  This is my second Michelin experience and I was NOT disappointed in the slightest. First of all, the vibe and staff were excellent. The chef is from Bosnia and the menu comprises of multiple moments that tells either a long (17 moments) or short (11 moments) story. We initially started with the short story but had to switch to the long one after tasting the first 3 moments simply because how fantastic they tasted. The ingredients, presentation and taste were outstanding. The overall menu was also very fulfiling. It was indeed an experience. The sommelier did his job well and the wine pairing was top notch. Finally, the location is next to an amazing viewing point of Lisbon and worth checking out if possible.   We went for the 17 steps menu and 11 wines. The variety and creativity was awesome. The food is exotic and the wines amazing. Alert if you are not open to a new experience: there is one dish that is served with larves (the taste is fine). The environment was good but we expected more comfort for such a long dinner (we stayed for around 4 hours). Storytelling was interesting but decayed as the night went by, like the waiter was tired and wanted to leave. Sometimes when she asked what we thought the dish was made of she would laugh at us which made as feel uncomfortable. The sommelier and the wines were the best part of our dinner.   Very much an experience here. We had the Short Story and were stuffed. Favourite ls we’re the bread starter with accoutrements, eel and cauliflower, the salad and ice cream. Wine pairing is lovely, although perhaps felt that the portions were a little small at times. They also did an excellent non-alcoholic drinks pairing. Service outstanding, atmosphere amazing.   Staff were on point and the overall experience was very interesting. Eating at a restaurant like this is an experience and I can see how some people might be put off by some aspects. I feel like the price is not really consistent with the level of the experience though. I did enjoy myself, but I've had superior culinary experiences at local restaurants at 2% of the cost. But again, it’s a cool experience which I recommend if you enjoy culinary experiences. Rosa's bread was out of this world.   What a disappointment. I was really hoping some of the negative reviews were not true but when the bread is the best thing on the menu it’s not good. The service and the sommelier were excellent but the food was such a letdown. Not one of the dishes were truly memorable. Some were creatively presented and some of the flavour combinations were interesting but for what we paid it just wasn’t good enough compared to what else is out there.   Came here as a single diner after hearing about its Michelin status. Ordered the short story with the wine pairing. The food was good, but I would not describe it as revolutionary, it is better than your average restaurant for certain, but I don’t know if I’d qualify it at the top with the Michelin. However, I would applaud the wine pairing, which I think was exceptionally done (alongside the service) The story itself was interesting - it’s similar to a biography of a chef, with dishes created based on the chefs main experience. My original assumption was that every dish had a story to go along with it, however for about 1/3 of my dishes, they just described the dish and there didn’t give a story to tie it together. There was one occurrence where I learned the story behind the meal from the waitress explaining it to the table next to me who experienced the course after I did. This is the main reason for 4 stars. All in all, food was good but not mind blowing, service itself was kind and high quality, but lacking in the “story”. We liked the overall atmosphere, the place is nice and well located. The menu is over-priced, moreover for these prices you get the food that is pretentious but that is just not worth it. This is just an an average wannabe Balkan cuisine restaurant that would be like 1/2 of the bill if situated in Belgrade. Though, the wine carte is amazing for Lisbon!   The Story menu is a nice concept. One dish in particular (coral) was so disgusting I wouldn’t eat it if I was getting paid to do so. That’s just not right at a Michelin star meal.   Celebrated my 32nd birthday here - such a memorable meal. We did the story with wine pairing. Big big praise to the sommelier- he was engaging, attentive and the pairings were fantastic. Servers were also great! I really liked the chefs story here - as immigrants, his story through his culture and the evolution since his arrive to Portugal stood out to us. My stand out dishes were the eggplant dish, the pork dish and the pear/pistachio dessert (I will dream about that). The initial bread dish was fun and beautiful. Cow neck and cuttlefish bites were also highlights. I am still upset I forgot to take my poison with me! In terms of critiques - I don’t get these types of restaurants charging for water at all, small pet peeve.   