super quick and the prices are amazing, I got as an example a 8oz ribeye steak that comes with fries and a salad all for around €16, definitely the quality for the price you pay is unmatched. I would definitely recommend you get the panacotta for dessert. Overall experience would recommend and would definitely come again.   I’ve ordered a dry age steak but the meat was not as tender as I expected and there was a lot of gray skin, making it hard to cut, the fries were soggy and the salad looked like it came out of a supermarket package. Gladly the brownie with hazelnut was very flavorful and soft and the tangerine ice cream on top gave an exotic taste. Service was on spot.   Food was great but the service was not so professional. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all on a Sunday night. In 5 mins, we were pushed 5 times if we were ready to order. The not-so-welcoming waitress spoke very fast yet with a strong accent, none of us could hear/understand her without her repeating. Food was served almost the same time as the aperitifs. Wow we felt like it was a fast food restaurant that we went to, and they were in a rush to close at 8pm. We’re glad that the manager came and asked if everything was good.   The meat dishes came out looking amazing. We ordered the flat iron and the duck breast, but could definitely improve on the sides as they were pretty plain and lacking. We asked for medium, and they both came out blue (rare) I'm a butcher of 10+ years, and been in the food industry for 15 so Iv had my share of rare meat. My girlfriend couldn't finish her meal, because rare duck breast tends to be chewy if not cooked through. I also found the same with the flatiron but I did finish my meal, one of the times I wish I hadn't. Unfortunately due to the improper cooking temp, I got pretty Ill that night. I definitely would recommend educating the cooks on proper food handling and cooking temps as that shouldn't have been an issue. Also as being in the food industry myself, standard practice when a customer does not enjoy the food, you either order a replacement or have the food re fired. So I would say service was mediocre as well. After this experience, I can't say I would recommend this place to anyone. But has potential.   Fantastic meal. We had the T-Bone steak and the ribeye. We started with the bread and butter and it was delicious. Then we had the shrimps drowned in garlic and I could have drowned in that sauce. I will dream of those shrimp for the rest of my life. We also ordered a glass of wine and it was amazing. Also very generous pours. When we insisted Jamie confirmed our reservation, they called someone (Jamie/Manager), who denied honoring our reservation. Ordered a steak medium-rare, and was disappointed to find it came as three separate small parts which maybe averaged to medium rare but had one almost raw and the last one medium well.   Second time in this restaurant. This time with my 2 years old daughter. Would recommend the food... definitely, but not the service. I have been working in hospitality for more then 10 years now and I have never left a place feeling mistreated like I did today. When asked if it's was our turn the restaurant manager response was: " Do u see any big tables leaving ?!" ( 3 adults one child fyi). After 30 minutes of waiting ( which is standard for a place with good food ) we reach our table and waited 10 minutes before we were actually able to ask for a menu. The waitress ... I think it was Beatriz was nice enough ...nothing to say about her service. Polite, eficiente , but the manager was not fit for the job. I am sorry if u had a bad day, but it's no way to treat a guest...if u see a guest in need ( no changing room ) u could at least offer to help with chairs, instead of ignoring the situation in front of you. Overall really nice food...delicious maminha, great wine , nice decor , clean but ...still in need of improvement, special when it comes to families. Having experienced lots of beef recently we opted for salmon over olive oil, herb roasted vegetables and were not disappointed. Service was just right and gave us a chance to practice our Portuguese.   Ate here this evening as it is close to our home. Really wished we hadn't. We were sat at a table away from main area even though most tables were empty. No drinks menu offered to us so we decided to just have a bottle of water. That arrived warm, with no ice or lemon. We ordered two burgers. When they arrived mine was only warm. When I complained it was taken away, my husband was left to eat alone where in many restaurants they would have brought fresh for him too. When mine returned they said that it had been put in the oven! Initially I thought it was hot but then found only the cheese on top was. Very disappointed especially as I had a piece of bone in my burger, waitress was quite surly after complaining and all they could say on our way out was sorry. Fortunately, I live quite close as just after getting home I had an upset stomach. I guess that given its location they assume, wrongly, that customers are tourists and probably won't be back. I was surprised to see so many 4 and 5 star reviews. Maybe we were just unfortunate. We certainly won't go back or recommend it.   Staff was very unkind. We went to see the ocenarium and we wanted to grab something to eat. We came here as recommended by google guides. We arrived at 11.50 and we saw the staff outside having a smoke at one of the tables. We asked if we can eat here and if we can take a seat. They said Yes. When we took a seat they stared to scream and laugh at us. We decided to leave. I don't know if this was a prank or that they where just being rude but our experience ended here, as for the food we could not have any so no comment. Son ordered a rare Tbone and we a medium rare Cowboy steak which were mixed up - they'd cooked the Tbone medium rare and the Cowboy rare, both very nice, but not how we'd ordered.   That was a stopover right after the aquarium I just googled the restaurants around and this one looked the best. It’s just less than 10 mins walk from the aquarium, did not make a reservation thinking that we ll be arriving around 1 PM right after the lunch rush but the place was packed.   The food was absolutely delicious. Meat perfectly cooked, the quality was on par with the prices and the deserts were heavenly. However, the service was disgraceful. Disrespectful waiters that tried to force expensive wines on us and our guests, rushed while taking the plates away from the table and almost hit the head of one of my companies directors, shushed us because he wanted to list the deserts for the whole table and didn't want to have to repeat himself. Needless to say that it absolutely ruined what would have otherwise been an excellent experience. I gave 3 stars out of respect for the food. It should be 2.   Very good meat. I love the fact it comes with sweet potatoes by default, since I do not eat regular potatoes. I've been a customer for several years now and the quality never dropped. The mushroom risotto is excellent, if you're not that into meat. I don't usually have dessert when I eat out, but I often have the chocolate pudding in Butcher's, since it's garnished with rose pepper and fleur de sel, which gives it a unique taste.
