  I came here by myself, was wondering if I should order starter + main course or main course + desert, thanks to the staff who suggested the desert! It was the right choice because their desert is so good. Their food isn’t surprisingly amazing but still very high quality, worth the price. I ordered the fish risotto, which is marked as their classic dish. It deserves the name. The hardness, moisture and seasoning of the rice is just perfect and the texture of fish is also good. Very tender and chewing. The tiramisu is also very good , it came with a big portion, better for two people to share. Regarding Their service, I won’t say it’s bad, but just cold and lack of hospitality. I’m not sure if it’s due to the language barrier. At such price I would expect more welcoming vibe. After all, smile is free. A good dining experience is not only for food but also the atmosphere.   Decent spot. It’s restaurants in one, this review is for the Portuguese one. The location is very nice, right on the water and the interior design is great too.   Maybe we got unlucky given the other comments , but we didn't have a good experience here unfortunately. We were left standing for 10mins despite having a booking. When we were eventually seated we were not attended to and had to ask for menus. The food was fine when it came, but the fish was slightly overcooked for our liking (not terrible, but not the best we had on our trip to Lisbon). We did like the atmosphere though - nice decoration and great location by the harbour. It has a lot of promise , but for the price we felt the service and food quality wasn't very good value. Was told bluntly “do not worry” — and was left without a place setting until the order arrived.   The restaurant appears posh and well decorated. There was a Ferrari as well as other expensive cars parked outside, with a valet to attend to them. In this regard, a great pick for an occasion. The couvert (not complimentary!) is decent. One seafood-based sauce was amazing. Personally I found the food too rich - too much oil and butter. Tiger prawn was too salty. The steak was well cooked but served cold. Its veg accompaniment was greasy. Shrimps "al ajillo" tasted good but too rich. Service was excellent. A quality steak requires some salt and charcoal grill... not to be surrounded by bacon strips (spoiling the flavour) and electric grilling! It's a crime to any bbq fan. Also, for the price, the portions must be bigger or open to re-fill. You can have the best picanha of your life, in a similar atmosphere, for half the price.   I stumbled upon this restaurant whilst strolling along the sea front, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ate the tuna, which was perfectly seared. The service is very good and the terrace has shelter so it's possible to eat here amidst the Covid restrictions and whilst it's raining. The view is gorgeous so it's worth a trip to this restaurant.   Avoid this place. The service was horrible, staff was lazy (once they served your food they went missing, ignore your request) and food was below average. We visited Belem Tower and went here for lunch. Nobody greeted us; we and a couples before us went in the dining tables, waited for 10-15 mins for someone to bring the menu and arrange the table. After the food was served, I wanted some ketchup for the fries. Nobody attended, some staffs avoided to make eye contact. I went to a bar to request explicitly and the answer was “sorry no sauce, there is no sauce”. I didn’t buy the answer and requested another waitress later. In summary, ketchup was given to me 20min after the steak and chips were served. Water, yes they charged a whole bottle and only served me the first time (they disappeared and took the bottle away so each of us only had small sip of water for the meal).   The food was decent, not great but the real issue I had was with the customer service. After spending over 30 Euros on our meal, I asked for a to go box. The lady said they were 15 cents. That was no problem, but I told her I had to pay with my card because we came right from the airport and hadn’t had time to exchange money. She said I had to spend at least 5 Euros to use the card.   Great food in a very nicely decorated restaurant. Not sure if it’s a typical Portuguese restaurant. It definitely has a wide range of meats and cheeses, however some of the main dishes have a Portuguese Japanese mix, of course they have some steak and salads. We went there for lunch and to be honest for all the food that we had, fried shrimps with garlic, tuna sashimi with sweet potato fries and steak with fried egg and fries, it was not that expensive, taking into account also the location, very close to the Belém Tower, the very nice interior and the nice waitress who spoke well English. All dishes were very tasty, i guess we couldn’t have made a better choice, very nice impressed, well done to the chef. I highly recommend it, especially in a hot summer day. Fomos lá almoçar e para ser sincero toda a comida que tínhamos, camarões fritos com alho, sashimi de atum com batata doce frita e bife com ovo frito e batatas fritas, não foi assim tão caro, tendo em conta também a localização, muito perto da Torre de Belém, o interior muito bonito e a garçonete simpática que falava bem inglês. Todos os pratos estavam muito saborosos, acho que não poderíamos ter feito escolha melhor, muito bem impressionado, parabéns ao chef. Eu recomendo fortemente, especialmente em um dia quente de verão.

  Great food - purportedly a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian, and I don't know enough about either cuisine to dispute this, but certainly it is an enjoyable experience. We struggled a little bit with our waitress having limited English, so decoding the menu was a challenge - my advice is to take their recommendation and roll with it - you will not be disappointed.   Food is amazing but the buffet is quite pricey. The service is great. The sushi and fish that they grill on the spot for you is really worth it. There is anything you could imagine there from sushi ,pizza , ribs ,Dutch traditional food and unlimited amount of creme brulee and macaroons which is amazing. The ice cream is not really worth it as it tastes a little milky so rather skip that to save space for something else. I do recommend making a reservation if your dinner is after 7pm. There are also lots of drinks that are also part of the buffet like champagne, wine , chocolate milk , cool drinks , freshly squeezed orange juice and many more.   Note to self: The next time I want gelato that tastes like baby food and piss poor service, I'll rush to Vela Latina. We had been touring Lisbon all day and Belam Tower was our last stop. It was very hot (August) and we really wanted a cold treat. We were greeted by a lady behind the counter who seemed upset that we couldn't make up our minds quickly enough. It was icy and had absolutely no taste. I mean none, zero, nada.....nothing. We returned to the counter and asked for a different flavor and the girl behind the counter was extremely rude. She shrugged her shoulders and said 'what would you like me to do about it?" She didn't care that we weren't satisfied with the product. I suggest that you visit a local 'fast food' restaurant and get their ice cream instead of visiting this horrible Establishment.