Fantastic experience. Did the "Short story" with wine pairings. Truly memorable. I can see why some would find some courses challenging, but I really enjoyed the XO style sauce made with mealworms.   It was enjoyable with good service staff and excellent wine sommelier. The mealworm dish was unappealing. I found a large fish bone and 3 fish scales in the main dish where there should be none.   Was attracted to the Story telling concept, so decided to try the Full Story menu. Food presentation wise it was great, However taste wise it just lack of complexity and surprises, and most of it just taste salty. The Fish Dish is lack of effort and creativity.   In one word, incredible. We loved all the chef’s stories behind the dishes - they were personal, heartfelt, and also educational (we know more about Bosnian food culture than ever before 😄).   We had 17 courses and it took us 3.30 hours to finish all dishes. They serve 14 times with 17 courses. The all the food tends to be salty salty. Maybe its the tastes here. The dishes not like wow wow. 170 euro per person not included the drinks. My favorite dish was the tacos.   This place was very innovative in flavours and concept. We did the 17 course journey and struggled to finish it all. The food, although not all to out palate, was cooked perfectly and creatively. I loved the story that was told with each dish. Service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Bosnian food with a twist.   At the end of the day this place does not live up to the hype. Very little of what I ate was truly memorable but there were a couple of courses that did really elevate themselves above the overall experience. Was also incredibly drawn out with the meal lasting over 5 hours for the abbreviated tasting menu. The whole notion of the meal representing the chef's life was lost in a confusion of narration.   Incredible! Definitely the top restaurant we’ve been to in Portugal, and honestly, on our Europe trip overall. The food was delicious. We did the “short story” 11 course tasting menu, and found it to be the right amount of food and were quite full by the end. Such a unique blend of flavours and concepts, mix of rich vs. refreshing dishes, and each showing the chef’s unique life experiences. We also had an allergy that they did a wonderful job accommodating with great and creative modifications of each course. The service was excellent, attentive but never overbearing. Great explanation of each dish and its origin. Finally, the space was beautiful. The dinner is indoors but it felt like you were dining in a forest. Each detail including the cutlery, plates, curtains, and even the bathroom walls were clearly well thought-out to create this beautiful ambience. I would definitely come back here again!   Amazing experience this evening.... A little tricky to find, but once inside the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.   I had reserved a table at this restaurant and the next day (the day of the reservation) I had to cancel it last minute because of a medical emergency from a family member. The restaurant decided to still charge me 300 euros because of the last minute cancellation and I explained to them that this was completely out of our control and to have compassion and understanding and they didn't care. I don't understand how a restaurant can get away with charging 300 euros for a cancellation - it's complete robbery. I understand a fee for cancelling last minute but this amount is unjustifiable and the lack of understanding from the restaurant because the events were completely out of our control was extremely disappointing. We only held the table for 24 hours, this was not a reservation that was made weeks or days in advance.   This must have been one of the most disappointing meals of my life. To pay over 300 euro for such a meal is hard to swallow. Two of the dishes were fantastic (The bread, and the mushrooms), but most of the dishes were tasteless (the grouper fish) and several were bad (e.g. the squid ink fish).   I recently had the chance to try out Chef Ljubomir Stanisic's Michelin-starred restaurant, and while there were some standout moments, there were also a few things that didn't quite hit the mark for me. The tasting menu started off strong with a fantastic Balkan-inspired couvert that got me excited for what was to come. Some of the dishes throughout the meal were truly delicious and unique, showcasing the chef's background and experiences. However, there were a couple of dishes that missed the mark and didn't quite live up to my expectations. Towards the end of the meal, I found the dessert selection to be a bit too heavy on the sweet side, and I was hoping for a touch of freshness to balance it out. One thing that struck me as a bit odd was the music selection. They had a mix of fado, Balkan tunes, and disco music playing, which seemed like an unusual combination and didn't quite fit the dining experience.   