  Food was good, although on the more expensive side for what you actually get. Fries were very salty although the kids enjoyed them. But our main issue was the card machine, despite trying 3 different bank cards everyone was declined and we were told it was a problem with our banks! Really, they worked fine everywhere else !! Plus the signal in the restaurant was terrible so I'm inclined to think it's an intermittent problem. luckily we had cash but it ruined the evening. Wouldn't go back as it's a very small restaurant and all guests can clearly see what's happening. Don't go without cash!!   Excellent dinner with great service. We had the cheese board, pork cheeks and dessert along with glasses of the house wine. The food was all excellent! We also enjoyed the atmosphere of the small indoor area (too cold and rainy for outdoor in early March) and chatting with the server since we were the first to arrive for dinner.   Calm and quiet (biggest table has 4 seats), not out of the way but not in the middle of the road, lovely staff, small menu food of simple classics, exceptionally produced. Don't come here for burger and chips/junk or if a wide variety of beer is your thing.   A complete gem of a place, very cozy and welcoming, and the food is absolutely divine. We had the padron peppers and the pork belly with pineapple for starters, both of which had us considering to just keep ordering starters all evening, they were truly that good. For mains, we had the seared tuna, which was perfectly prepared and delightful, but the Bacalhau à Assis was the real star. The flavor was simply indescribably good, by far the best bacalhau I've ever had. Everyone should absolutely try it. 100% highly recommended! But the atmosphere was nice and the young lady who served us was friendly and very welcoming, so we returned for lunch the next day...and then again for dinner in couple of days. The chef there really knows how to cook meat: perfect rare beef steak, amazing tuna tartare and the most tender pork cheeks. We are thankful to the waitress, because if she wasn't so nice and warm, we would have never returned and we would have missed the amazing good food the restaurant has to offer. Service however was not very friendly, we were the first guests to arrive, ordered 2 beers then another 2 to which the waitress responded in an annoyed way that she had to check if they had more? Meanwhile bringing out a total of 5 beers to other tables(i counted) When we asked for the check she told us it was cash only and had us waiting for a long time before bringing it and later telling us card was ok.   We arrived before lunch service and was told drinks only. Which we were fine with. Ordered a litre of red wine sangria which was very refreshing on a hot day. Lunch service started so we ordered the garlic prawns, padron peppers and a cubed steak tapas (whose name escapes me). We were asked if we wanted bread and so said yes. The food was amazing.   It’s a good place to grab a quick bite. We were sitting outside watching this heavily touristy part of Lisbon go by. Very friendly staff, straight forward menu. We ordered four starters and no mains plus alcohol. The food was more than enough for two however we were not that hungry. All dishes were nice, but the prawns were a bit of a let down.   Li28oa was an excellent find in Lisbon. We had a really wonderful meal and a great time! The Octopus Rice and Garlic Prawns stood out (both recommended by the restaurant) though everything else was also very good. The Garlic Prawns were not your typical prawn cooked in a little sauce, the sauce soaked up in a little bread was a thing of its own. Quite tasty. I've never had octopus prepared the way it was with the rice dish. They use chorizo in the sauce and it adds a nice smokey flavor. Highly recommend this place!   Picked this place due to the rating on Google (4.8 at the time). It is the typical over priced place to eat for tourists. Firstly, any request like to "remove" one ingredient (arugula) could not be granted, secondly you pay 2€ for tap water bottle that tastes like chlorine. For the rest food is not the worst just overpriced. It seems they just want to gain profit from basic and simple things. There are better places in Lisboa.   Unexpectedly delicious and an overall lovely dinner experience! The Azorean “Pica-Pau” comes with beef sauce that is absolutely legendary. You could put this sauce on anything and it would be spectacular! The sirloin cubes were cooked to medium rare perfection. Would return for this alone! Loved the Duck “Escabeche” as well, with its bright acidity. The two of us ordered five starters to share and finished with a dessert each. Along with a bottle of wine, it was the perfect amount of food. The restaurant is small and cozy, the service friendly, attentive and efficient.   What a lovely place this is. The three of us were looking for 2 hours to kill, some nice drinks, and a little bit to eat, before we had to go elsewhere. We regretted that we couldn't stay for mains. The various wines were excellent, the local craft beer even better, and the food was delicious. Add the fast, kind, and lovely service to that, and it was just perfect. The prawns (mustard... really... I did not pick that up) were great, and looking at some other tables, it was indeed a shame that we had to go. But we'll be back... and in the mean time, I recommend Li28oa to anyone!   Staying in the hotel literally next door, we always came back at the end of the day and this place was always full so thought we'd try it on our penultimate night. Was worth booking as it gets busy, but has a cosy and relaxed vibe. Had the mixed platter to start, a great mix of cheeses and charcuterie. Followed with the cod fish and salmon. Didn't have to wait long, the food came out piping hot and delicious. Definitely the best food we've had in Lisbon, portion sizes just right and reasonably priced for the quality of food. We didn't have room for dessert. The waitress was really attentive, gave recommendations and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely come here if we came to Lisbon again, can't recommend it enough.   This place is cozy and welcoming. We made a reservation just a couple of hours before and they fit us the in. The staff were so friendly and very quick. We ordered several dishes to share and couldn’t say no to dessert. At the end, we were offered a small digestif on the house. Our favorite food experience in Portugal so far.   The staff were very nice and good sitting location with nice view over the street. The food was disappointing though. We chose the place because of the five star reviews. The materials were well chosen and very fresh but the cooking was a little disappointing. The pork was hardly seasoned and the sauce also didn’t add much. Plus the mash sweet potato, it made a monotonic plate. It would help if the pork was seasoned better or if the sauce was more refreshing or if there are some side dishes that interrupts and change the flavor a little. My accompany had a grilled salmon dish and had the same problem. There was nothing on the plate the could milden down the oiliness of the fish.
