  This is the best taco place in Lisbon and surrounding. Do not let anyone tell you anything else. I have spent months in Mexico and can only testify to the 100% authenticity of these tacos. Overall: (5/5) Super taste, super authentic, super cheap. A prayer goes out for all who have not yet discovered this place. If you want good tacos, come here. If you are looking for an overall dining experience, however, this is the wrong place. Detailed: This place is very much what you expect from Mexican street food. Plastic chairs, a fridge to grab drinks, only 3 choices of tacos. This is not a fancy place and it should not be. But it serves better tacos than any of the (arguably extremely nice and also good) Mexican restaurants in Lisbon. Taste: (5/5) So good. The vegetarian one is a super choice, alsonfor meat lovers. But the Pastor ones (beef) are just so great. A taco is simple, it's some good meat or filling and a tortilla. There is not much to do here. They offer cheese. You get some salsa, some sauce, and some broth to top your tacos. Great. Cost: (5/5) Great. The taco o'clock is amazing. And even outside of that, they are one of the cheapest tacos in Lisbon.   I was recommended this place by a friend and got to meet Jorge who comes from Puebla in Mexico. The birria and al pastor were amazing. The combination with the locally made tortillas (and corn from Mexico) were the best tacos I had in the past few years traveling in Europe.   I had been craving authentic tacos for a while and although you find taco places that are good in Lisbon they never taste authentic. This was the closest thing I could find. Loved the Tacos and the prices are good. 2€ for pork or mushroom taco, 3€ for beef.   Happy hour (6-7pm) is lovely but only includes the pastor (pork) and mushroom options. Beef taco is still 3€. We order 2 pastor and 2 beef, both with cheese for 9€. Even at full price this place is much more affordable than some of the other taco places around. We went on a Monday night and it was not too busy but we got there just before 6 and seemed to get a little busier as we wrapped up. Staff were really friendly and had great customer service.   Went to celebrate a birthday, was such a good vibe from everyone.. There is one big table for 8/10 ppl. Was just perfect.   I might have just caught the restaurant in a bad day, but the tacos were surprisingly tasteless. The meat, which looked like it had some nice seasoning on it, tasted bland. I couldn't even taste salt. The only flavours I was getting were from the tortilla and the self served sauces. Overall, went in with high expectations and left absolutely disappointed.   The tacos are amazing and very unique. People over there are absolutely nice and they have good offers. Atmosphere is also pretty cool to catch a quick and delicious bite and drink a coronita. Prices are a little bit high (that’s why only 4/5) for a fast snack but I guess the quality is great! I often come there after a long day or before going out.   Gotta say it was a pleasant surprise and a much needed one. Finding “genuine” or close to it taco spots in Lisboa has proven very difficult along the years and for someone who just came back from a trip to Colombia it has just gotten harder. Enter La Malquerida - a fast serving, small & cozy spot in the heart of Cais do Sodré, where the small menu resembles the taco spots I went to in Colombia. I ordered the classic menu: 2x 3 tacos + 1 coronita and it was amazing (for Lisboa standards).   The way this place made us feel at home when living in Lisbon for two months is unreal. We went there for the first time to get tacos and quesadillas and were going back there every other day. The food is the most authentic that you can get in Lisbon, very very delicious quick bites, amazing prices, lovely atmosphere and the best of this place is for me is service. They are making the food with love and treating their guests with love and respect as well. Huge thanks to Gabriel who always was happy to see us and was the one who made us feel at home. Those are quesadillas that I will crave till the time I'll go back to Lisbon and I don't know if it will be soon, but I'm sure La Malquerida will be the first place I'll be going whenever I go back.   Best thing about it is definitely the happy hour from 6-7pm where u can get a small taco for 1€. Tacos are sadly made w/o love and include a LOT of pineapple. Good for you if you like it.   Went there yesterday during happy hour with my girlfriend, they open at 6 pm but we recommend you get there before that because if you get there much later you might miss on the happy hour deal. Its not really a place to ask questions so no qant you want to order by the time you reach the cashier.the food itself is amazing, We have lived in the USA (where there is many authentic mexican options) and we that this was on par with authentic mexican tacos. We had birria, pork and mushroom tacos, all were really tasty but the birria tacos were definitely the star of the show (not included in the happy hour) It is reasonably price during happy hour, the birria tacos are 3 euros each which is a little bit expensive but definitely worth it.   So, I’ve been in Lisbon for more than a month and this place has quickly become one of my absolute favorite spots in town. Whether you need a quick bite or a quick drink La Malquerida is a place to visit. Quesadillas and tacos are uber-delicious, staff are super welcoming and friendly and tequila shots are cherry on the top. Since discovering the place, a week won’t pass without visiting it again and again. Will definitely get cravings for those quesadillas when I leave Lisbon.   These were great taco's especially for the price. Think I paid 8 euros for 4 tacos pastor and they tasted close enough to how I had them in Mexico City or California. I ended up ordering 3 portions of 4 tacos and I even got 1 extra for free in the end. The hostess/waitress was nice and spoke Spanish, dunno if she and the cook were Mexican but definitely Latin American. And it's very lowkey in a good way. Much better than all the overpriced and gentrified hipster food you get across Europe they try to sell you as authentic Mexican.