Before anything else, the staff and service were great - we loved it. The first course of bread also seemed to set a smashing tone for the rest of the meal; unfortunately for us it felt like it sort of went downhill from thereon. The tables are also set pretty close together: we were sat adjacent to each other but the next tables’ diners were just a hand’s breadth behind us. Some of the dishes were not bad, the salad and tacos were tasty. The stories behind the dishes were interesting too. But the inclusion of mealworms and crickets came out of nowhere, with no explanation as to how they were significant to chef’s background (since this was the premise behind the whole meal). We couldn’t eat the red mullet - found this fishy and the jamon tea too jarring, whilst the ice cream at the end had incoherent flavours - in our opinion.   In 100 maneiras you'll find a really well thought menu from start to finish, with ingredients and dishes you never tried before, besides classics with a twist. The cocktails are also really good. The only thing I missed was a more filling protein dish. Overall, it is a nice experience, but I wish there was one dish that left me wowed and made me crave to go back, which didn't happen. Definitely an interesting experience, but not an unforgettable one.   Not at all worth a Michelin star. +’s = bar and table service -‘s = many After arrival we were asked to wait at the bar with the justification that they were full. We were ok with having a cocktail and wait (this was planned anyways), but I found strange that there were many free spots. It felt like the typical “spend something by the bar because we are exclusive” play. Finally we were indicated the table. The table was 20cm far from the other table, presenting a complete lack of privacy (we had asked to get a table not next to other people…), this felt completely made on purpose… and avoidable as there were many free tables. Moreover the table was free since we came in… so why did they sit us at the bar suggesting that they were full..? Between couvert and main course 2 hrs passed. Needless to say that we were exhausted and no longer hungry by the time the main course arrived… and no, I’m not going to keep begging for food on such a “pretentiously exclusive place”. They have the absolute obligation to do better. Obviously we were tired and not hungry at this point, so we decided to skip the dessert and head home. Never more. A complete waste of money. Nem preciso dizer que estávamos exaustos e sem fome quando o prato principal chegou… e não, não vou ficar implorando por comida num “lugar tão pretensiosamente exclusivo”.   just got back from the restaurant and wanted to share our experience with you. The services was grate, Maria and Nelson did great job with explanation and finding alternative dishes when needed. We took the full long story for 160 euro each. Unfortunately, big part of the dishes weren't for our taste. Most of them were too salty and we barely touched them. We shared that thing with the waitress but didn't get any solution for that. Furthermore, we informed you that we celebrating dad 70s birthday and didn't get any notion from the staff. Overall, we were disappointed and felt like we didn't get Michelin food or service. Sent a mail to the restaurant with this review and didn't get any response.   It really depends on your expectations - having visited in the past with a different menu that was amazing, visited again a few years later with high expectations. Had an 11 moment meal which is not even the biggest and left completely full - each moment is a small dish and they suggest a wine that complements nicely. Unfortunately most dishes were just average in taste and I believe that chef is more focused in the excentricity of the dishes than in the flavour and taste. Dont intend to come back after this visit. Staff was great though and very accomodating to your requirements.   We had an outstanding meal here while visiting from London. We felt emotional hearing the chef’s story from Bosnia to Portugal, told through each stunning plate presented. We had the 11 course menu and highlights for us were the bread starter, the grouper in broth, last supper and the lollipop dessert.   A perfect meal. We had the 17 course menu which is a very good amount of food that takes you through a journey of the chef's life. Every dish was outstanding and the only one that was not a complete crowd pleaser was the carabineiro. All the other 16 were amazing and we left the place wondering why just one Michelin star and not two already.   I’d give 6, if I could. Embrace your self, this is something different. Once you book someone will call you making sure they get to know any food allergies upfront. On the day you’ll get an email with the menu where they instruct you how it is going to be. This is a tasting experience. You either pick “conto” with 11 dishes or “história” with 17 dishes. My wife and I went for 17. The staff is absolutely amazing, they will walk you through all the details of what you’re tasting. I never have tasted something like this. Incredible. The amount of food, the flavors, everything is part of the experience so I definitely recommend. You can also taste a few wines of just pick one for the evening. Don’t worry, you’ll have a sommelier to help you choose. I definitely prefer to pay this amount of money on dinners like these where you don’t get to choose what you gonna eat, is the chef that guides you. Although you’re is a very well design space you don’t feel force to behave like everyone else that goes to expensive restaurants. This is a place where food and family are priorities.   