  Lovely people and great food. The prices are lower than average in Lisbon and it is great value for money especially given that the food tastes great. We went there for dinner, had roasted chicken with rice and fries. The food was great. The service was wonderful (people are very chatty and that gives you a sense of local vibe). There are few tables for you if you plan to sit down and eat but it is also great takeaway food. I would definitely recommend the place for great food and service.   Went here on our 20 hour layover in Lisbon and...did not regret it. Despite train exchange and some walking (and waiting) (we came at around 9.30pm) the CHICKEN was perfect. We'll flavoured, crispy skin and juicy meat. Although SADLY :( the beef cutlet was dissappointing although we thought it had potential IF cooked better. The GREEN sauce was delightful and the naan was delightfully soft. Ordered more chicken for takeaway and the sauces were charged at 1€ each so....oh well. Worth a visit.   Was looking to find real Portuguese chicken while in Lisbon. Decided to try Zubir Churrasqueira, a Halal chicken spot. Servers were friendly and brought out ketchup, garlic mayo and a green hot sauce (blimp of heat, flavourless). - Nan de alho (1,75€) - garlic flavour reminded me of Little Caesar’s crazy bread. Oily. - Menu turístico (8,00€) - 1/2 chicken, basmati rice and french fries. We asked for spicy, which meant added chili flakes. Chicken was a mixed bag of good to dry. All the white meat was overcooked. Fries weren’t crispy. Rice was smothered in butter/ghee that tasted similar to movie butter popcorn. Have had better Portuguese in Montreal.   We went as a walk-in and were made a short while before being seated. They appear to have multiple shops in the vicinity where you can sit and eat. We ordered a solitary samosa as a starter but went for a 1/2 grilled chicken with fries. This platter also came with rice, but we replaced this with more fries and we had some salad too. It didn’t take too long for the food to arrive. The samosa was well filled and tasty and they have a great hot sauce, which was really enjoyable to have alongside it. The chicken came and the taste was fantastic. Well cooked and so well marinated. Super tasty along with the fries, which were moreish. It does leave you wanting more, so it really was a fantastic meal and did not take long at all to clean up the dish. Strongly recommend for anyone looking for some tasty grilled chicken.   We visited this place so many times in our 12 day stay in Portugal, honestly hands down my favourite chicken shop. Not only are their chicken the most tastiest the price is very reasonable. The prices are reasonable , a menu with 1/2 chicken , fries , rice and soft drink for 7.5 € I added a garlic naan for 1.75 € and for the desert I enjoyed a tasty mango mousse for 2.50€ !   My friend I went here for dinner on our last night in Lisbon because we wanted halal food. Missed halal meat lol. The place was busy and packed. They don’t really speak English, so would be best to know their language to communicate with the servers well. The price is very reasonable and food is good too. I would recommend trying it out once.   Very good, tasty chicken, authentic peri peri. Not a touristy place, locals eat here. Cheese/garlic naan was also very nice. Rice is plain cooked rice nothing special. If I compared it to the UK I would say a way better tasting chicken cottage. Note that they use baby chicken so for a couple you'd probably need to get a full chicken to feel full.   Its a kind of stupitidy . Table was resreved at 16.40 for 21 hrs . And we are at the restaurant . Gentle man says their is no reservation system their is first come first serve policy . Ok i understand it might be . But why the person who attended the phone didnt bring in notice . On the top of that . We was 3 person including 1 senior citizen . Later came 2 young couple they allowed them first . Why because the table was for 2 . No respect for peoples elders . No respect for peoples who traveled all the way 300 km .   I always say they have the best chicken in Lisbon. Unfortunately, the quality especially of their fries is decreasing. They serve them unsalted, and soggy, almost uncooked, as if they dumped it in the hot oil and took them right out. They clearly taste like the fries had just time to unfreeze in the oil but it is not cooked. It is quite dangerous and could cause food poisoning. I was really disappointed on this one and it is the second time it happens. I advise any one that buy their food to take away, please check the fries they give you or just avoid them as they are already packed. You can see in the picture how white they are.   This small place that can probably only seat about 15 people was one of the best places to eat in Lisbon. We got to Lisbon and were looking for a Halal place that still had a mix of local in it. We found this place and literally fell in love with it! We walked about 25-30 mins to get to it as it was further up from our hotel but it was well worth it.   Okay yes the chicken tasted pretty good. But everything about this place was absolute hell. We ordered take out and the guy told us 30 minutes and we stood outside for OVER AN HOUR! For ONE CHICKEN. The place was so dirty. The woman grabbed a customers cellphone and was scrolling through it to see something and then proceeded to use the same hands to touch our chicken. No gloves. No hand washing. Completely unsanitary. If you order rice, they put it in the microwave to cook it. The lady at the counter also asked a CUSTOMER to go in the freezer and grab a bag of frozen French fries for her. We were horrified by this place. And will NEVER go back.