I went to 100 Maneiras last week because it was recommended to us. We weren’t sure what to expect especially since we didn’t have a reservation but thankfully we arrived early. I was on honeymoon vacation from Chicago and we had booked so many restaurant reservations throughout our vacation but nothing compared to our experience at 100 maneiras. It was the best food I had the whole trip, and one of the most memorable meals I’ve had in my life. The service was very genuine and personable. Everything from the bread, to the dessert was top notch. The unique cocktails added even more to the experience. I had the rice and seafood dish and my husband had the spicy octopus.   I drool just thinking of the food here. The 17 moments tasting menu is a lot for one person, but I’m so glad I was able to experience it. The food here is out of this world. Every dish was a perfect explosion of flavors. I also tried one of the cocktails (it had ginger and green tea in it) which was a bit a disappointing. But fortunately the food more than made up for it. If I ever splurge on a michelin experience in Lisbon again, this would be it. Favorite moment is probably the ice cream popsicle.   Great staff, above all: super friendly without being intrusive. The food is excellent, but not for faint-hearted: it has a strong character (like the Chef). The price (around 300€ for two if you take the “story” menu and some wine) is in line with other European Michelin-star restaurants, which is quite steep for a country with a 600€ minimum wage.   We were at the 100 Madeira in early September. After we had already enjoyed a great evening at 100 Maneiras Bistro a few years ago, we now wanted the "real" experience.   Really liked the place, the way the owner has decorated it, the team that runs it is good and has energy (from the booking manager, to the somelier, and the guys presenting the dishes). Not 5 stars in my book primarily because of the lenght of the experience, took us 4h to go through which for me is too long, needs better tempo. The food balances well the chef history and his application of creativity to it, some new flavours, it's enjoyable (I am more a fan of product, but I do respect creative effort, it is not easy). We added a Portuguese wine pairing (we were only two days in Lisbon, and since this night we were giving up Portuguese food, at least we got a fun walk through local wines, with a couple of international ones in the mix when needed).   Overall a great meal and experience. We choose to sit in The Dining Room, which was a more social atmosphere as my girlfriend and I chatted with the couple sitting across from us. You also have a slight view into the kitchen. I did not feel shorted on the number of courses served and the courses were well balanced, which kept my taste buds properly engaged. All the rooms (back room, glass room, and the dining room) serve the same courses with a different feel. I suppose the back room is a bit more private/intimate in case you don’t want to hear other conversations or be heard. Expect to spend about 250€ NOT including any alcoholic beverages. If you’re on a nice vacation and looking for a nice experience, I would recommend this place as a one off splurge. There are plenty of other good, bang for the buck places to eat in Lisbon (and Porto) to make up for this excursion. Also, we were quite late to the reservation and the staff was more than accommodating. It was our favorite meal; great food, great experience, felt different (to help the vacation vibe), and an interesting atmosphere.   Went with my daughter. I had wondered why they have not even been awarded BIB gourmand. Service was very pleasant, personal and informal. The Sommelier was especially good, but the bartender rather arrogant, as he “had to mix” a lemonade for my daughter, at €10!! Very ambitious place, menu and dishes, but 2/3 of do not deliver on nearly the expectations, but last 1/3 of the meal was very good, so was the bread dish to start with.   I found this place for my girlfriend birthday and it was the best choice ever, the food highlight of our holiday in Lisbon. Tha place is just amazing, as the staff, very friendly and caring. We went for the longer tasting menu and each dish was a surprise. The chef Ljubomir Stanisic is a genius, a mix of craziness and tradition from his home country, he came to the table to tell us the story behind the dishes, he really shared his life with us. Not only the food was stunning but it was an emotional rollercoaster of flavours and combinations we never tasted in our life.   This place is awesome. In a city fully of great restaurants, this one really stands out above the rest. The food is incredible, but the best part is how much fun you will have. The staff is so friendly and each course will have a funny and/or ridiculous name. The format of the restaurant is cool - it is eight to ten courses without a menu. Aside from accommodating food allergies, you get what they make. That’s fun if you ask me. One tip - depending on your comfort level navigating a wine list (or asking for help), there’s better value to be had by buying two bottles of wine (a white and a red perhaps) than doing premium pairings.   Had the mushroom and ceviche starters. Both were absolutely amazing! The wine was also good, but the tuna that was the with their tuna tartar was unfortunately not that fresh cut that night. I loved the artwork and the general atmosphere, but the service was also both confusing and not great. Like we did not have a solid person to ask questions or work with on what was Best.   We visited in March 2018 for my birthday and enjoyed a multi-course dinner. The food was beautifully presented and the staff were very accomodating. Unfortunately, a good dinner was somewhat ruined by my wife getting quite sick later that evening. We suspect - though cannot obviously be certain - that some of the shrimp we were served were either not cooked properly or had gone bad. A disappointing end to an otherwise good experience.   The service and the wines are really good. Also three out of ten courses tasted very well but some of them weren't absolutely not our taste (e.g. ice-cream which tastes like Gorgonzola cheese). We started our dinner at 8pm and around 10:30pm we had to leave because new people were waiting outside to get seated. Thinking about the fact that we spend > 100€ per person for the menu and the wine tasting, it's simply not appropriate to kick us out like that.   It is important to note that the tasting menu and the a-la-carte are not offered in the same venue (i.e. this restaurant has 2 venues in Lisbon). If you go at the venue to book, the staff says that it's only possible to book by phone during the day, which we thought was a bit awkward. We did so but we were not told on the phone about the different venues so turned up at the right place but we were not booked for what we wanted. After a bit of a chaotic booking experience, we managed to get a table for the tasting menu and pairing wine. The food and the wine were both excellent. The food is full of flavours and the chef's compositions will blow you away in many instances. For example, my favorite was the Cuttlefish Expresso. The Amuse-Bouche is also amazing, artistically wise too but I'll let you the surprise ;-) The only negative thing I can say about the food is that the staff brought every dish one after the other, sometimes without even a few minutes break! Conclusion: the food is excellent but the process that their staff follow could be improved to make the experience even better.   Perhaps the best meal I've eaten this year - every bite of the tasting menu was special, unusual, and delicious. I'm already dreaming of the duck... a little fois atop thinly sliced rare breast, alongside some crispy confit -- all on a bed of mashed veg, maybe it's the PT equivalent of Jerusalem Artichoke... salivating!! Didn't have the wine, but list looked amazing. The vibe of this place is exciting -- young, energetic, stylish, but simple. Small place - fun to watch the waiters dance between tables. Great service. Accommodating for our kids. Only complaint: After about 5 courses, the production came to screetching halt and we had about 40 min delay for the meat course (maybe someone messed up the risoto and had to start over...) so dinner took fully 3 hrs, which is too long for me, esp in "bistro" chairs... so this meant I didn't fully appreciate the end of the meal. :( That said, I would definitely go back. Tasting menu was just under €50 pp, and they did a kid price of about €30 for our boy who only had a couple of the courses, which we appreciated. BTW, this is in a very cool neighborhood, fun to walk around before & after. Ótimo serviço. Acomodando para nossos filhos. Única reclamação: depois de cerca de 5 pratos, a produção parou bruscamente e tivemos um atraso de cerca de 40 minutos para o prato de carne (talvez alguém tenha estragado o risoto e tenha que recomeçar...) então o jantar demorou 3 horas, o que é muito tempo para mim, especialmente em cadeiras de "bistrô". :( Dito isto, eu definitivamente voltaria. O menu de degustação custava pouco menos de € 50 por pessoa, e eles cobraram um preço infantil de cerca de € 30 para o nosso menino, que só tinha alguns pratos, o que nós apreciamos. Aliás, este é um bairro muito legal, divertido de passear antes e depois.

  The decoration is sober, light and cozy. The food is tastelicious (you should try the mushroom risotto with prawns. It's a recipe from heaven!). It's very well located, meaning: you go out for dinner with your friends and then you can stop by Bairro Alto for a drink, which is just around the corner.
